Chicken katsu rice bowl Beef gyoza, spring rolls and spicy soy garlic chicken bowl

Amazing service and food was absolutely amazing!! Drinks are top notch! Atmosphere is very Japanese and cute with all the cartoons and anime decorations.

I have been seeing Domoishi all around Hampton roads. So I had to try it, I got the ramen noodles with the Tonkotsu base (spicy) with pork belly's. I was not a fan of the Tonkotsu base it was kinda bland, the pork belly's was good could be better if they were fresh , the eggs were nice and sweet. I just discover that I am not a fan of corn and edamame together which was unfortunate because it was in my ramen. The atmosphere was ok, sitting is tight and I wish they would wipe down the tables every time someone leaves because my table sure was sticky.

The staff here always greet me when I walk in. Very personable. I always get the same order and it is usually dependably satisfactory. I really like the Original Soy Garlic Wings. I came here after the location near me began to disappoint last year. After 3 less than stellar orders elsewhere I came to try out this location. The chicken is good. I can count on it. . PEACH BERRY TEA is DELICIOUS! It is the only beverage I've ever ordered at this location. Perfect every time, except that one time. I didn't realize until I was too far away that's at the flavor I was tasting was rose. Feel free to order me a peach berry tea no boba :-)

I am on search for the best Poke in Hampton Roads. I heard so many good things about Domoishi from my coworker and yelp, and I've been wanting to go there since. While we are still waiting for their Suffolk location to open, I went to their Princess Anne location. Domoishi offers ramen, poke bowls, korean wings, and milk tea. It's pretty much a one stop shop for the FAD foods nowadays. Coming in to the restaurant, I was quite confused if I should order my bowl or pay first. At Domoishi, you have to pay for your bowls first before they make it. Which makes sense because they offer other entrees other than poke. We ordered a shrimp medium poke bowl and a tuna/salmon/shrimp poke bowl. As they were making our bowls, I noticed that there were not a lot of toppings for the bowls. I also noticed that they do not mix the proteins with sauces. They put the sauces on top once all the your bowl is ready. As for the taste, I think I had better poke bowl than theirs. Maybe it was because I wasn't enjoying the taste and the texture of the crab meat. Their crab meat has a rubbery and rough texture. Because of that I really didn't enjoy my bowl. Since there's not a lot of toppings, my bowl tasted plain. The mango smoothie was good though. It was sweet and delicious. The staff was nice and was very helpful. I became the annoying customer who wants to try every single sauces they have and they were able to help me out in picking the right sauces. If you like to go to restaurants who offers everything and are undecided on what you are getting, this might be the place for you. As for me, I think I will stay away from OneStop restaurants in the future when it comes to Poke. However, I might wait until their Suffolk location to open so I can try their wings and maybe their Ramen.

Look at how huge this is!!! Soo good.

Gonna move it up to 5 stars because for the price, the amount of food in their 2 protein poke bowl is wonderful and better than some other places where their large is the size of a small. I think Domoishi gets a bad rep because it is a chain, but their karaage chicken and their poke bowls are very yummy. I like this location the best because, well, it's closest to me and Target and I have yet to be disappointed by them! I love to get chicken and shrimp or shrimp and spicy salmon and load up the toppings, as you can see in my picture! There is so many you can get on it (mango, red onion, edemame, corn, krab salad etc.) They also have a variety of sauces ans i try a different one every time. The karaage chicken is my new find there and I could eat 2 boxes of those. The first time I ordered it I was surprised with the amount you are given. I'm salivating. Maybe I go for lunch tomorrow. Hmmm...

It's been my third go to domoishi. The first time i came here I tried the poke (pick 2) and their milk tea. It was ok. The poke was a 2 on my scale.. it's hard to beat the taste of poke, especially if I was to compare it to my poke making skills. My husband and I are from hawaii.. so we haven't found something that beats our taste. Since we make it at home quite often. The poke, wasn't something to rave about.. it's a lot of fillers and it lacked sea salt. Lesson learned.. The boba tea was meh. It was room temperature.. wished it was cold and had more sugar. I went to try the chicken wings but since it was sometime after the grand opening they told me it wasn't available at this time. The second time... I came to try their ramen.. its a fast casual type of restaurant so I understood not to have to high of expectation... the broth was good the noodles was cooked fine but the toppings was lacking. The Ramen Bowl wasn't my favorite but it did the job and filled my cravings. I'd give it a 3 But if anyone was to come here.. I'd recommend the chicken wings and drums. It's the usual soy garlic or spicy garlic chicken wings, crunchy and flavorful. The chicken isn't huge and overly breaded. it's flaky and worth it. Third time: Came through to pick up my order of Korean Wings. It took them 20 min to have it ready for me. We took it hope and there was nothing to complain about. Due to covid they only do take out and I recommend calling in advanced to order. They are clean and they put tables for self ordering. It prevents customers coming near the kitchen and their food station. No one can dine in.But they are taking precautions to keep everyone satisfied and reassured.

