Cider!

Yummy food in Bath. Was suggested by our tour guide Nicholas and it did not disappoint. Would recommend if you are in the area they were very busy but moved quickly.

Diablo's, Mediterranean salad and garlic bread with mozzarella

Great food, hospitality and service. Enjoyed the Mediterranean salad, garlic bread with cheese, and the Diavolo pizza. Great wine options and cider, very much enjoyed. Orlando is a star!

Great place! Don't let the front view of the restaurant fool you. There's a lot more seating in the back of the restaurant and it's outside. Very nice. Great staff and the food was good. My family really loved their pizzas and I had one of the best bruschettas I have ever had. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of it before I ate most of it. Clean place and they make a great Long Island Ice Tea!

Margherita

Very good. We stopped here on a Sunday night and got some pizza and cheese bread. We tried the Pattitina, Margherita and marinara. A very good place in England to get authentic tasting Italian pizza. Service was a little slow, but it seems to be run by Italians, so keep that in mind.

Colazione Inglese ("English Breakfast") Pizza - Sausage, Mushroom, Bacon, Sun-Dried Tomatoes, Free-Range Egg, Tomatoes, and Mozzarella.

The Real Italian Pizza Company is a small chain (that is they have two locations in Bath and Cardiff). Simply put, they make excellent wood-fired pizza. I had the Colazione Inglese ("English Breakfast") Pizza - Sausage, Mushroom, Bacon, Sun-Dried Tomatoes, Free-Range Egg, Tomatoes, and Mozzarella. It was yummy. It's a great place to go to for lunch, right next to Bath Abbey. Choose the outdoor seating when the weather cooperates.

We stopped in while on a tour of Bath. After walking the city we needed something to eat. This spot was great. Service was good. Food was great. My wife got the margarita pizza and I got the Toto e Peppito. Both very good. The chili oil is great when mixed with the garlic infused olive oil. Beware, the chili oil is spicy even for people who like spice like me (thankfully I was warned by the pleasant server).

Delicious Pizza in a lovely window seat

This place serves very good Pizza. I had the 'Nocina' - spinach, mozzarella, gorgonzola, and walnuts. Hubby has the 'Pollo con Funghi' - chicken, mushroom and mozzarella. They had thin crisp bases made with really delicious dough, the crusts were both light and retained an elastic bite. I enjoyed every last morsel! The service by the waiters was very good. They were friendly, personal and attentive - a pleasant surprise considering this is an informal pizzeria, not a fine restaurant. We popped in on this place to fuel up after spending several weary hours doing 'last minute Christmas shopping'. As it was about 3pm on a Monday many other restaurants and cafés had stopped serving lunch, but this place was still open. Being a large restaurant located just around the corner from the Abbey, this place is pretty busy with shoppers, tourists and families. There is plenty of seating, and despite the numbers in the restaurant we were served quickly and didn't wait long for our lunch. It's a large restaurant in two floors, high ceilings, wooden floors and lots of and natural light due to the original sash windows. The decor is a little shabby around the edges, but I suppose that is expected with the numbers of visitors it gets. For a casual and informal lunch this place is spot on.

Very good pizza outside of Italy. Friendly and attentive staff. Found it randomly by strolling around Bath. Would definately go back if ever in the area

Like any foodie, I researched places to eat prior to my trip to Bath and saw raving reviews from…read moreyelpers for Same Same Different. As we were making our way there leisurely, we came across Nonna's and the "2 meals for £9.95" appealed to us since we were on a budget so we went here instead. We were very happy with this decision. There weren't many people eating so we appreciated the quietness and the attentive service from the wait staff. They were very welcoming, pleasant and timely. My boyfriend and I both ordered a calamari as our app. He in particular was happy to have his own serving of calamari instead of sharing! I guess I don't blame him, I was happy as well :) The calamari was lightly breaded. The dip was very refreshing and paired well with the calamari. For his entree, he ordered the margherita. Our first thought was how big the pizza was! Since it was lunch and we were ordering from a special menu for this deal, we automatically assumed the portion would be small. But it wasn't at all! I didn't try the pizza but it looked very delicious. I ordered the cannelloni with ricotta and spinach instead. It came with three cannellonis. I personally felt there could've been a bit more stuffing, but the cheese and white sauce over top made up for it. It was a delicious meal and I would totally recommend it. It's not full of tourists and on the way to The Circle so after your meal, checking out the Circle would be a nice walk to shred the calories!

According to the owner of the B&B we stayed at, this restaurant is her favourite in Bath. It was a…read moreSunday, and most things in Bath are closed, so we thought we super lucked out that this place is open. Unfortunately, it was terrible luck. Maybe it was me and my love for seafood, as the food we ordered is terribly fishy tasting. We started with a bruschetta with octopus (polpo) and all you can smell is fish when the dish arrived - and of course it's all you can taste. For dinner, I got the seafood linguine in tomato and white wine sauce and my boyfriend got the beef ravioli. The good thing is that the linguini was not short of seafood, with shrimps, prawns, mussels, calamari, and octopus. The terrible part is that it all tasted like old fish. I tried my bf's ravioli and i thought it was pretty good, but he complained about it the entire time, saying it was not that good - and really, anything is probably pretty good compared to my fishy linguine. The service was odd too. We felt rushed despite there was no one in the restaurant, and the server kept trying to get us to order more food and didn't like the fact we didn't order wine (had to drive) or dessert (the starter and mains were too terrible for us to want to eat whatever else they had to offer). The bill was reasonable i suppose, at around 10-15 quid a dish. I wish this wasn't where i ate for the day of my bday.

Ciao Ciao is a great Italian restaurant next to the theatre in Bath…read more The menu was a great surprise of different Italian dishes with seasonal ingredients - beetroot and goat cheese tortellini, pan fried venison loin, butternut squash risotto - to name a few. A fabulous wine list completes the meal and they also have the option of a tasting menu if the a la carte menu has too much choice! We decided to share some pasta dishes rather than having a whole extra pasta course each and boy was I full! But it was totally worth it for the afore mentioned butternut squash and scallop risotto and beetroot goats cheese tortellini. Starters were a little more hit and miss with the calamari being joined by prawns and fish cakes - just more calamari would have satisfied my dad! The arancini was interesting with pâté and a quails egg in the middle, served with a Parmesan sauce it looked like a large scotch egg! For mains we stuck to red meat - the pan fried venison loin, the beef fillet and the special venison stew with polenta. These were washed down with a tannic Barolo - a magnum (we do drink a lot, but there were six of us!) - which went amazingly well with the venison. For dessert I requested a spoon - to help myself to everyone else's! Liz had the tiramisu - beautifully presented with flowers on top, and Simon & Sarah went for the chocolate and pear tart. This was more like a brownie with half pear pieces set in it. Coffee and some lovely and smooth ages grappa finished off the meal. We were also offered some complimentary homemade limoncello before we left. We enjoyed ourselves for this meal - the only negative was that the staff weren't so attentive - several times we had to wave to order or request more drinks or the bill, which should have been anticipated! But in general we were satisfied and those who live in the area will be back again!

Funny and friendly staff, gorgeous space, and, most importanly, amazing food and wine. My husband's choice to do the tasting menu meant we were there for hours. The staff kept bringing me surprise treats to keep me entertained as he worked through the courses. I don't know if all the desserts we ate were part of the tasting menu or just extras thrown in but each one we tried was better than the last. At the end of the evening the waiter even got out his phone to show us how to wander back to our hotel. They handle nearby theater traffic so it may be a good idea to book in advance.
