My experience with Don Bailey Flooring was amazing from start to finish. Karen Waite was so easy to work with and had so much patience with us when making the right choice of floor for our loft/apartment. She worked with our budget and time frame and the fitters were experienced and did an excellent job. We are thrilled with the end result. I would not hesitate to recommend them to family and friends. We had previous quotes but Don Bailey was the only company that would work with us on price so I feel we got great value for our money. Thank you Don Bailey Flooring. read more

Great personality and got us exactly the type of carpet we were looking for on a super short notice - less than a four hour turnaround. The carpet quality was amazing and was perfectly clean. Overall, Don Bailey flooring was phenomenal and I really appreciated the quality and service. It is rare to find a place like this in this day and age. read more

Installed "luxury vinyl planking" in our living room and kitchen last July. After about 3 or 4 months we started to notice a crack in one of the planks, and in another area of the living room, the seams between the planks seem to be warped upwards... tried to contact the Sales Person without any success. After leaving a message through their website, the sales person called us and tried to set up an appointment so he can come by and take a look at the problems in early Nov. However, there's always an excuse of pushing off the appointment to "next week", then we would not hear from him for two weeks before he called again and tried to set up something for " next week"............And, here we are now May, 2020, in the middle of the pandemic.... and stuck with crappy floor. read more

After shopping for carpeting for my new home in Delray Beach I was shocked at the pricing and the lack of service I was receiving in the buying process. I went down to Don Bailey flooring on Biscayne Boulevard and found a beautiful piece of carpeting for my home at a great price with superior quality. Mr. Bailey attended to every detail. It was installed today by one of Don Bailey's mechanics. Angel and his crew could not have done anything more for us or more professional of an installation. His attention to every single detail amazed me . After the entire job was cleaned up by Angel and his crew it looked like a show room. Thank you so much Don Bailey carpeting. You certainly exceeded my expectations triple fold... read more

I recently made a large flooring purchase from Don Bailey flooring on Biscayne Blvd. Sales superstar Elisa Carrozza was not just a gem but the crown jewel for a glittering 5 star experience! She gathered all the information with fastidious follow up communications to locate enough tile and complete the transaction with high polish. She made me feel like family and genuinely interested in meeting my needs! Thank you! read more

I went with Don Bailey to re floor my entire house based on the great reviews that I read online. However my experience has been troublesome and I'd like to warn potential clients of how they operate: They do not install floors. They send you to a third party, making it seem that its them but in reality you are left dealing with an external company who asks for complete payment even when the project is not finished. This is what happened: Their installer came into my home to take measurements three times and now that the project is close to completion, they realized they are missing a couple of step downs. I asked for the product to be purchased from Don Bailey, but their installer wants to source the material elsewhere to close the project and get paid this week. When I called Don Bailey's project manager to ask if this is normal or how to proceed, Im told that the project is actually being handled entirely by the installer and that I should deal with him directly, completely washing their hands even though they were the ones that put everything together and received payment for both material and the installer. After a lot of fighting, i was able to get the floor i wanted. But their business model allows them to take no responsibility. Buyer beware read more

I purchased carpeting from Don Bailey in the past and have been completely satisfied, however my latest purchasing experience placed me in the incompetent hands of Joseph Prizzi "flooring specialist". This man belongs in a new business - one with no customer interaction and intelligence is completely optional. Go elsewhere read more

Joe Prizzi at Don bailey - fantastic guy to work with. No bullsht. After checking around, prices seemed fair and consistent. Not cheap but average - but does the job right. Had all the material beforehand instead of having to order it. He Worked on a tight schedule and was getting me updates during Christmas and New Years when most ppl aren't working. Did they job in one day and filled out the relevant data with the city. Overall, happy with this guy in particular. Would work with him again. read more

Simply the best! I got quotes from many flooring companies but I chose Don Baileys because of their great customer service, big selection of flooring and reasonable prices. I had to replace the old laminate to luxury waterproof vinyl in my condo in Miami Beach. Joe, was amazing, always available, even on weekends I was able to reach him, he picked up his phone and answered all my text messages right away. Karen helped with the permit and did an amazing job too. The installers Nelson and his partner were the best, very efficient and performed great quality job. Everything went smoothly and now I have gorgeous floor in my condo. I can't be happier and highly recommend this flooring company. read more

I stopped in here looking for hardwood options for my Midtown Miami condo. On an afternoon weekday, the place was virtually dead. A guy I believe to be Don Bailey himself was seated at a desk like a Dickensian grump. I told him what I was looking for (a luxurious hardwood in a neutral tone), and he kept trying to push me toward laminate--which I did not want! He was all, "We don't have what you're looking for!" which seemed just very unhelpful. The small hardwood selection they DID have was the same every other hardwood seller in the area has. I asked him about some higher-end options, and he told me he what I saw was what he could help me with. High-tailed it out of there and went to Catalfamo in Ft. Lauderdale instead. A friendlier welcome and a little more interest in my project would have been appreciated. After all, I had a chunk of cash to drop! read more

Great company for flooring. We got our 3 bedrooms redone by them with hardwood laminate and couldn't be more happy. They were very nicely priced, did the job on time and on budget and they were clean and professional. Not much amusing antidotes I can add about flooring except that the delivery guy who dropped off the materials two days prior to installation (so the flooring adjusted to our house) drove up in the big truck with their trademark naked Don Bailey on the side. We joked about how much crap he must get driving the truck. I dealt with Deb Hinson there and she was a joy to work with. Her husband Al came out and measured and showed us our options, real professional. Highly recommend them. read more

