During that time, other guests who arrived after us appeared to receive service before we did. I ordered the steak and cheese sandwich, and my wife ordered the chipotle chicken Alfredo. The food arrived about 15 minutes after we ordered. My sandwich was acceptable, but the chipotle chicken Alfredo was not prepared well. The chicken was overcooked, and the sauce had thickened to the point that it affected the texture of the dish. My wife was unable to finish it. We were also there during happy hour, which was supposed to include $2 off all drinks. After reviewing the bill, the drink discount did not appear to be applied. Because of the amount of time we had already spent waiting, we chose not to raise the issue at the restaurant. After asking for the bill, we waited about 10 minutes and had to call the waitress over again to request it. Based on this visit, we do not plan to return to Pub 22. Now, if you have ever had Tavern Pizza from one of the Italian pizza joints in Chicago, you know they are relatively thin (like saltine cracker thin), but this was as thin as a flour tortilla with toppings. This visit I received Singapore style noodles, cold, overcooked, very dry, unseasoned, and instead of garnishing with peanuts it was garnished with cilantro. I tried adding soy sauce just to get the clumps of dry noodles to separate. The noodles broke apart when I took a forkful. The proper noodles at my last visit were long flat and could be twirled like spaghetti. They were cooked properly and seasoned well , nice soupy noodles. Yesterday's noodles were the wrong ones for Thai noodles and so dry That I had to sprinkle soy sauce on them to get them to be edible. NOTE TO DAVID, MANAGER, FIND OUT WHO THE CHEF WAS YESTERDAY AT 5 O'CLOCK, AND HAVE HIM TRAIN WITH THE CHEF WHO PREPARED MY FIRST MEAL OF THAI NOODLES. My meal yesterday was unacceptable. The soup came out when my Thai noodle dish came out, but the rest order never came out. Finally, we went up to the register and asked them to take it off the bill , we paid and left. During our time there, the waitress only came to take the order and deliver it. Never came back to see how everything was. Training of kitchen staff and wait staff need to be addressed. They are serving inconsistent meals with inconsistent service. If you could advise me of the name of the first chef, I will be sure to return when he is working. His cooking of both our mea was so delicious. It made me want to come back yesterday. Unfortunately I did not receive the same meal at all. After my husband paid the waitress she disappeared into the kitchen before he could ask for a to go box. So he had to grab a large beverage cup with a cover as she didn't come out of the kitchen while he was standing there waiting. As I said, I would really love to return when the chef who prepared my first Thai noodle meal is back in the kitchen. Let me know his name so when I I can be sure he's working. It was loaded with toppings -- mushrooms, black olives, red onions, green peppers, jalapeños, and even a few vibrant basil leaves. With sauce artfully dolloped on top, it looked like the pizza was dressed up for a party, and I was the lucky guest. The crust had a perfect char, giving it that authentic, slightly rustic look, and I could already smell the spices before I took the first bite. Interactions: The staff at Mod Pizza were all smiles and seemed genuinely excited about pizza. When I asked for extra toppings, they didn't just sprinkle them on; they went full chef mode and created what felt like a personal work of art. One of them even winked and said, "Hope you're hungry!" Challenge accepted. Food: Every bite was an explosion of flavors. The crispy crust provided the perfect base, holding up against the generous toppings. The mushrooms were juicy, the onions added a nice crunch, and the jalapeños gave it just the right kick. The red sauce was tangy and tasted fresh, adding a zing to each slice. There were so many toppings that it almost felt like a salad on a pizza -- but way better than any salad I've ever had! It was like a flavor scavenger hunt; each bite was a little different, and each one was delicious. Service: The service was quick and friendly, with the staff making sure I got exactly what I wanted, down to the last olive. They were attentive without hovering, and the energy they brought to the place added to the fun, relaxed vibe of the whole experience. You can tell they enjoy putting together each unique pizza order, which makes the experience feel personal. Value: Mod Pizza is one of the best deals in town, especially with all those extra toppings. I got a fully loaded pizza for a very reasonable price, and they didn't skimp on anything. For the quality, variety, and the chance to customize every inch, it's definitely worth every penny. Recommendation: If you're craving a pizza that's exactly how you want it, Mod Pizza is the place to go. They've nailed the balance of quality ingredients, generous portions, and laid-back, friendly service. Bring your appetite, and don't be shy with the toppings -- they're ready to pile them on!

There is a table device to request refills on drinks or food. Food is consistent and good. Nothing outstanding, but very good tasting and any issues are addressed easily with staff (like a forgot to mention food allergy). There is a good beer, wine and bar selection.
