The food taste like authentic Peruvian food! Everything was so good, from their drinks (Pisco Sour), to the appetizer (Piqueo Don Cha), to the entree (Lomo Saltado A Lo Pobre) and finally thier desserts (torta de manjar). I definitely recommend trying their Lomo Saltado A Lo Pobre. The staff was so nice and welcoming. And the restaurant it self is beautiful! They have a waterfall outside and inside they have beautiful decorations from Peru. I will be coming back! read more

The food was spectacular, I ate there for the first time with an old coworker (she was born and raised in Peru) and she gave it her stamp of approval too. We had ordered the three ceviche appetizer, Lomo saltado, and Aji de gallina and everything was excellent. We ordered two appetizers, to include Octopus which was cooked perfectly and extremely flavorful. We then ordered five different meals, a whole fish, some steak, ceviche, and fried rice. This is just not good food for the price being charged. The chicken was dry and chewy, it seemed like it was boiled chicken. The pork was very under cooked. The sauces served with the entrees were thick and paste-like. Everything was just dry, even the sauce which is an odd culinary experience. The appetizers were mediocre, fried calamari and yucca, they would have been better if their sauces were not bland. The Peruvian beers were acceptable, hence the third star. Overall, 2 bottled beers, 2 fried appetizers, and 2 basic entrees were $100. If it were better that would be ok but I would not go back and I would not recommend it based on this experience and that price. read more

My wife and I stopped in while we were on an anniversary trip. We really enjoyed the experience. Most of the menu was foreign to us but the server was VERY helpful in walking us through everything and explaining all the dishes. I ordered the trio so I got ceviche, fried calamari, and a seafood fried rice. I was a little nervous because I'd never had ceviche and I was worried it would be too "fishy" but it was delicious. My wife got the steak with fries, rice, and fried plantains and she liked all of it. I tried a little of the steak and it was tender and well seasoned. We shared the a dessert. I can't remember the name but it was like flan with a caramel sauce and it was good as well. Portions were very generous. You won't leave hungry. And for everything we got I thought the prices were very reasonable. We were there on a Monday night so it was pretty slow which was good for us because the server could spend plenty of time with us and even explain some of the history behind the cuisine. Would definitely recommend and would definitely return if we stay in Pensacola again. read more

My family and I have been coming here regularly since this place first opened and it's been delicious every time! Service has been incredible until this most recent time. We ordered crema volteada for dessert, but the waitress (our paycheck said Alicia, but it might be another waitress since our original waitress sent another waitress to cover us after this incident) misunderstood and brought us tres leches instead. We weren't aware of this, since they look alike except for the top part (crema volteada has a caramel colored top) but it was covered in whipped cream. My aunt and I took a bite but realized it was tres leches instead of the crema volteada that we ordered, and alerted the waitress. She was immediately condescending about how we had already taken a bite out of it, so she couldn't take it back. She said she'd have to speak to a coworker about it and came back with a crema volteada and took the tres leches away, complaining about how it was going to come out of her paycheck. That's unfortunate but she tried to tell us that for the future, we should ask what the dessert is. We pointed out that if she had written the order down, she wouldn't have gotten it confused. She then whined that it didn't matter that she wasn't Peruvian, that she still knew how the food looked. Then she left. Other than that, we have had a wonderful time coming here every time. Aside from that, we ordered the pesto especial (incredible), the Trio Don Cha (amazing), and have also previously tried the leche de tigre (delicious), the seco (very good), the ají de pollo (great), and the picanha al cilindro (yummy). Will come back! Just because the waitress had an attitude about messing up does not take a star away from how great our experiences here typically are :) read more

We basically had her choose our food and everything she chose was PHENOMENAL. From the ceviche to the fried fish to the smoked pork - literally everything was so good. Don't sleep on this place.