Last may, we purchased vinyl plank flooring for my home and immediately called them because the floor was cracking. They promised to come out and no one has helped us or even called us back. They told me I had over 25 years on this product and can't even get them to answer my calls, texts or emails. Someone please help us over 8500.00 and look at our results. Please make sure you think twice before coming to this company. read more

I recently bought my first place-- a 740 square foot condo in Hollywood. I'm super psyched about it but who knew that such a small space was going to require so many decisions and cost so much money?! I met with Don Bailey himself today to talk about flooring. After a long day at work, Don was an absolute gem. His soft spoken voice and ability to work through every step of the way was wonderful. He refused to sell me anything that was of low quality and steered me towards options of quality and value. I ended up rummaging through their "scraps" and finding the perfect carpet for the bedroom in new place. I also ended up getting 12mm laminate for the living area at an excellent rate. I left the Miami store feeling confident and excited about my new place. Also, he made sure to walk me out of the storefront and gave me excellent directions to the turnpike. Out of all my first time homebuyer experiences, this was by far the best. I'll update my review again once everything is installed. But until then, only rave reviews from me about Don Bailey Carpet and Flooring! read more

I am tardy (by a few months!) in writing this review....but the message is steadfast. Don Bailey Flooring is fantastic, especially if Karen W. is your point-person. I have had the pleasure of working with Karen on three projects since fall of 2018. In each instance, I gave her the impossible -- I selected a limited availability item and a super tight time-frame for delivery and installation. She hit home-runs each time. I told her that it was so refreshing to finally meet someone who was in the Business of Providing Solutions, not just selling a product. Karen is super high-touch, she would check-in multiple times a day to provide proactive updates, and during installation, she would come herself to ensure quality compliance. Prior to beginning any work, she walked me through what to expect, as well as what my alternatives were that I may or may not have considered on my own. The latter was particularly appealing to me, because it showed that Karen could put my interests first and educate me in what other options were available to me. To add icing to the cake, I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Don Bailey, Sr. himself! Wow is he funny (and obviously wicked smart!)!! He even gave me a copy of his biography, which was a great read! In conclusion, it was a pleasure working with Karen, and I would do so again in a heartbeat. Also, I proudly refer Don Bailey Flooring to any of my friends or colleagues that are even thinking about flooring needs. read more

I would like to give Elisa Carrozza and Don Bailey Flooring my highest recommendation. I am an area Realtor for the past 33 years and was listing a home that was in serious need of flooring. A colleague recommended Elisa so I called & she responded quickly to my inquiry. The property was measured the next day. Elisa provided options which I then passed on to my client. My client did her own research and found that Don Bailey was able to provide better quality at a lower price then any of the other local flooring companies. Most importantly, once my client made her selection Elisa was able to schedule the installation within the very short time frame that we had to work with. As a result, The listing sold quickly..Elisa's product knowledge and her personal touch were greatly appreciated and I will surely recommend her and Don Bailey every time one of my clients needs their flooring needs addressed. Elisa is an excellent asset to your organization and I wouldn't want to work with anyone else... Thanks for everything! J. Golden Keller Williams Realty Aventura, Florida read more

I am extremely happy that my interior designer steered me towards Don Bailey Flooring. I was looking for a high quality carpet to place in two bedrooms in an apartment and had a limited budget. I arrived equipped with a $35 printout of a measure that I'd had done through Home Depot and Gus walked me through all of my options. After we found a couple he called to make sure that they had enough in stock (I wanted quick installation) and then informed me that he'd send his guys out to measure the next morning. I did not understand why as I already had a measure and he explained that since it was limited stock that we had to make absolutely sure that there was enough. They measurers (super polite and professional) showed up the next day with their tape measures -- and unlike Mr. Home Depot with his fancy laser/computer measurements they quickly ascertained that H.D. had not calculated an extremely large walk-in closet. That changed everything. There was not enough of the carpet in stock for a quick install but Gus called all of the other stores and found enough to do the closet. This was all on Tuesday and the carpet was installed on Friday morning. In addition Gus was pro-active and called the building manager in order to supply all necessary licenses and insurance BEFORE we had even finished the deal. There was, of course, a problem with the management office and it was solved graciously and quickly. This saved huge amounts of time and stress on all sides. The guys showed up to install the carpet on time and were extremely polite and professional. I continuously expected something to go wrong but it didn't. They were out a couple of hours later and left the place super clean. These are my "go-to" guys now for flooring. I'm already looking forward to the next project! Gus, you are a trooper! Thank you. m. read more

I am absolutely disgusted with this company. They installed vinyl plank flooring in my establishment over the Thanksgiving break in 2013. Initially, this company gave me problems by trying to overcharge me for the installation. Not only did they try to charge me 50% more than the original agreed on price, they failed to install the appropriate vinyl base around the perimeter. Now, six months later, the floor is a complete mess. The planks are starting to peel and come loose from the adhesive. There are areas where the pieces are completely loose and just floating in their spot. The edges of the pieces have started to curl and shrink, causing gaps in the areas between the planks where there should be none. We have a constant flow of customers that encounter this mess on a daily basis. Not only is it embarrassing, it is dangerous for people to walk on. Many pieces are so high off the ground they cause people to trip, creating an unsafe environment for our customers. Just a few months ago, installers were coming in to patch problem areas in random spots. Now, the floor is unusable. This is unacceptable business practice when it is your business' ONLY service. This is what you do. This is ALL you do. And you can't even get it right? Not even the second, third, fourth and countless other times? Bonus pictures: http://imgur.com/a/XqMda AVOID DON BAILEY FLOORING AT ALL COSTS!!