Order Korean Style Wings Tokyo Pork katsu rice bowl Thai Style Sesame Chicken Bowl

I tried Domoishi for the first time about a month ago, first time I walked in after a long day at work and asked the associate what was good. She recommended the wings. I ordered the Katsu rice bowl, Thai sesame chicken and wings. Walking I. It took less than 10 minutes. We liked it so much that we got it again two days later. I ordered for pick-up twice since and the food was ready and waiting upon arrival. Each visit has been a great experience. The staff is great. Highly recommend

Delicious and the sauce is addictive

Wow... I got the Korean style wings... freaking insanely good! Crispy, spicy, so much flavor!! Absolutely delicious! The Gyoza was crispy and tender and the sauce... perhaps laced with crack?? KIDDING!!! It's so amazing I wanted to drink the dipping sauce. My Poke bowl was beyond fresh... the tuna chunks were big and fresh, the salmon was spicy and the greens were bright. Absolutely 100 out of 100

I was craving chicken wings but bonchon is a little too far. This is my second time eating from here. I ordered over the phone and unlike bonchon, they promised 10-15 minutes (bonchon take at least 30). Upon arrival, I have noticed they set up tables by the door with card swipe machine and a little pad for customers to order without approaching employees, which is neccessary to protect all for time being. And they won't accepting cash due to covid 19 either. As I paid with my card, employee grabbed a prepackaged bag to be then off I went. Chicken was good but I thought it had more Chinese general tsao flavor to it than Korean. It was good enough for me since I didn't want to drive all the way to downtown Norfolk.

We finally got around to trying this place and it didn't disappoint! The place was well lit, a bit modern, and they had a free detox water at the end of the counter. We sat at a booth/table that was against the wall. We started our order with fried gyoza, which was very hot but delicious. I was having a very difficult time deciding if I wanted ramen or poke, because they both sounded great. But I decided to share my boyfriends chicken with him. He chose all soy garlic. When it comes to taste, and texture: Domoishi beats Bonchon. But the size is so small. But for someone like me that doesn't eat much, it was perfectly portioned. Lastly, the lychee smoothie was the bomb. It tasted exactly like the lychee jelly cups I would eat growing up. I added tapioca pearls to it, and the pearls were cooked perfectly. I definitely want to come back to try the ramen and poke though! And even the almond cream frap!

I ordered the spicy umami miso ramen with tofu, karaage, and a soft-boiled egg, and it was absolutely delicious--rich, comforting, and full of flavor. I'll admit I went a little overboard with the add-ons, but I was just too excited and couldn't resist. It's a hidden gem tucked into a shopping center and easy to miss from the main road, but there's plenty of parking and once you're inside it's much more spacious than it looks. The staff were friendly, service was quick, and everything came out fresh. Prices were very reasonable too, especially for the portion sizes and quality. There's also a wide menu beyond ramen, so I'm looking forward to coming back and trying more. Before leaving, I grabbed a brown sugar boba milk tea too. I was already full, so I saved it for later--but even then, it was still really good. Overall, a great first experience--I'll definitely be returning!

While working at a conference at the VA Convention Center, some colleagues requested I come here…read morewith them for lunch, they said they had been before and it was really good. When we got there, at lunchtime on a weekday, they were packed, but there were a few seats open at a hightop, which we took. Service was great and attentive, as well as helpful as she offered great suggestions and explained how various dishes were made. I tried a cup of their red bean and ham soup (it was the soup du jour) as well as their open face chicken salad sandwich and both were very good. They were both made fresh, in-house with fresh ingredients. Flavors were great too. I really liked the touch of having Dijon mustard on the chicken salad sandwich. There were so many great things on the menu that I would definitely return and try more!

I'm a chef myself and travel to different restaurants regularly, so I try to be understanding. That said, the service we experienced yesterday at Stock Pot was unfortunately some of the worst I've had in quite a while. We sat outside, and it honestly felt like we were being deliberately ignored. The restaurant wasn't busy, yet we had to wait long stretches just to get basic things. At one point near the end of our meal, we asked for a box and our check. Instead of bringing it over, the waitresses stood around talking with other waitresses, while we continued to wait. After sitting there for quite a while, we eventually had to ask for the check and box, a second time. Throughout the meal the service was inconsistent. We had three different waitresses checking on us, but were left to sit for about 30 minutes alone at one point, and it took almost 20 to have our order taken, once we ordered, we had to request our appetizer again, after waiting another 20 or so minutes. Upon asking, again, we found out they were out of part of the appetizer we ordered. After that it came out quick. The food, however, was excellent and definitely the highlight of the experience. That's why this review is disappointing to write -- the kitchen is clearly doing a great job. I just hope the service side improves, because it didn't match the quality of the food.

I had the Ebi (shrimp) curry ramen. The curry was very flavorful but different than both Jamaican and Indian curries. I don't like that they keep the tails on the shrimp even though it's in the ramen. I also had salmon rice balls as well as Shumai. The shumai was good and so were the rice balls, but never having had rice balls, they weren't what I was expecting. I expected them to have meat in them but it was just rice with salmon flavored powder. We also added hot green tea to our meal. While not anything special, I do like to end my meal this way. The service was pretty good but we didn't like that our waitress stood next to our table from the moment we sat down. We felt pressured to hurry up and order, and it just made things awkward. She was very attentive though. This restaurant is your typical local Japanese style restaurant. Very authentic in its feel and decor - nothing fancy, basic service. But if you like more authentic type dishes vs chain restaurants, I think this is a place to try! Oh, I will also add this place was alot less expensive than places like Domoishi! I give it a 3 star because I feel neutral about it - not because anything was super wrong about it!
