A bit much for a quick bite. But I told her what a coincidence I seen a Boots' when I went to the lawn mower shop! Bless that mower, because now we've got a new go-to spot. Let's talk food: My wife had the fish and shrimp -- fresh like it swam here. I got the Boots' Burger with onion rings that crunched louder than the fans in the dining room (which, by the way, were working overtime. Not sure if it was the AC or a tribute to NASCAR, but it was breezy in there). The vibe is pure old-school diner meets car guy dream garage. Clean, cool, and loaded with personality. We told the staff it was our first time and they couldn't have been nicer. Friendly, helpful, and you could tell they actually liked being there. Rare these days. We've been to the Spartanburg location -- and it's good -- but this one hit different. Could've been the food, the time of day, or maybe those crispy onion rings had me seeing stars. Either way, we're coming back.

Four of us came on a sunny day for lunch hoping to find some good quality southern cooking. We really enjoyed our appetizers, which included the plump Fried Soft Shell Crabs, Spring Salad (w/ fresh SC strawberries), and Fried Mushrooms. The entrees were somewhat less satisfactory. Nothing really bad in any way, but did not compared to their initial offerings. The full rack of Smoked Ribs were a little dry, while the Shrimp & Grits needed more flavor. All in all, a pretty good meal and I would certainly come back when back in Landrum again. Hopefully I get to try some of the unique dishes that they offer, but weren't available that day.

Never been so happy to be "hustled" in my life! First of…read moreall, I have to thank my daughter Lauren for turning me on to this place! She RAVED about it a few weeks ago and loved it so much she did a Google review on it! I have to say she was "DEAD ON" with her review! ( Go look at Google Reviews if you want to read it). As I am a native New Orleanian it's hard to impress me when it comes to food in general. I am extremely particular about most food I eat, and chicken wings are no exception. Too many people think that when you're from New Orleans everything you eat has to be loaded with cayenne pepper or salt. (They're completely wrong by the way, but that's a story for another day)... Anyway, even with Lauren's recommendation of the place I wasn't expecting a whole lot. At best I thought that they might have some flavorful chicken; I was also hoping that it wouldn't be dry. In short, this place blew me away! They have taken great care to create sauces that tease and delight your pallet, from slightly sweet blends, to burn the lips off your body (if you like that sort of thing), ! Seriously, there is something for EVERYONE here! I had a couple of different types of wings. I love sauces, but I'm a big fan of dry rubs as well. The lemon pepper here is better than any. I've tasted anywhere! I also had the Poppin Cherry wings, which if I'm gonna be honest, I thought it might've been way too sweet for my pallet, but surprise! They would just right, sweet with a nice kick at the end! I also had the Jammin jerk which reminded me of the Caribbean. The Peach knockout wings fooled me, because although they started off tasting somewhat sweet, but as soon as you got a good bite the heat hit you back of your throat! All in all, I think I tried six different sauces and one dry rub. None of them disappointed as evidenced by the pictures below. In addition, they have to be some of the sweetest people above that since I've been here in North Carolina. The host is wonderful, and she even gave us some advice on other places to try while we're here. I also got a chance to meet the chef, and it's clear that he loves what he does as evidenced by the way his food tastes and the way he talks about it. I love me some people that love what they do, and this young man does! As we speak, I'm on my way back to Hustle to get hustled again! Don't miss out on the spot, especially for you locals! The first thing I noticed was that you order at the register and then to the end of that counter you have the drink station and the condiments and all that other good stuff. The menu had a small but good variety of options. There were shareables, tenders, smash burgers, chicken wraps/sandwiches, and wings. I decided to go with the wrap and got the Asian chicken wrap. My mom and I sat down and the food was out in 10 minutes. My wrap was warm and pretty flavorful I would say. The chicken was grilled in a sweet sauce that kind of tasted like teriyaki, and it came with lettuce and tomato in it. As my side I decided to give the Mac and Cheese a try. I would say that the mac and cheese wasn't too impressive but it also did surprise me because it wasnt like your average bright yellow mac and cheese. So I would definitely try out another side when I get to come back here. Overall I enjoyed my visit at hustle wings. The service was good, the food was good. If you're in the area and want to try something new give this place a try.
