Nick thank you so much for your excellent service. I also enjoyed eating the skinny fries!! Overall we loved the food and interior layout of the restaurant. They also have a market inside the restaurant filled with frozen entrees you can purchase along with cakes and lemon pound cakes, and other miscellaneous items for sale. I highly recommend this establishment! We loved this place for lunch after our hike at Blue Wall Nature Preserve. Wonderful dining experience!!!

We just visited for the first time since their major renovation and boy, have things changed! It was never an inexpensive place, but the food was always amazing - even on the days when the service wasn't stellar. This time there was nothing redeeming. Overall the experience was awful and I'm not sure we will ever go back. We started with the honey butter bread, which is a flatbread, but is usually soft and fluffy and just drizzled with honey. This was thin & crispy and swimming in honey. Not a great start. Our guests both ordered salads and both salads ($18 each) were disappointing. Just plain lettuce with a protein on top & a couple slices of avocado. No mix of greens, nothing but lettuce. My husband got the filet, which had very little flavor, needed seasoning. The included sides were pitiful green beans that didn't seem fresh & a tiny tomato salad. Thankfully he isn't picky, but it was very disappointing. I got the burger with the bacon jam, which I've had before. It was nothing like what I've had before. The burger was tiny and instead of an interesting mix of toppings, it was just tons of bacon jam - nothing to offset or balance it out, like it used to. The meat itself wasn't very flavorful. Now I can fault our guests for ordering salads instead of meals. Their soups and sandwiches always used to be top notch and since we didn't get any of those this time, I really cannot say how those have changed. But with as bad as the burger was, I've lost faith in them. Even the service was lacking. The waitress was pleasant enough, but didn't write anything down and definitely screwed up our order. Once we had our food, she disappeared. On top of all that, there was a group of 8 right behind us that were extremely loud and obnoxious. This certainly isn't the fault of Stone Soup, but it did mean that even the ambiance couldn't redeem the visit. We are a couple that eat out OFTEN. And we are happy to pay for food quality and experience. But when the bill for a party of 4 is $150 and EVERY aspect of the visit disappoints, then we have a problem with the prices.

Huge variety from rabbit to alligator and everything in between. This restaurant can easily be a staple with awesome rotating menus and classic southern barbecue. Everything came out perfectly and everyone was impressed with the meal. The waitress was so nice, especially with a big group that was a little indecisive at the end of the night. It felt welcoming, and not just because the classic bbq shop decor, and tucked away feeling inside the building. I will absolutely be coming back when I'm in town again and look forward to trying it again.

Four of us came on a sunny day for lunch hoping to find some good quality southern cooking. We really enjoyed our appetizers, which included the plump Fried Soft Shell Crabs, Spring Salad (w/ fresh SC strawberries), and Fried Mushrooms. The entrees were somewhat less satisfactory. Nothing really bad in any way, but did not compared to their initial offerings. The full rack of Smoked Ribs were a little dry, while the Shrimp & Grits needed more flavor. All in all, a pretty good meal and I would certainly come back when back in Landrum again. Hopefully I get to try some of the unique dishes that they offer, but weren't available that day.

I really enjoyed the brussel sprouts and the pizza was great. They also have really good beer options, brewed in house. The staff was really nice in taking orders, and even though the restuarant was packed, everything came out pretty quickly. The resturant itself had trivia going on, and we joined in. Even winning one round, but severely losing every other one. There are a ton of games like cornhole, and a dog patio for pet owners. Tons of outdoor space and open concepts for hanging out with friends. Great little brewery that can make for a fun night.

This was my first trip to South Carolina and was very excited to find this restaurant and brewery! They have SO much seating and is great for bigger parties! They have a lot of activities going on as well each week according to their schedule and we just happen to catch them on bingo night where they gave out prizes for the winners, so fun! You can get full service if you sit inside or you can order quick service to sit outside on their picnic benches and tables, we ordered a few pizzas, bread pudding and some drinks, everything came out pretty fast and the staff were very nice and welcoming. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a low-key evening with delicious food, drinks, and entertainment!
