Dominic's is one of my favorite family restaurants! I always judge an Italian place by their meat sauce and Dominic's has the best bolognese in the area. They definitely use a mix of veal/pork/beef and it tastes just like if I made it for 6 hours at home. My second favorite is the rigatoni a la vodka, the vodka sauce is sooo creamy and delicious with just the right amount of pork flavor. I am always torn between these two dishes when trying to order, I wouldn't bother with the pizza though, not bad but not that's great either. Go for lunch, it is much more affordable, and get lots of garlic rolls! read more

I ordered a large pizza with spinach and olives for delivery. The delivery person was rude as if it were a waste if his time to deliver the pizza. The pizza was lukewarm and soggy. I will not order delivery from this business again. However, I might give the sit down restaurant a try, but I'm not racing in for a seat. read more

I have eaten in the restaurant several times and have enjoyed the service & meals!! Tonight's delivery was another story. After the 45 minute wait became 62 min & the driver didn't have change, we waited another 40 for the $18. Did I say the pizza arrived cold & soggy? The store manager was less than enthusiastic in fact he went silent. When asked what would he do he became silent. When I asked he take off the $3. delivery fee, he hesitated & said ok I'll call the driver. Really?? I could have had an apology & been happy!!! Super busy due to the storm and other places being closed, but VERY DELICIOUS CALZONE!! Did the build your own with two toppings & it was awesome - perfect size to share for 2 adults! We went here based on the Yelp reviews...LOVED IT! Great welcome/service, we started w/dinner salad w/house dressing, DELICIOUS (make sure you LOVE garlic, cause there is LOTS in there) - the cheese pizza (VERY good/tasty), and shared baked ziti (YUM)) - as others have said the garlic rolls were GREAT (VERY tasty (NOT dripping in butter). We also went in b/w lunch and dinner times. There was a nice discount, not sure ~20%??? I highly recommend Dominic's and we will definitely be going back soon!! read more

My family had dinner here last night, we were a party of seven. My husband became very ill last night and today my father also told us he's been ill since last night. They both had shrimp dishes. I called the manager to let him know, not to be mean or to get a "freebie" but the manager, whose name is Danny, was unapologetic, unsympathetic and dismissive. We should have known something was wrong before our meal was served because we were being pestered by huge flies, one of which landed in my husbands wine! This did entertain the children for a brief time, but was pretty gross. Our waitress, who was wonderful and efficient, thought this was hysterical as well! We winter in Florida but will never return to this restaurant or it's three other locations. read more

This place was quite excellent. We went on a Friday night, it was busy but well under control. There was no sense of mayhem. The decor was clean, what you expect of an Italian restaurant. They served rolls before the meal which were delicious. But very garlicky so be warned. I ordered chicken franchase and it was perfection. The sauce was buttery and lemony and the consistency was perfect. The chicken was lean and perfectly breaded. So so tasty. The minestrone soup was also good. Food = 4 stars Service = 2 stars This place is a head scratcher for me, which is too bad because the food is actually quite good. Came here last week with a group of 5. For starters there are too many many tables squeezed into the dining room, frankly it is a fire hazard. Booths line the perimeter, tables in the center. So once seated, we were literally blocking a booth next to us and people had to get up (and I mean other diners at other tables) in order for anyone to come and go from my table. If there was ever an emergency, diners in here would be doomed. I started to get claustrophobic at the table. But the worst part of the experience was the waitstaff - everyone from the hostess to the waiter to the cooks - they were just downright miserable. The hostess scowled the entire time and never smiled, not once. The waiter copped an attitude from the second we sat down. We had a group of 5 who ended up sharing the fried calamari app and two pizzas, beer and wine. Maybe we made the mistake of coming here on a Friday night in March - during the height of snow bird season - but that is no excuse for the level of rudeness and the mad rush to get us in and out of there. Some of us were literally on our second slice of pizza and still chewing when they tried to take our plates out from under us and box up the "leftovers" we were still eating. I despise being rushed at restaurants more than anything else. I am conscious of people waiting and I don't loiter. I know we were a table of 5 and only had pizza (vs 5 dinners) but trust me, we weren't a group of old people being pokey! It is too bad because the pizza was damn delicious. We are all from up North and this pie was on par with NY/NJ/CT style. And good pizza is hard to find in FL! The calamari was yummy too, tender and tasty, not at all chewy. But after my dining experience here I am not sure I would come back unless someone else was really dying to come here and it was a Tuesday night. At the end of our meal, one of our group told us a story about how when he came here a few years ago, the waiter and manager chased him into the parking lot to tell him the 15% tip he left wasn't enough... who does that? And more importantly, who goes back to a restaurant where that happened? I wish he had said something beforehand, I never would have come here had I known this. *Note - about a week later we tried Dominic's III on Hypoluxo in Lake Worth to see if the food was the same. Not only was the pizza equally delicious but we had wonderful service. Everyone was friendly and smiling, including the diners. Restaurant is roomy and has a slightly more casual/relaxed feel. Someone told me to try this place out. Last night for the first time I ordered food to go for me and my girlfriend. We ordered the Cappriciosa Pizza and an Antipasto Salad. In FL I notice finding good pizza locally is tough. I can 100% say they have the best pizza in Boynton I have had thus far. Crust cooked perfectly and made with fresh ingredients. We absolutely loved it. The Antipasto Salad had great italian meats and the dressing was awesome!! The vinaigrette dressing was the good kind! Nice and thick like the true italian way. Anytime we are in the mood for pizza, we will be going there. Nice inside to sit down and eat as well. Was greeted in a friendly manner. Tried this place for National Pizza Day. Went in for a takeout order. Ordered a large half pepperoni and half sausage with onions and mushrooms. Very good, but my one complaint is that they barely put any pepperoni or sausage on the pie. Plenty of mushrooms and onions, but very little meat. Also ordered fried mozzarella and that was awesome. Gorgonzola salad and garden salads were huge and their house dressing was delicious, but had bad garlic breath still this morning. Overall very good place, next time I will check the toppings before walking out. Will definitely go back. read more

