I have been a customer of Dominion Maids for nearly four years now and am back with an updated review. I've rotated through several crews and schedules with varying results but I now feel like I have a wonderful and friendly team team who comes every two weeks to make sure that I don't fall into a hole of disarray. Like all ongoing relationships we've had some hiccups and missteps but I truly appreciate the customer service I have received to make sure that we are all happy at the end of the day. read more

Excellent service! The team always shows up on time and does a fantastic job cleaning my house! Elizabeth is my number one! She always makes sure my marble floors are shining and spotless! The owner Marjorie is a gem and always follows up to make sure you are satisfied! read more

I could not be more pleased with my first experience using Dominion Maids! The team arrived punctually and got straight to work making my house sparkle. The ladies worked very efficiently as a team together at an impressive speed, and I could not find one thing to criticize after they were finished. The owner, Marjorie, did a very thorough pre-interview with me in order to estimate a fair price for the work, and followed up afterwards to be sure I was satisfied. I'm delighted to have found my awesome new cleaning team! Shellie A. read more

I have been working with Dominion Maids for 6 years. They do an outstanding job and are very accommodating when I need to flex my schedule. The team works quickly and efficiently and are very reliable. I am always very comfortable having them in my home. Their pricing is reasonable, as well. I highly recommend them as a housekeeping service. read more

We've used Dominion Maids for over a year now, so I feel that I can leave a fair and honest review. They're average: the actual cleaning ladies are nice but they rush. How do I know they rush? I was home one day and they did my entire 3 floor townhouse in 30 minutes. They've broken my ring holder before and they got sloppy over time and missed things. About what you'd expect from a cleaning service. This all, however, wasn't enough to make me find a new cleaning service, though. The reason we're leaving is because of the owner, Marjorie. She doesn't speak Spanish (her husband does) and either ignores simple requests or doesn't effectively communicate them to her employees. Specifically: I have requested, via email, 7+ times now (can document the dates) that the cleaning ladies replace the trash bags with provided bags, yet they still haven't done it. The last 6 times they've come I've returned home to find the bathroom trash cans still without a new bag. (Even though I've told her where we keep them.) Each time, Marjorie apologized, but this most recent time, she asked me to leave the bags out "on the counter" for the ladies (as a visual reminder). I'm sorry, but we cannot accommodate that. My husband and I often travel for work, and we are not able to leave bags out on display every time they're coming. If a task as simple as replacing a trash bag is too difficult for a cleaning service, then I'm not interested in giving them my business any longer. read more

When I first started with Dominion Maids, I would have given them a 4. They are reasonably priced and although not the most thorough cleaners I've used, they did fine for my needs. As time has gone on, they've gotten much faster and much less thorough. For example, they are no longer dusting anything above shoulder level. This means that the top shelf of a bookcase or dresser won't be dusted, but the lower levels will. It seems to top off at anything above 5.5 feet, despite their website saying "We also have 9 foot extension poles for fans and two story cleaning with micro fiber brushes." Another example is that they aren't cleaning the underside of faucets -- just the tops. The owner is very receptive, but as another reviewer noted, is it worth the time to have to go back and forth with requests for basics? Edited to add: I'm a customer but I don't use my real name online for privacy reasons. I've experienced bullying from business owners in the past and it's not worth it to me to engage. I appreciate how passionate the owner of Dominion Maids is and hope that they respect that I have posted my experience and that people reading reviews are smart enough to weigh both the good and the not-so-good reviews. read more

March 10, 2017 Executive Summary: *Dominion Maids is a Five Star Service *The quality is amazing *The customer service is amazing Summary: I was fortunate enough to find time in the schedule of Dominion Maids to assist with cleaning a home that I am moving out of. The five bedroom home with 3 full bathrooms not only had two adults that were always too busy for a "Deep cleaning" but our only "kids" included 3 short haired cats. You can imagine what collects behind furniture over several years. My first inquiry with Dominion Maids demonstrated that this was team offered a great product. The quick customer response was amazing. Their communication style is caring and they want to listen to create the service for your needs. This communication was demonstrated upon our walk through as the team quickly understood the requirements with their great questions. Furthermore, the team continued this great customer service by inquiring with me whether I wanted the stove and fridge cleaned as this would be an optional charge. This demonstrated their continued honest and quality customer service. The team arrived just a day after our meeting and the final work is amazing! No matter how much scrubbing bubbles I used on a shower door, I could never get it clean. Dominion Maids on the other hand, restored the doors to their original cleanliness. The baseboards that were covered with furniture generated a hiding spot for the cats to sit. This hiding spot created a buildup of fur and it was wiped to perfection! They covered every square inch of the home. Entering the home you are presented with a great new level of cleanliness! Working with a cleaning team you might be just looking at quality and convenience, but you need to also look at trustworthiness. The Dominion Team is locally owned and is a part of the great community. I felt immediately comfortable and secure with this team. This was exhibited with their great communication style as well. If you are doing a move out, or closing a home for some reason, talk to Dominion first. They can handle coordination with other services related to closing out a home. I am not sure what is wrong with the Yelp algorithms, but clearly they are broken. My five star rating is based on the combination of the amazing quality, customer service and trustworthiness. I would definitely hire Dominion Maids for regular service or specialized service. read more

