I ordered the large 7 toppings pizza deal with a Caesar salad to go from Domino's. Overall, I would give my experience a 5 out of 10 because when I placed my order for my pizza, I made sure to include add extra cheese to make it gooier than normal, but they did not do that, so I did not get the gooeyness that I wanted. Additionally, the salad was also a letdown because, upon receiving it, the lettuce was brown and did not appear fresh. I called Domino's to report the problem. Thankfully, there was a manager on duty who provided excellent customer service, corrected the issue, and sent a new salad that looked and tasted significantly better. Unfortunately, it took some time for the new salad to arrive, so by the time it arrived, I had already eaten the pizza and had to eat the salad separately, which was a bit inconvenient. Although I appreciated Domino's prompt correction of the problem, I would like to see the food match the service. If Domino's paid closer attention to food preparation and quality, the overall dining experience would be significantly better. read more

ordered Dominoes Pelham, Al for 20+years. Tonight encountered rudest, could care less about our website order Maquita. Walking through disappointing experience. Tracking order screen said delivered. We called store and was told that just meant left store. Waited 20 minutes and called again letting them know not received. Man was apologetic & said would get a replacement to us in 20 minutes. A few minutes later Marquita called and said we said to leave order at door. I double checked and no delivery, plus I have camera and alerts on the door(s). Maquita very could care less said they would have to re-prepare the order. I asked if the driver had a phone we could check in with to see if she was near. Maquita just repeated they would have to re-prepare the order. I asked if we could get any compensation for this, and Maquita said yes we will re-prepare your order and deliver. I left well enough alone, but decided it probably would be more prudent to cancel and order another day, so called back to cancel. Maquita put me on a long hold & said they would just void the order. (Which prevents you from going through normal channels to relate the disappointing experienc). Not sure I described the rudeness and don't care attitude we received, but I believe someone upstream should be made aware of how customers have been treated. read more

As far as pizza chains go this is definitely one of my favorites. They have great deal if you sign up for text alerts. You can also earn points on their app for free pizza. I get my pizza well done with extra sauce. It tastes fresh like it hasn't been sitting under a heat lamp. Unfortunately they don't deliver to my house so I have to go to the store. Domino's has attempted a lot of marketing approaches in the last few years, including the sad "hey, we used to suck, but now we are trying to be good'. It's almost as if they are throwing anything against the wall to see if anything sticks. The one thing they have not been able to do is make their pizza anything more than substandard. Now admittedly, I hold a very high bar for pizza, growing up on New Jersey where we have some truly amazing pizza. So, I am a bit critical when it comes to this particular food item. In fact, there are times I want to petition the powers that be to declare pizza as its own food group. It is just for me, pizza should be a culinary wonder, cheesy, with just the right amount of grease running down your arm to know that you are ingesting something truly amazing. Domino's simply falls far too short for me to give it any better than a two star rating and trust me it is with generosity I give it two stars. read more

