Poke Bowl Pick 2 Spring Roll Lychee Rose Green Tea
    Jessica T.

The food was pretty good and there was quite a bit of food too. It's about $12.95 for a pick 2 bowl and $3 for the spring rolls. Not bad prices. It also was a cutesy place for photos and a quick bite.

My regular ramen place was closed, and I REALLY had a craving, so I decided to go off-script and try out Domoishi. I'm not generally crazy about chain places, but I'd give it a solid 3 stars. The delivery was fast, and really well packaged. The shrimp tempura was pretty tasty, and the ramen was not bad. The egg was well done. The broth was really pretty thin and didn't have that rich umami flavor of other places, and the noodles were not the greatest in terms of texture. But it was passable for a ramen craving and was affordable (coming in under $30 for all of that and delivery/tip).

I just moved here and across this place. I've never had poke bowl so I was interested and the cleanliness of the place caught my eye. There is a variety of things on their menu, noodles, rice bowls, boba!!! I will definitely be coming back. The portions are LARGE! The food was soo good and flavorful. I definitely recommend.

Muddy Mango with Cream Poke Bowl Pick 2 Takoyaki
    Shen M.

I ordered to-go: 1. Build my own poke bowl: sushi rice, salmon, spicy tuna, crab salad, nori sesame, cucumber, mango, citrus mango & eel sauce. It was really good. Only thing I did not like is I think they put too much sauce for my standard. 2. Takoyaki! I have been craving for this for years. Their takoyaki was decent, good for my taste buds, I could cry. Them balls are soft and piece of octopus in the middle plus their sauce 3. I was craving mango at the time so I got their muddy mango with cream and I added boba! It was okay. I did not like the drink's texture tho. (wings in the photo are not bought from them)

Got in and out of this place is very quickly. I didn't have to speak to anyone. They have a self ordering kiosk that you could use instead of waiting in line. I ordered, paid, then received my order very quickly. Everything was right and most importantly delicious. This place has some interesting boba and flavored teas. I tried the fantasy berry tea, it was made fresh right when I ordered it! and it was good! They have seating inside and also outside. Perfect for a quick lunch run if your craving Asian fusion, and I will be coming back.

Shrimp, tofu & spicy tuna poke

We stopped here for the first time for supper to try their poke. Trying to keep a healthy diet as we have both gained weight during this lockdown SOooo we're doing this together. I got the brown rice base with 3 proteins of shrimp, tofu and spicy tuna. Toppings were seaweed salad, Nori sesame , fish egg (such a small amount so not really worth it), Roasted seaweed and the sauce was 2 of the spicy poke. Hubby got brown rice with 2 proteins of tuna and spicy tuna with all of the toppings excluding avocado as that cost extra. He got 3 spicy poke sauces. His cost less than mine! We both felt full and ready for our cocktails! at home

    Poke Bowl Pick 3

Some of my coworkers got together and we did a to go order for lunch. Although I didn't pick up the order my coworker said there were no delays. I chose the pick 3 bowl and did shrimp, salmon and tofu. Forewarning the tofu is served raw, I know me and another coworker had assumed it was done like some other poke bowl establishments in the area. All my ingredients were super fresh and I especially liked the mango I added. I chose the mango sauce and the house poke sauce - both were a great combination. The meal was very filling and all for around 20 bucks. Not bad since it was so filling and could've easily been split for two smaller meals... I ate it all though lol. Since it was a to go order I can't comment on the ambiance but in the future I'd like to dine inside so I could have a better more rounded review. As of now 5 stars based on this experience alone.

I got food poisoning from the poke bowl. The worst I have ever felt in 30 years. I got the tuna and the salmon with spring mix. Never again

I had the salmon poke and it was good. The fish seemed to be fresh and there was a decent amount of options as to what you wanted added in.

