Has the distinction of having unusual fish along with the typical south Florida favorites (locally caught snapper, tuna, swordfish, group, etc.). We stopped here for the first time and were quite delighted. The staff is plentiful and helpful. Parking is available out front and around back (and there is a back door). I went to their new location and it is very nice and even when busy, it doesn't feel crowded like the old location. There is plenty of parking, and the shopping plaza is easy to get in and out of. Once inside, there is so much more than fresh seafood. There are some cold cases/freezers where you can find everything from small jars of caviar to frozen seafood from across the world. On a wall towards the back, there are dry goods used in seafood meal preparations. They also have an area that sells clothing with various designs of the store name and caricatures. I happened to be craving stone crab claws. They were a little pricy for the quality. Yes, they seemed fresh, but for $25.00 for 4 medium claws where 2 were overcooked, I was not very impressed. The service was very nice but nothing special. They cracked the claws upon request to make them easier and cleaner to serve. I got my claw fix and would not get them again, but maybe I would return to purchase some fresh fish, which they have a great variety. read more

The counter front seafood store can hold just a handful of people...but there service was so fast and pleasant...I was in and out. I went there with one thing on my mind, stone crabs. My go to is octopus and they always save me the biggest baby, cause they now that's my favorite. You can even call ahead of time and they will prepare the (seafood) item the way you like it. Octopus is usually 10$ a pound but it is worth the price. It is sold frozen, cleaned and the tentacles are huge and meaty. Smoked fish dip! Today for the first time I tried the smoked fish dip and let me tell you it is delicious. How is mAde is the fish they don't sell it is smoked and combines with different spices to create the most delicious fish dip I've ever had. There no doubt that this is my favorite seafood market. Oysters are $0.89, and look like great quality. Reed showed me around, explaining how all the fish is from the same day, and what isn't sold is smoked and put in the fridges.
