The burger was good, but when we ordered them medium, we were told they "don't cook anything to temperature." Okay... fine again. We were just rolling with it at this point. The burger was good, but our fries were underdone. The garlic aioli was really tasty, though, so I drowned them in it. In addition to the burgers, we also had three cocktails in total. There were no prices on the menu. I ordered The Fitzgerald's version of a Bee's Knees, and my husband had two regular martinis. The bill total came to $91 before tip. We were not shown an itemized receipt at all, or offered one after we paid. So, in addition to $36 in burgers, that meant each cocktail cost about $18. Because I was told that their menu is posted on Facebook, I logged into my deactivated account to check what was posted there. I did see the change to hot dog night in lieu of seafood, but there were still no cocktail prices. The last call I made was around 6 pm on Friday night (July 28, 2022. Someone did answer this time and told me he would check my reservation and call be back within a few minutes and let me know if they had availability. Well, that never happened. What business or establishment, especially restaurants, never return calls to confirm a reservation and leave a message. It's obvious that don't need or want more business. We have never been to Renzo's or The Speak Easy before. And we've lived here for almost 26 years. So we thought we'd enjoy giving this a try. The reviews are really good for this restaurant. But not for me. It's their loss for not responding to a potential gain of atleast a couple of hundred dollars that could have been made if we had gotten a return call. Get it together Renzo's.