Amazing mozzarella pizza...delicious, crispy crust and excellent sauce with fresh mozzarella slices and fresh basil. Well worth the experience! Eggplant parm, penne, and stuffed shells are good too. I first ordered this pizza a few weeks back. It was mediocre, greasy and expensive for the lack of quality. I decided to give them another chance so... I Called to order a pizza for takeout and based on the sources online, it said the place was still open. On the phone, I Was greeted by a dickish man with attitude saying the place was closed. I will be back to this restaurant, foods great but the service I received was pitiful. 10-15 minutes after I was sat a server kindly greeted my girlfriend and I and briefly said that our server was busy. I would have rather waited for a table then to be sat and wait for service at the table. Such a tease, especially when your waitress walks by quite a few times before saying "I'll be right with you." The "grandma's pizza" and their minestrone soup are my favorites. Their garlic rolls are also delicious and they keep your basket full. Family friendly with attentive service. Went to this place when I was on vaca in FL. The food was pretty good. It's hard to find authentic italian food. I had the calamari, Caesar salad, and shrimp scampi. The scampi was LOADED with garlic, good thing I like that, I know some people don't. I gave this place 3 stars because the service wasn't so good. It was a young girl and I could just tell she wanted to leave (it was 9 and they close at 10:30. First time there yesterday-Bonefish was our first choice but there was an hour wait. We got there for their early menu-we had the Eggplant Parm and Veal Marsala-both delicious. Wait staff (even busboy) were very attentive to us-made sure everything was ok, refilled water even made a fresh pot of coffee for us! I travel down to West Palm Beach for work at least once a month and this place is seriously legit! Authentic Italian food that I would put up against the big boys in NY. Very difficult to make this review.. Food outstanding, do I come back yes.. my family was sitting having a wonderful lunch when we all watched a cockroach crawl out of the basic. After we were all sickened from what happened.. the Manegmemt comped the food. Weeks after when I came back I mentioned the incident to the manager only to be told it must have crawled in from the side door..it was disheartening to hear and watch this guy say that. This so called "New York style Pizzeria" gets zero stars from this former customer. After last nights visit my friends and I will never go back. Since moving down to Florida from New York I have frequented this establishment several times a month. Not any more!! As the food has always been just "so so" the service couldn't be worse. Danny, whom some how became our regular server, is by far the worst. His self righteous attitude along with his total inability to listen to his customers orders and relay that information to the kitchen has made my trip last night my last. He arrogantly dismisses you, as he speaks over your requests resulting in missed entree orders, wrong orders, late orders and then blames the kitchen. He has never once gotten my order right and always forgets to bring my coffee. As a former restaurant owner I blame management for having such a poorly trained staff. So next time you feel like pizza skip this not so "New York " style excuse for a restaurant. read more
