My family and I have been coming here for years! This really is that old school pizzeria that seems to be falling out but their food is definitely not the reason why. I wish I had some pictures to post but when coming here I am too focused on eating that I hardly ever have time to take photos. Their pizza is a delicious taste of greasy goodness for my tastebuds. They have some rare recipe that makes their sauce some of the best I have had and it never disappoints. I also always wonder where they get their wings, those things are massive and meaty with the right flavors to compliment the meatiness of the wings. We had just arrived from NorCal and were starving. Not wanting to venture too far from my parent's home, we decided to give this neighborhood joint a try. Mind you we have lived in the area for over 4 decades and never been here. Well, they offer a smorgasbord of food that ranges from appetizers, sandwiches, and pizza. That day, items taken to go were a slice of pizza (Hawaiian) meal, roast beef sandwich, and pastrami sandwich. The meal was quite the deal that consisted of a pizza slice, small side salad, and medium soda. The pizza was ok, not anything to "write about". Good neighborhood pizza place. The tomato sauce is sweet, but I think it compliments the ingredients. Sides are also delicious.

When a place this good is down the street from you like this one is you'll be going there all the time. Me and the fam call this place all the time. Now the pizza isn't all that with the sauce being too sweet for my taste. But the sandwiches and the pasta dinners are great. The lunch specials are good and cheap too. The portions are huge. Had some pizza from here the other day -- and it was.....about on par with Dominoes. I don't think I'll be going back. The calzones look decent, but only have one topping. Our family loves Dominguez Pizza! We have been coming here for years. Placed a phone order today for the office and everything was fresh, and hot. My coworkers ordered the Chicken Alfredo with garlic bread. They said it was creamy and yummy. I ordered the BBQ chicken salad and the veggies were fresh, the chicken well seasoned. The ranch dressing is tasty.. Their lasagna with meat sauce is my favorite pasta dish..its really good.. The woman that works the front counter is always very nice and checks to make sure we have everything. They also sell Pizza by the slice if you just want a quick bite. read more

I'm sorry, I have a pizza fetish for what my version of perfection is and this was not it. it was rather on the expensive side too for what was served. I am somewhere between 2 and 3 stars here for the pizza. First off, they do a 2 for 1 deal on pies, so instead of a single large, you get steered toward 2 mediums. I guess this is OK, but it is a bit strange. The Pizza Pizza deal from Little Caesar's was so '90s. The pizzas were OK, but the sauce is a little sweet for my taste and the dough a little bread-y. It is hard to pinpoint, but the last few bites of crust just lose all the flavor and end up tasting like bread, not crust. If I were in the area and in need of a pizza, I would be willing to go back, but it is not so tasty that I would suggest pizza over some other options. read more

Gave them four because there are no half star option. Truly should have been a 3.5. In long beach/Carson for work and stopped near this joint and it smelled amazing so I told myself I'd give it a shot, which is saying something, since I typically eat tacos 2x per day when in this area. All pizzas are 2 for 1. No specials with sandwiches or wings. The pizza is very comparable to Pizza Hut pan or papa johns. I requested crispy crust, but it didn't come out very crispy, but was still quite tasty. The sauce (especially the marinara on other dishes) is absolutely amazing. Probably some of the best I've ever had. Toppings are plentiful. The one downfall seems to be their use of cheap cheese. It's not "stringy" and just pulls off of the crust. I understand this is a cheaper pizza place, but if they splurged just a little bit on cheese it would take it to another level. Over all a great experience. The owner is wonderful, and will openly tell you she is only doing this to support her children. I love a good local place, and would definitely recommend this place to a friend. Give it a shot. What can I say about this place? Great pizza, great pasta plates, great food all around. It's a family owned restaurant. They have a pizza special, but 1 get 1 free. The sauce isn't too sweet, it has a small hint of sweetness which I like. My favorite plate is the lasagna dinner. It comes with a big size lasagna, a salad and garlic bread. Okay so let me get this out of the way first: I am immensely biased about pizza and wings. If you can't understand the simple concepts of how to make good pizza and wings then just don't fucking bother. You're only setting your customers up for disappointment. I have not had their pizza, but their wings were angry little spicy bastards that were unevenly cooked and the sauce was put on before they were cooked. Big pieces of greasy flubby skin fell off of them as you try to find a with with the bone still in tact so you have less chance of biting into a loose piece of bone. ASIDE from the pizza and wings though, they offer sandwiches that taste the way I imagine it would taste to have Jesus nut in your mouth. Their BBQ chicken sandwich is amazing. It is just lettuce, the chicken, and mayo and it is on soft wonderful bread. The sandwich is so good that the shitty wings did not turn me off to the rest of the menu. That should say something as I don't really like wasting my time with bad food places. Don't expect much from the decor or dining in, but if you enjoy light colored wood panelling and seating that is older than you are then you are in for a treat. Well, my family used to own this place so it holds a special place in my heart. The cook bought it from us and the rest is history... It is funny when you think that my Korean family owned a pizza place. We used to sell Mexican food, American, and Italian dishes. Go figure. The cook was from El Salvador and well.. he made some of the best chili verde around. Not sure what they still sell but the salads, pizza and lasagna were my favorites. I gotta give it to this family they maintain two locations well with the same consistency and their basic slice is only 2.10. AWSOME! Really bomb salads and TERRFIC Italian food, which is so HARD to find in Southern California in general. I am a really big Dominguez Pizza fan. I'm just here to talk about the pizza. Freakin fantastic. I came in and ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza, thinking it was pre-made, not wanting to make a fuss out of ordering myself a personal pizza. To my surprise, 10 minutes after ordering, I still hadn't received my slice. Then the waitress came out with a steaming hot, freshly baked SLICE. Crazy! I finally got to chow down at this establishment after the great ratings I've found on Yelp. I ordered a small pastrami and a small bbq chicken sandwich and a small pepperoni. First off, the 2-for-1 pizza deals are great. The pizza tasted fresh and fine but what really got me were the sandwiches. The pastrami here is delicious and the bbq chicken was sweet and tangy. I need to try the wings and the other Italian dishes such as calzones and lasagne. If those measure up on my next visit then I won't hesitate to give this place five stars. So far, things are looking good. Also, the interior is very nice and clean. It doesn't look like it can seat more than fifty people but it's got a nice family feel to it. I visited Dominguez Pizza on 12/4/19 and absolutely loved their pizza. The pizza was made really fast, and I really enjoyed that it was not greasy at all. In addition to the pizza, the raviolis and the chicken sandwiches are delicious. In all honesty everything we had to eat was really good, I don't think you can go wrong with anything there. Aside from the food the other thing that I appreciate and I have to absolutely mentioned is the excellent customer service. Everyone there was very nice and helpful. I stopped by Dominguez Pizza a few years ago and we loved it. Their pizza was amazing and the service was even better. We are back in Carson, CA and we stopped my Domingues Pizza again and once again we left full and satisfied.