Domino's is always my go to when it comes to pizza, I absolutely LOVE the garlic crust and breadsticks. I always order online because it is such an easy to use system (and more convenient since COVID). Online there is a progress tracker so you can see where in the process your food is at. There was a slight snag with my pick-up order. Not a big deal, really; I probably only had to wait an extra five minutes. But the manager at this Domino's added free Parmesan bread and then doubled my order of chicken nuggets. He really went out of his way to make sure I was satisfied and then apologized for the inconvenience. I never felt inconvenienced, but I was definitely appreciative of this level of customer service. Domino's has really stepped up its game! We were at a friend's house last night. They order from Domino's. This is completely foreign to our household as the last time I tried Domino's it was Chunk's Favorite after narrowly escaping the grasp of the Fratelli's on One Eyed Willie's ship. The marketing was funny in the 80's with the Noid, but the pizza just wasn't good. Our friends assured us it was good. $5.99 -2 topping carry-out is a good value. We had a couple thin crusts a hand tossed and maybe a pan. I picked up our pizza's after my son's Tae Kwon Do class. I didn't place the order. Additionally, they ordered Parmesan bites. They had a drive thru, so I didn't have to get it of the car in the sub arctic temperatures. The guy at the window served us promptly and was pleasant. We got the pizzas to our friends house and they looked pretty good. Like surprisingly so. I love the occasional thin crust/ pizza on a cracker. This was pretty good thin crust. Flavor, topping ratio/quality/ quantity/value. My son really enjoyed the hand tossed which looked like a pan from the hut. They were a little less generous with the cheese than most quick service pizza joints but it didn't deter him or my daughter. The Parmesan bites were awesome! By and large I consider add on items such as breadsticks a waste of money. The wife and kids usually want those type things and I give in. If it were up to me I'd just never order those things until I tried a Parmesan bites. Hot, soft buttery, cheesy bread. These were considerably better than any bread stick the Hut has ever offered! I would order these again. They were like small, hot, fresh, bite sized pieces of way better quality crazy bread. I've been missing out. On the weekends when I babysit for 14 hours on Saturday's and Sunday's Domino's is my go to. So much so that I have gotten a free people at least once a month. This is my Domino's of choice because not only do they call as soon as you place your order but they are calling to ensure that everything is correct before they prepare it. Also, when they deliver the food instead of driving off they at least watch to ensure that you take it into the house. But not without saying "Thank you, enjoy" When delivering food I can see them wearing masks and gloves when touching the food. This time I had a medium flat crust pizza with light cheese, light sauce, pepperonis and jalapeños. I also tried the garlic knots. And I must say this was the best set of garlic knots I have had, they were not overcooked or undercooked but just right. My pizza was not too crispy but was just right and had the perfect topping ratio. read more

Domino's Pizza is one of my go to's when I have a craving for pizza it is consistently extraordinary! They have the inside closes because of COVID however are offering curbside pickup or drive-thru which was excessively helpful. I didn't need to leave my vehicle all I had to do was go through the drive-thru and give them my name since I already paid when I ordered through the app it took only 5 min. My cheese pizza with pepperoni and bacon was hot and prepared when I arrived and it was delightful and also my cinnamon twist were delicious. They are following COVID protocols well overall. There are not many fast food pizza places that I would rate a 5, but consistently they have made my order correctly. If I asked for extra mushrooms, I got extra mushrooms if I asked for less sauce I got less sauce. They followed all of my instructions and it always arrives hot. Our pizza was delicious, got here quickly, and our driver, Melanie, went above and beyond to make sure we had napkins. We had an impromptu play date with several 8 year-olds and realized, to our horror, that we had run completely out of paper towels. I've had mixed results ordering from this location....delivery is usually within advertised time (30-45 min) and ordering online is quick and painless. My gripes are that numerous times I paid extra for sauces and they were left out. One time in particular I was hosting a party and ordered like a dozen pizzas and 30 sauces, and they left the sauces out. I called and they said they would be right back and they showed up an hour later when everyone was done eating. Also while the food is usually of decent quality, reasonably hot, and fresh, there has been numerous times I have gotten pizza that was wet, soggy and undercooked. I've been very disappointed the past few times I've ordered. I used to love to order from Dominos because they were fast and affordable. Each time I order, my food is delivered later and later than the quoted delivery time. The last time I ordered 3 extra ranch and paid for them, but they were missing from the order. The delivery guy said he would bring them back but never did. When I call the store to ask about my wait time and tell them it's been happening a lot lately, I'm simply told they've been very busy and offered no form of an apology. I hate ordering from other pizza chains because they are over-priced and take incredibly too long. The Pelham Dominos is so close to my house that we tend to turn to them more often than we should. The pizza is usually fresh and cooked properly, it is The service and the rest of the menu that are so appalling. I'm going to be basing this review on my last visit. I placed an order through their app, which tells you that it delivers up to the second updates on your process. Based on that I went up to the store to pick up my order, because the app said it was ready. When I got to the store I told the individual at the cash register that I had been told my order was ready. And he currently said no it's not ready yet and then walked away from me. I sat in the Store for the next 10 to 15 minutes without anyone talking to me or even looking my way. I was then handed a pizza but not my hot wings. So they took my pizza put it back on a warmer and I waited another five minutes for my wings. The wings where the grossest chicken wings I've ever had they tasted like water they had the texture of boiled meat put under a hot light. They were not even properly sauced,they just had sauce squirted on top of them. It's this kind of effort that makes me hate fast food and chain restaurants, there's just so much more effort and care in a locally owned restaurant.
