Came for lunch on 2/13/26 and everything was great as usual. Service was great, friendly staff, delicious food. We always order the Don Antonio's house special which comes with chile relleno, hard shell taco and enchilada, rice and beans. My daughter liked the asada quesadilla. Salsa is spicy for us but when mixed with their mild salsa, then it's perfect! Always good times at DA's! Ambiance is relaxing.

We showed up as a large group and were quickly seated, the staff were very friendly and our server was AMAZING! Super friendly. We got to sit outside and it was a great with the heaters on. I didn't get to venture inside but I enjoyed the vibe here. I put 4 stars because the food was good but not great, definitely some better options in the area but nonetheless, will probably be back when I'm looking for a quick and casual dinner

Don Antonio's did an amazing job again just like everytime I've been here! Came here for cinco de mayo. We were easily sat since we came when the restaurant first opened and was able to get a great spot outside. The food here is always amazing and the portions are great! Definitely recommend!

Went here sometime ago and I really like their food. It gets crowded here and I would say the only downside is their parking. They don't have valet and if you want to park close, you need to be lucky to find a space on Pico Blvd. in the evening. Anyways, the food... chips and salsa (mild) was yummy. Guacamole was delicious and fresh. I ordered a bean and cheese burrito and it was big so I couldn't finish it. The cheese they use in the burrito I think was that finely shredded cheddar. It was delicious. My fiance had DA's House Special. I sampled a bite of his food and everything was really delicious.

Couldn't forget my long time favorite, the shrimp taco with soft corn tortilla, avocado, and cabbage. 10/10 with the chipotle sauce. I think about her all the time. Today was a good day. Honorable mentions to the fresh hot chips and homemade salsa. Chile rellano and enchiladas also delicious. Amazing service as always! Love the cave room!

The food here is just like poop.

Beware of this place and next door Mexican restauranta. Both of these places have been closed for health code violations bugs infestation in the past. I went back after they were closed and there was no changes made to be better. Your better off going to Taco Bell or Del Taco or Better yet Jack In The Box. AND THAT'S NOT SAYING MUCH AT ALL.

First of all, I have to give this place a high rating just on service alone. It was one of the best customer service experiences I've had in a long time. They anticipated our needs before we knew we had them. Bravo. Now, the food: Usually the chicken in dishes is so dry that I rarely get it. One I our party got a chicken enchilada and I had no idea a restaurant could nail good chicken anymore. So tasty. The verde sauce was delicious. We were told this was the place to get chile rellenos. For us, it was okay but the person in our group said it wasn't quite up to the usual level but I would try it again. Everything else was delicious that we tried. We enjoyed taking the two salsas, the one with your chips, and combining. It was the perfect combo. Enjoy

Looking for Mexican food, we wandered in by chance... and discovered a little gem with BIG flavor and even BIGGER drinks . From the moment we stepped inside, a gracious host welcomed us with genuine warmth and seated us right away. As we settled in, admiring the vibrant décor and cozy atmosphere, a basket of fresh chips and salsa arrived--on the house, with unlimited refills. A very promising start. We kicked things off with Sangrias, and let me tell you... wow. These weren't just drinks--they were events. Huge, gorgeous, and bursting with flavor. For our main course, we went traditional classic with Burritos . Each one came packed with tender, well-seasoned meat and smothered in rich red sauce. Every bite was comfort and joy rolled into one. Yum yum This is the kind of place that sneaks up on you--in the best way. The kind you visit once and instantly know you'll be back. And trust me... we will be back

Good Ol Don Antonio always on deck when needed. :) I was in the area for work and needed food. I knew if I had time this would be my stop. Ate at the patio on a beautiful Wednesday afternoon it was overly full since it was noon. My server brought me my water and chips and I was ready to order my combo meal of 1 crunchy taco and 1 enchilada. Didn't fail me always so good. Didn't have time for drinks this time but I'll catch you on the rebound. Thank you!

This is my first time at this restaurant. I love the old Mexican ambience. We had our food on the patio it was about 18 of us. Service was a little slow but the servers were very pleasant. I ordered The Carnitas and it was just really horrible, beans rice were good. The only reason I'm giving this Restuarant a three rating is the Cadillac margaritas were excellent. I had the chicken quesadilla for an appetiser and it was excellent. The tortilla was very good. The rest of my Party ordered the fajitas and they were very very good chicken and steak fajitas. Overall, it was a good experience. I will come back to this restaurant but they definitely need to take the Carnitas off the menu.

We kicked things off with the queso fundido, and wow, it was absolutely delicious! Rich, melty, and packed with flavor, it was the perfect way to start the evening. For my entrée, I ordered the cochinita pibil, which was incredibly tender and saucy in the best way. My husband ordered the short rib, and it was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. On the side, we shared the papas bravas and esquite, both of which complemented our dishes perfectly. The drinks truly elevated the night. My husband and I both love mezcal, and Kateen delivered. I ordered the Valentine's Day "Zona Romántica," which featured mezcal and wine almost like a sangria, but completely unique and beautifully balanced. My husband had the "Gypsy Fever," also mezcal-based, and it was smoky, smooth, and refreshing. Between the food, cocktails, and ambiance, it made for such a romantic and memorable evening. We'll absolutely be back!!

This time, we decided to give it another shot since it has so many good reviews, and I'm glad we did. The ambiance was much better, with nice Tulum-style vibes and music that really set the mood. From the moment we walked in, service was great. We were greeted and seated right away thanks to our reservation. Our waitress, Brenda, was friendly, attentive, and super helpful in explaining the menu and recommending drinks. She checked in often and made sure everything came out quickly. The food was good overall, though the menu is a bit limited if you don't eat meat or seafood. I was especially looking forward to the fish tacos, but it seems like they've been removed from the menu. One thing I really appreciated was the mocktail options. Perfect if you're not drinking but still want something fun. The Wes Colada is a great pick if you like piña colada type drinks, though it is on the sweeter side. The michelada was also really well done, with a nice balance of savory and sour. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this spot for a date night or a girls' night out.
