It's just got a really good, welcoming atmosphere and they make you feel at home and at ease as you devour their Italian delights. The menu is wide ranging, and the prices differ according to the quality/rarity of the meal you choose - I would highly recommend the salmon, which is cooked in a delicious sauce, mixing together the unlikely combination of brandy, cream and tomato. This at the more pricey end though, setting you back £9.50, but I absolutely think it's worth it for the quality. With a good bar as well, this restaurant ticks all the boxes - round the meal off with an irish coffee and this'll be a meal really worth the money.

It seems like there are new owners, as none of the original staff are here. We stopped by on an early Sunday evening after a long journey from Cheshire and ordered soft drinks and some pasta and pizza. Both were nice enough, and value for money was great. Even the drinks didn't cost an arm and a leg, so we escaped having paid just a few pennies over £20 for both meals. On arrival, our waiter struggled a little to communicate with us, but we figured out that he was trying to tell us that Sunday roast had finished and that only the main menu was available. We were seated at a clean table and presented with a small basket of bread and butter. The table was too small for the main dishes, so some clearing had to be done before we could get stuck in. He didn't tell us about the specials until after we'd decided what to have, so he was a little rusty, despite being older than your average Bristol waiter. All in all, it was a good value dinner at a swanky new restaurant in which we were the only guests at about 5pm on a Sunday afternoon. It will be nice to return and try the wine list, and see what it's like when there are more people and a bit more atmosphere. Will keep you posted!

I walked in here, and I most definitely liked. The walls were stuck with hundreds of postcards, and there were what looked like rattan wine canisters almost completely covering the ceiling. The menu here is so vast - they do pastas, pizzas, fish, chicken, veal, steaks and salads! Something for everyone! Their starter of Calamari Alla Giuliana; squid in a tomato, peppers & chilli sauce was something I liked, but their Calamari Fritti; deep fried squid was rather chewy and not so nice. Their pizzas are good too, they are quite big and you can size them up by ordering any of them as a Familiare, which are 12 to 14 inches! This place continued being my favourite Italian, until one day I ordered the Risotto Vegetariano and was so disappointed when I took my first bite. Weirdly, the rice they used wasn't risotto rice, but just plain rice. I ate my meal in confusion and should have asked them about it but I somehow didn't. Since that day I haven't been back there, because I can't understand why an Italian restaurant would serve me risotto, that wasn't risotto. Still good for pizzas and the rest of the grub though. The menu was vast will a good selection of anti pasti, pastas, pizzas, risotto, fish and meat dishes which made it very difficult to choose!! We shared meat and cheese platters and garlic and tomato pizza breads to start which were really good. For my main I had a crab and cherry tomato pasta dish that was delicious, the pasta was really light and cooked beautifully. A few in the group had steaks and complimented on how well they were cooked. Overall everyone was very complimentary about the food. It was by far the best Italian meal I've had for ages so I really recommend checking this place out
