The mac & cheese was mid but generously cheesy, and the fries were exactly what you'd expect: simple and edible. The hushpuppies were the standout for me - crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and easily the best part of the meal. Overall, it was a good lunch break from the usual chain drive-thrus. Is it the best BBQ in the state? Probably not for me, but if you're in the area, it's absolutely worth the stop.

I have been in this business for 20+ years at every level of management from hourly to district. And I have never seen a "manager" not care as much as this one. Even from watching him work through the window before entering. He had air pods in. No hair net with hair flying everywhere in a pony tail with no hat. But refusing a refund or a credit for future pizza is unacceptable on so many levels since I brought the pizza back. And when I gave him the pizza he didn't even look at it. He just tossed it. That could have been a teaching moment for the staff to make sure that never happened again. Or even an "oh crap" moment for him to realize that the customer was actually right. I know how hard it is to work in the hospitality industry at any level. But having that attitude is only hurting this franchise. And I am baffled at the lack of training this manager has had with dealing with customers in general.
