When this domino's pizza first opened in the Huffman-Crosby community, it is as received with great expectations. Unfortunately the first few weeks of opening was something of a disaster. store Hours were irregular if not outright unpredictable. Then the decision was apparently made almost immediately upon opening to not deliver to Lake Houston Commons which is one of the largest subdivision in the area and is right behind the store less than 2 miles away.
So for many months I had decided not to bother visiting this place due to the early struggles of management. However pizza is pizza and ultimately I will give any restaurant a second try as long as they don't either disrespect me or my family or make me sick with their food.
So after observing much more regular store hours, I finally decided to give it a try today. I went online to order and picked it up myself. The online experience was easy simple and easy. I bought 2 large, 3-topping pizzas for essentially half off. I pick up the pizzas myself rather than waiting on delivery because I like to try a slice right out of the oven before I go home. That is the fairest way to judge the quality of a pizza by testing it at its peak hotness. Also it's fast. This order was ready for pickup in less than 10 minutes. I found the thin crust to be tasty and very crunchy. If you have a gluten restricted diet then the thin crust is a great compromise. Of course they offer a gluten free crust, but I personally think it taste like sawdust. For the other pizza, I ordered a hand tossed crust that is certainly a hearty and cheap meal.
In summary the pizzas were hot and flavorful enough to bring me back again whenever I looking for a quick, cheap meal in the area. read more
