Philly Cheesesteak

This review is for 9/29/2010. Sorry guys...I haven't written a review since Sunday. I've been bringing in my lunch or going to Ralph's. Well, this is not a new review, just an updated one. After a good experience last week, I wanted to try out Domino's Sandwich for lunch. Again, I ordered online. I picked up a menu from this store and this location had a meal deal for $6.99. I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak, Dorito Chips, and Coke Zero. My total was $7.67. I think I should have paid with cash since I might have saved 3 cents...lol. Once I ordered my food, I was out the door and literally racing against the Order Tracker. I arrive to the location and some lady opened her water that she purchased that exploded in front of me. Talk about a Splashing Entrance. She asked for a another bottle, but that was the only cold bottle? What?! Geez....I guess Domino's didn't stock up their beverages. I saw a lady there and I am guessing she maybe Tracy. I thought Tracy was the guy that helped me last week. My order wasn't ready and that meant I beat the tracker from being completed...WOOT!!! The guy came out with my food and he probably recognized me from last week. Starting to sound like we are good buddies. The box seemed quite small, but then I have big hands. The smell was almost as strong as the pasta bowl that I ordered, but this time I will control the smell before it spreads throughout the office. The sandwich was very clean. When you think of Philly Cheesesteak, you think of dripping sauce and pure disaster, but this was like eating a Ciabatta from a Foreman Grill. Every bite was crunch and clean. I can actually eat this without worrying about my uniform being stained. The mushrooms were the noticeable ingredient. With every bite, I thought I was eating a pizza. Its not bad at all. The sad part about this was...I finished it. :( Oh well. I still recommend this store since its the only one in my area. I think the one thing I would like to order, if they have, is Personal Pizzas. I order from one of the biggest chains, but I haven't ordered pizza yet. Only time will tell...... Have Fun here and Keep Yelping!!

Pathetic. Not even CLOSE to the amount of sauce pictured online. You guys disappoint more and more each time.

We were given a wait time, but honestly it was unclear if she said 13 mins or 30 mins. Regardless, as previously mentioned we were used to a 20 minute wait anyway, so that's why we call ahead and then kill some time with the drive over. We arrived exactly at noon. There were three other parties ahead of us. The woman at the counter noticed a new face (me) and asked if I wanted to place an order. I told her I already did a phone order, but would take the ticket up to the register to pay. While waiting for our order, I heard the three women behind the counter saying a number of times "no croutons," so I really appreciated that they wanted to make sure my order was accurate and they were following my special request. At 12:11pm, we received our order and received multiple apologies for the wait time. I, personally, didn't find the wait time to be horrendous, but maybe because I was mentally prepared for it. I could appreciated the customer service though! When we got home, I unwrapped my Caesar wrap and it was perfect. No croutons (as I had asked), and the chicken was warm while the rest was cold and refreshing. It was a yummy combo. I do wish that they had used some romaine lettuce as most caesar salads have, rather than the shredded lettuce, but oh well - it was still good. Later that night, I wanted to try my partner's Cabana Club, and that sandwich made me question if I ordered the right sandwich because that was super tasty too! Every time we've visited Papa's Deli their sandwiches are always stacked. I really like how they don't skimp here. It feels like they really use high quality ingredients, and I think it's a great price for the quality and quantity of food provided. The only con I have for this place is that parking seems to be a bit difficult. It always seems like it's either hard to find a spot, or the parking spots are really tight in this plaza.

I've had a lot of sandwiches in my days roaming the earth and eating things so I feel I'm kind of an expert on the subject matter. The roast beef is super tender without all the nasty chewy parts you get in other meats, it's absolutely delicious. Ms Ruth puts in the perfect amount of condiments so you're not overwhelmed with one flavor over another. It's something that you just have to go and try for yourself. That being said, they have a giant selection of other sandwiches. The portions are very large and enough to split so go with a friend or take a couple home for the family and cut them up the way you want. There's abundant parking but limited seating so many people get them to go. It's in Seco Mini Market so the selection of chips and drinks is more than enough to make you happy.

Although it was a fairly busy time, there was only one person in line finishing up their order. The team member at the register was upbeat and friendly, offering to answer any questions about the menu. We ordered the Prosciutto & Chicken (no tomato) for the daughter, Chicken Parm Dip for the husband and 1/2 Chicken Pesto Caprese with Tomato Basil Soup for me. With no drinks or added sides and a moderate tip, it came out to just under $50. Fantastic sandwiches! The bread is standout delicious with fresh and generous fillings. The consistency and flavor of my Tomato Soup was on point -- so good! Although on the pricier end for a very simple lunch, it's worth the small splurge (IMO). The place is bright and clean. Friendly service. No issues with parking in the large plaza.

On this visit, my husband ordered the "Not So Fried" chicken sandwich with the lemon chicken & farro soup. I ordered the club sandwich. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. They also have some really tasty flavored teas and juices that are worth trying. You can dine inside or outside. After ordering, you scan your receipt at your table so the staff knows where to bring your food. I'm not entirely sure of their policy on clearing tables, but we usually take our tray over and throw everything away ourselves. The food is definitely on the pricey side, but the quality and freshness make it a treat. This has become my go-to after-paycheck eatery!

Stopped here for lunch. I appreciated that they had a veggie option (meatless meatball sandwich)…read more I ordered that and a regular coke. The sandwich was a good size and it filled me up. It wasn't anything spectacular, but it did the job. I'm giving this place four stars because I'm impressed there was a veggie option here- other food places at Six Flags that we stopped by had only meat options for main entrees. There are circular dining tables where you can eat your meal. There is no indoor seating. Luckily it wasn't too hot and the umbrella over the table provided shade. Pros: -good sized sandwich -provide veggie option -umbrellas over tables Cons: -they don't provide you with a lid for a beverage (this applies to the rest of the park)

They offer a variety of sandwiches here all of which can be made into a Coloss-Wich which is a party sub that you can use to feed up to 4 friends and it looks to be a good size too but I haven't gotten one. Of the Wich varieties the Scream-Wich sounded to be what was good and you know it was as the Wich bread was really tasty and it just had a bunch of chicken some jalapeño bacon under melted jack cheese and a bunch of veggies to throw down the spice a little bit from the extra jalapeños I found hidden away inside this yummy sandwich. They give you a bag of chips as well with your Wich purchase so that's definitely a plus as the food here is quite expensive as it was around $27 for the two sandwiches we ordered then again it's a park and I'm already expecting it to be high! Season dinning passes are accepted for the Turkey sandwich and the Italian sandwich so I'd definitely consider this as one of your options because the Wiches here are quite scrumptious! If your in the park for the day buy one of the refillable drink bottles it will save you a ton of money all year long or all day long depending on which cup you buy. The staff here was really nice and super friendly on a Easter morning as we were the only ones in the shop so we pretty much talked to all of them the entire time we were here with our order questions and then about some things that were going on in the park they made us feel welcomed and were just all around nice and knowledge about all that was Twisted Wiches & Magic Mountain. I'm sure that I will be back here again at some point as the Wiches were delicious and it really is one of the better places you can eat wile your inside Six Flags Magic Mountain!
