It's always a great experience coming to Don Cha. We celebrated my friend's birthday and had a great time. Making reservations for a big group of people is the easiest thing here. Other places will ask you to pay 1-3 checks total, limited amount of people, limited time etc. Don Cha always welcomes everybody no matter what. Food is delicious! So many options to choose from. Place is big, bathrooms always clean, plenty of tables and service is fast.

This place is definitely a 5-star!! Everything from the decor to the food to the service was amazing. My group went the first time as takeout for lunch, and it was so good we came to eat dinner at the restaurant the same day!! We ended up ordering two of the specials and both were so insanely delicious. The server Carlos was the sweetest and very kind to us each time!! And you have to try their house made ice cream if you like coconut and sweetness

Wyndie and I decided to try this place Thursday night. The service was Great! Carlos was passionate about the food and explained every thing about it! How it was made to the flavors you would experience. The restaurant was larger than we expected but still had a great feel. The food was outstanding!!! I would highly recommend trying Don Cha!!!

Great location and ambience. I really enjoyed the wings and lumpia. The service was quick and friendly. I'd happily go again.

Although slightly pricier than expected, the unique food, service, and ambiance was unbeatable. There are a few tables outside near a small pool of water and a streaming waterfall, or plenty of booths and tables inside as well as a bar. We were warmly greeted by Joca, who walked us through the menu in detail with several personal recommendations. Ultimately we chose the tacu tacu luomo saltado and pescado a lo machu. Rather than Mexican style chips and salsa, they provide a type of Peruvian corn nuts with lime and hot sauce - unique and very good. The Tacu tacu was absolutely incredible, such a nice blend of savory steak and tasty soy type of sauce, accompanied with a "bean loaf" is the best way to describe it. It's beans in the shape and consistency of a bread loaf and amazing. I will definitely order that again The pescado was good, but nowhere near the tacu tacu. In fact the seafood was better than the fish (just slightly over cooked) with rice. Overall both plates were filling and between $22-$28. The bathrooms were clean and we enjoyed our experience and will certainly return.

Stopped by on a Monday night for a quick to go order, and WOW. The food here is outstanding! I had a side of patacones with ceviche and it was filling, fresh, and delicious. Prices were reasonable especially for how tasty the food was. Lots of indoor seating and will absolutely stop by again the next time I'm in town.

Ambiance - beautifully decorated. I had to look up the colors of Peruvian flag to understand the color scheme. Lots of decorative bulls and alpacas decorated the ledges. Service - I'm not sure if it was the manager or the owner that waited on us, but he was very attentive and explained each dish I had questions regarding. He even explained their special tea. Very happy with his patience and service. I wish more wait staff in town could be like him.. Food - it's my first experience with Peruvian food so I have to be careful here. Their spice pallet is different not bad just different. We started with the appetizer Yuca a la hauncalna. It's fried yuca with a hauncalna sauce (it's a yellow chilli sauce). The yuca was ok but I was expecting more from the hauncalna sauce. More of a chilli zip. Still it was good. Next I had the Lomo Saltado a la poure. It's steak sautéed with red peppers and onion. The steak was tender and juicy. Definitely worth a second try. The white rice had a fried egg over it. The fries were ok especially with the juice of the steak. It also had fried plantains, they were very sweet and tasty. My partner had the lunch special of Pollo Chijaukay - chicken thighs in a sweet soy sauce with peas and bell peppers. She loved the chicken and vegetables but did not find the fried rice pleasing. Overall it was a good meal and first time experience with Peruvian food.

This place has been on my radar for a while and finally made it. Carlos was our server and he was an absolute gem! I think we was running the front of the house pretty much alone because he was all over the place. Everything we ordered came out the perfect temperature and such amazing flavors I was so surprised! The food was made with so much love and you can taste it. This had to been the best pork belly I have ever had. All the meats had a great charcoal grill flavor. Inside was nice and clean. We will definitely be back.

While exploring the dining scene in Pensacola, we had a fantastic dinner at Don Cha Peruvian Food Pensacola. The beer was ice cold and the food was delicious. The dishes were remarkably fresh and well seasoned. We highly recommend the Papas Rellana.

    1. Parking, entrance. These place has plenty of parking spaces. 2. The ambiance and seating. Large dining room with the Spanish Southern American character. I liked the open space. Service was awesome! If I had questions about the food, the waitres would not hesitate to go above and beyond, always watching if we needed anything. The food portions are large, the Lomo Saltado was tender, very well cooked with the right amount of seasoning. The maduros sweet taste, white rice and sauteed onions and tomatoes were a pleasure to my palate. A delightfull experience for the sense of taste. An 8 in acscale from 1 to 10. 4 Yelp stars. I 'll be back...

Absolutely wonderful dining experience. Very clean. Spacious seating. Comfortable and inviting decor. The Manager and the staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The food was nothing short of fantastic. Very very authentic. Large menu selection of dishes. Everything is made fresh to order - this is not a fast food dining experience. Taste was exceptional, and matched the presentation. The staff does not hover or bother, and instead walks by, attentive to empty glasses in need of refill, or plates to be removed, but does not needlessly bother you at the table every few minutes asking if you need anything - you can enjoy your meal and your company. Carlos (the Manager) explains the dishes, and the ingredients, and offers suggestions based upon your taste. This was again, a simply wonderful dining experience. I will definitely be a regular.

Being Peruvian, I'm very picky about Peruvian restaurants. This was the absolute best I've had so far - in Texas or in Florida!

That was the worst, the guy looks like he doesn't want to be there, he is a grump when you talk to him, and almost like you are bothering him when you come up to the window. We will probably come back but only order online and pick up. Now this isn't the first time, one day we arrived during hours of service and the same guy said not open until 7 pm. Yet hours said, 11am - 9 pm. Also make sure you order online do not expect to be served if you walk up to the window. There is plenty of seating area to eat in the outside, covered pavilion.

She scanned the code and the two items she wanted, the Jumping Lomo tacos and an order of the pork belly were not available on the scan of the QR code. When she was finally able to get the attention of the young man working today (he was on his phone and paying no attention to the window), she said she couldn't find the items through the code. He responded, "what do you want?" She asked for the pork belly and had already opted for the Jumping Lomo via the QR code order and was reluctant to ask for it to be changed to the tacos due to his brusqueness. The food left a lot to be desired. The pork belly was flaccid, no satisfying crispy crunch at all. At $8.99 it was a very small order compared to what we can get at any Mexican or Chinese restaurant back home and a waste of dollars since it ended up in the trash eventually. The Jumping Lomo was okay. Rice was good and with the sauce was pretty yummy. But the chicken was fairly bland and had no seasoning and the pickled onions were over vinegary. Such a shame... It held such promise but didn't deliver.
