I ended up ordering the La Bella Vita pizza which had mozzarella, pepperoni sausage, Italian salame, torn chicken breast, and bacon. It was delicious and the cheese was perfect and not too cheesy. The sauce on the pizza had a great taste that put it over the top, amazing. I paired it well with my Aperol Spritz and took in the views while eating. Our waitress was great and recommended some must see locations while we were in town. She was great. If I ever come back to Bath, I will definitely stop by again because there were some other menu items that caught my eye and plus, the service was great.

Since then, the brand has had a makeover; the service was friendly, the atmosphere was nice, the furniture has been updated (and is comfortable - take note, PizzaExpress) and the food is actually really rather nice. I had a generous, pleasant glass of Primitivo and paid just £13 for my meal thanks to a 25% off voucher. We will go back again to double-check its new vibe, and to try its pasta options. We love Carluccio's, but are often disappointed with the watery tomato sauce. I'm assured by the Ask waiter that the sauce here is thick enough to feel like a proper sauce, so that's what I'll order next time!