For the selections, we had pan-fried pork gyoza and I had chicken Katsudon for my entree (Sophia had her usual, chicken Katsu Ramen). Everything delivered was on point. Well-cooked and tasted great. I do wish I could add more, but when you eat regular dishes, there's nothing more to say. Thank you again Tanpopo Ramen for making Sophia and myself satisfied. Keep it up :)

Ive never had a good ramen egg either, sometimes they're just too egg-y or mucus like for lack of a better descriptor, I actually ate this ramen egg. It didnt taste like egg and had a very nice jello like texture, will be going back next time im in the area to try the katsu . Service was also very prompt & attentive. I was sat right away, I had my food within 10 minutes even though the place was a little busy since it was dinner time on a Saturday night, and the server was very nice. **Ramen excluded the nori**

I ordered the Kake Udon for me and two orders of steamed gyoza for my kiddo. I gotta say, I was surprised when the order arrived. The udon noodles were paper thin compared to what I'm used to. The fried tofu was so hard it was basically inedible, and the broth - well, it had little to no flavor. To top it off, my kiddo took a bite of one dumpling and then spit it out. This child DESTROYS dumplings, so I asked him what happened -- he said "who puts corn and carrots in a gyoza dumpling?!?" and I can't say I disagree with him. Pork and cabbage filling - duh! Overall, totally not our jam and we probably won't revisit it. I guess the reviews are based more on folks who haven't experienced true Japanese cooking? I don't know, but I'm pretty sure my Japanese host mother would have given it no stars.

Today I got the seafood ramen with mussels, clams and a couple of pieces of imitation crab sticks. The broth was warm and tasty, and spicy after adding generous spoonfuls of the chili oil, a must-add for cold, wet weather. I also snuck some bites of my husband's katsu-don and was a little jealous of how good it was. Next time I will get the katsu ramen bowl and have the best of both worlds. We also got sashimi and crab Rangoon for appetizers which everyone enjoyed. And my lychee ice tea was sooo good. It's a bit sweet but the lychee flavor was amazing and I can't wait to try the other flavors. Overall a great experience, especially after a day of traveling in chilly weather. Cashier was nice and courteous, said hello and goodbye, and checked out my items quickly. A very sweet encounter. They have shopping baskets! A very nice touch to such a small store. Store is small but well organized- a lot of merchandise varying from food products to glassware, even origami papers and little snacks that are hard to find elsewhere. Rice, seasonings, curry packs, fish, kimchi, sweets, ice creams, drinks, chopsticks, little gifts for all the ones you love. It's got everything wrapped up in a little store. No noticeable loud music- if there was music, it was very quiet and ambient. This store has a relaxed environment. I didn't feel rushed by staff (only one visible staff member) to hurry up and get out or anything. Crowd rating: When first entering the store, there was one other customer already checking out. The whole time I was in there (for some 20 minutes) I was the only customer. Not a popular spot just yet but I'm sure it'll catch the attention it deserves. Prices posted! All prices are either on the shelf or on the item itself. Not one of those sketchy places where prices are unknown- very reassuring knowing how much I'm about to spend. Cheap! Good prices! I go to a few of these every now and then and by far, for the selection and service, these prices are a steal! I got three things here that wouldn't have been available at one store, let alone for the price I got. I spent 12 dollars. Anywhere else, it would most likely be closer to 20-25. Summary: Want a beautifully quiet hole-in-the-wall comfortable store to buy some high quality choice Asian food Mart items? This place is a must! Please check it out- truly going on my text thread of favourite stores like this. :)

The little salad bar had been replenished and looked fresh, and the sauce bar was clean and organized as well. I've been to hotpot and kbbq places before, but the server explained how they work well and patiently. We ordered the hotpot portions first, from a really complete menu. I appreciate that each person gets their own little pot of broth that were delivered to the table by the time we got back from the sauce bar. The little induction burners kept the broth at the right temperature so cook, and were easy to use. Portions were reasonably sized, and the server checked often enough that we could add anything we needed. The meat and seafood was fresh, and the vegetables were excellent. I got ramen noodles too, but they have udon and rice as well. After the hotpot, we ordered a few things for the bbq built into the tabletop. We ordered beef and pork spicy bulgogi, which were tender and nicely sliced. Again, they had dozens of options. I only wish the lettuce we ordered with the bbq was more appropriate for kbbq. You can't really wrap meat in romaine. Service was excellent- food came out quickly, and empty plates got taken away just as fast. Meats were on separate plates from veg and dumplings, so there was no cross contamination. This was a good, fun lunch, on the pricy side at $23/person, but absolutely worth a return trip.
