I order online across the country on business and don't recall ever having the trouble that I have had tonight with Domino's. First let me say that I like Domino's Pizza...I love their pizza, sandwiches, salads, chicken wings...all yummy. I am a happy customer...until tonight. My order was simple...wings, antipasti salad, two bottle's of water. Driver arrived...chicken wings...NO DIPPING SAUCE...forgot my Antipasti Salad but remembered the salad dressing...did remember the two bottle's of water. I don't have any idea what he was trying to tell me he could do to may it all better...HEY, all I want is my food. So I paid the whole bill, plus a $5 tip to this obnoxious driver... The receipt is the original white paper and a yellow no carbon paper 2nd page...that yellow paper will not copy/scan or xerox and as a business traveler, I want that white receipt. You might have thought that i was trying to cheat this poor guy or something the way he became over not wanting me to keep the white receipt. Is this representative of Domino's Pizza...perhaps not...it hasn't been my experience over these years. So, it pains me to write a poor review, but this store needs to feel the facts. So as I write this review the driver arrives with my salad...thank you. I will give you three stars rather than the two that I had originally planned to give...thanks for bringing the salad. I ordered my pizza sometime around/after 9PM on 9/8/17. Got here just before ten. The delivery driver handed me my pizza and the sauces, then gave me the receipt. He said he left the soda in the car and needed to grab it. He came back and took the receipt from me, THEN told me he actually left the soda at the store. Now, sometimes they leave it in the car, otherwise I wouldn't have tipped or paid until he actually gave me everything. He told me he was going to go back to the store and bring it back. I live less than 10 minutes away. So thirty minutes later, I call. The guy who answered was very nice and said that he should be to my house soon (I assume the driver wasn't at the store) so we hung up. Now, another 25 minutes pass (just shy of an hour after he left my house!) and I have to call again. Same guy answered and this time, I explained just how close I am to the store. I use to order a large pepperoni pizza with stuffed crust from the Pizza Hut on Military Rd. aaaallllll the time. Whenever I was craving pizza I'd order from Pizza Hut because Domino's was never a choice. I use to HATE Domino's pizza because it use to taste exactly like how the haters in their commercials thought the pizza tasted when Domino's did a hidden camera interview about their pizza's taste. Domino's pizza DID taste like crap. Their crust tasted like cardboard and their sauce was AWFUL! However, when my cousins came up from California a couple months ago we had a scary movie marathon and pizza night. I kept pushing for Pizza Hut but my cousins and my brothers wanted Domino's. So I gave in and let them order. They ordered 3 medium 2 topping pizzas for $5.99 each. CHEAP! I was afraid of how it would taste. Anyway, when the pizzas got here I took a bite of the Peperroni Jalapeno pizza and oh my goodness I swear I died and went to heaven. The pizza tasted GREAT! and wait, it gets better! The crust tops it all off because it's seasoned with garlic and it's just adds to the party going on in your mouth. Ever since then, I've been ordering from this Domino's pizza location because not only are they SUPER FAST to make your pizza (you can keep track through the tracking order thing if you order online) but they are so QUICK to deliver the pizzas to my house. You can even see who's making them and delivering them! I swear it only takes 15 minutes tops. I love how fast this Domino's pizza location is and I love the pepperoni jalapeño pizzas. In the past Domino's was always our second choice to Pizza Hut or Papa Johns but after moving to the Des Moines area, the Pac Hwy (24050) Kent Domino's store is our number one pick, Not sure what the difference is from other area franchises, but from this store the pizza tastes MUCH better (fresher, hotter, yummier), the drivers are always friendly and fun to talk to. They handle our obnoxious Chihuahua in their face (us holding the offending pup while trying to sign our receipts) with grace and humor. ALL of them thus far are great. We try to tip the drivers well but sometimes find last minute we only have 2 or 3 dollars to give and they never act like its an insult. We try to make it up the next time..lol. I LOVE the online "watch your pizza being made" and they have always shown up earlier than we thought. ** Note before I discovered how easy online they were, they were equally awesome on the phone** I manage a local apartment community and I am SO going to use this Domino's to feed my awesome residents. I would like to start off saying that I order from here often. Very often. It's usually from this location due to its proximity to my workplace. They provide good pizza. If I were in deeper in Seattle, I wouldn't order Domino's though because there are better places out there. I would also like to leave a shoutout for Vanessa, who makes most of the stuff I order. Pizza Hut would benefit from you. My drivers are usually really good though I did have one that made me apologize for them getting lost even though the dress was.. well, the address. I don't mind. I got my pizza and everyone has bad days. Currently I have an order being made. It's not by Vanessa so I may update this sometime afterwards if things don't go well. I order pizza from this location few and far between. We usually receive great food and service. I would give 4 stars but I also work at a job where we receive yelp reviews and a 4 star based on a small mistake is not reflective of the standard usually kept by said business. Won't go into detail, my order included pasta among other things and the pasta was half the quantity I had been delivered previously. The driver was BEYOND satisfactory. Actually TYRESE was his name and his penchant for company protocol (making sure the merchant copy of the receipt was signed) and customer service were unparalleled in this day and age. I've been ordering from the Pizza Hut on Kent-Des Moines but have had the worst customer service and wait times for pizza I've ever experienced in my life. The last two times I had to talk to the manager with no discernable improvement in service after the fact. Tonight I decided to try Domino's since they were the next closest place. It was easy to order online . they had some great coupon deals. I could track the progress of my order. I knew who was handling my order (handy if there is a mistake). They were FAST! Half an hour from order to delivery. Which is less than a third of the time it took me to get my last online order from Pizza Hut (an hour and forty minutes for a pizza that was made down the block). The driver was friendly and totally understanding about me putting away our Yorkie before I opened the door. I was impressed with he speed and service and will be ordering from them from now on. read more

kattie has the worst customer service I have ever come across. I was given the option to pay cash and when arriving at the store was told your order has to be over $50 to cash $100 bill. My total was $48 so I told them to charge me for a second drink. The employee ran inside to talk to manager and the manager claimed that now it has to be $80 so it changed in a matter of seconds. it was then the employee asked me to run to the store to cash my $100 bill. once I receive the pizza it felt like it was not warm at all and I got to the store when the app alerted me to do so in fact I was in the parking lot when I ordered the pizza. once I got home I did check the temperature of the pizza and it was not warm at all. it was closer to cold and then hot. I called the store and talked to kattie the mamager and all shd did was tall over and acted smug and condesending. instead of offering to refund my order she said that the pizza was.caused due to the travel time to my home. this is a poor excuse as I've driven pizza home from this location many times. terrible experience read more

There is no joy for me to write a negative review, especially for one business we really have enjoyed. Great pizza, friendly service, and really good prices...except: We ordered three large pizzas, on line, for $7.99 each to "carry out" and ordered two days ahead to be at a dining event in our community at 6:00 PM. So we received notice that the order was placed and could be "tracked". Not wishing to do this, but an additional offer to bread sticks for $1.99, we did accept. On the scheduled day at a few minutes before the time I had requested, they could not find any record of our order. As a result, though I showed them the order on my mobile) I was charged, instead of $33.59 plus $1.99 for the added bread, I was charged $43 and some pennies! This was for only three pizzas and a side of bread sticks, which should not have gone over $36.00. It will be a long time (like forever) before we order from Domino's again! What is really sad here, is they have excellent pizza and great items to accompany. The way they treat a regular customer, though, does need radical improvement. Yes, I still kept the mobile confirmation of my Domino's order, for $33.59. Yes, we are all disappointed with Domino's up by Lowe's in Kent!