UPDATE: The owner reached out and made sure that we had a team over to freshen up the House before our party. That was very nice of her and a huge help to us. read more

This is the second time I write a review of a product/service thus far in my life; that's speak greatly about how pleased I am with Dominion Maids. We've begin having Dominion Maids clean our house toward the end of 2016. Working with the owner Marjorie C. has been wonderful! Marjorie has always made sure that our schedule and cleaning needs are met and to our standard. She is straight forward and really put her customers and their priority first. We were very hesitant to have a cleaning service come to our house due to prior personal situation. I was honest with Marjorie at first about my hesitation. She came to my house for a meet and greet, and through talking to her, I felt "right". The cleaning team is also wonderful! They have always been early or on time. They keep my two levels house very clean. They make the appliances in the kitchen clean and shine, just like new! The bathrooms are cleaned like a high end hotel bathrooms. There is no dust lying around furniture or appliances after they left! They pay attention to details and our needs! I feel confident and "right: to have them come to my house and make our home clean and beautiful. There is nothing else I can ask for with Dominion Maids that they will not try to accommodate. If there is something I am not completely happy with, Marjorie and the team will make it right. I look forward to many years of service from Dominion Maids. read more

I've tried multiple cleaning services since moving here four years ago and Dominion is the first I've stuck with. They clean thoroughly, use scent-free cleaning products. They're efficient and get the job done. Marjorie the owner/manager, is courteous, friendly and responsive to questions and requests. read more

Marjorie and her staff have been doing a great job for us for a few years. We get the same crew every time to come and clean our home every time. They do a wonderful job to make sure and take care of our home. Even when we don't have time to pick up after our 3 and 5 year olds and get our house ready for the crew to come. Mrs Yeimy and her crew really go above what we expect and do an exceptional job making our house look so clean and organized. We really appreciate what dominion maids does for us. Highly recommend! read more

Marjorie and her company, Dominion Maids, did a fabulous job cleaning a home I was listing. Her three employees swept through the house leaving it shining. I was very impressed. Thank you Marjorie! read more

Dominion Maids is fantastic! They do 5 star quality work! The price is more than reasonable. We love Marjorie! Her service and response rate is impeccable! Would highly recommend to anyone who needs their home/office cleaned! Keep up the fantastic work! read more

Dominion Maids is OK. The first few months of cleaning at my place were great, but more recently quality has slipped and they have been careless about my cats. New crew? Complacency because I'm an existing customer? I can't tell. As others note, the owner Marjorie is very responsive, which is great. However, i feel like i've had so much back and forth with her that the time i've saved using a cleaning service has been eaten up in the management of that service. Might be worth your time to give them a try; I'm not sure it's worth my time. read more

The crew who comes to clean my townhouse is awesome. They enjoy the cats and dog, meaning my animals do not bother them at all, even though the two cats are typically under foot. They always say hello to everyone in the house when they enter, even the pets. They always ask at the end of the cleaning if everything is okay. read more

My roommates and I have the ladies clean about twice a month, and we're really pleased with the service. The price is very reasonable and our house looks great when they've left. The bathrooms and kitchen are spotless in particular. We will continue using their service for sure. read more

Best maids in town. They are truly #MakingCleaningGreatAgain Could not recommend more! Very consistent and always punctual. Big help! read more

I have been using Dominion Maids to clean my house since July of 2015. They have always done a great job! We have them scheduled on a bi-weekly basis. This helps keep the dirt and grime at bay. I no longer stress when we have family come to town. I just simply pick up the clutter around the house. They are very flexible with our schedule since we have to be home when they come due to our dog that we rescued. I agree with the other reviewers that they really do work with the community. We found them through a silent auction at the annual Mutt Love Rescue's summer fundraiser. They donated a one-time cleaning to the silent auction and we won the bid. They have again donated to Mutt Love Rescue's winter fundraiser. The money raised at these fundraisers go to save dogs that would otherwise be euthanized at animal shelters. Thank you Dominion Maids for helping give these pups another chance at having a life. read more

Dominion Maids is very reputable and reliable company! I know many families in the area who use their services and have had only great things to say about the staff and owner. Not only is Dominion Maids locally owned, it is also a great community partner. I have worked with the owner on several occasions for events for a neighborhood preschool. They are so flexible and accommodating - I highly recommend them! read more

Total ripoff....just fired them for being extremely incompetent . The owner informed me that their cleaning doesn't include fans unless specified, so for a year they did not touch my ceiling... three people came in and left the house in an hour , bathrooms uncleaned. I felt I was trying to please the cleaners than the cleaning people were trying to please me... just be aware!!! read more

I recently used Dominion Maids for my fall cleaning and it was a great experience. The owner is very professional and worked hard to get me the appointment time I requested. The cleaning itself was thorough and the staff was friendly and great to work with. My fall cleanings require more detail than a normal cleaning and so often people don't seem to know what to do. Dominion Maids knew exactly how to do a deep cleaning! It was a great experience! read more
