Clarisa never showed. She spent almost 30 min talking to me to understand my needs. I really was excited to try her out. She sounded committed and gave a reasonable price. She had me email her my concerns and information, and she confirmed the date and time. Day of, never showed. Didn't even bother calling or texting in advance to try and reschedule or notify me. I had arranged my day to accommodate her. And she never showed. I normally don't ever write reviews, but this one hurt. I really liked her when I talked with her on the initial call. If she needed to reschedule or cancel, all it took was a call or text. I undertake things come up. When we had our initial chat she even went on to lecture about how she represents the company and that's all that matters to her l, since I had shared my biggest concern was the people I've had coming clean, and their lack of professionalism and consistency. Extremely unprofessional! Clarissa showed up over an hour late with two inexperienced cleaners (2 weeks and less than a month on the job). I left for about two hours only to return to see they had barely gotten started. They were trying to figure out how to clean the oven and going through my trash. As if that weren't awkward enough, it also appears as if someone had been standing on the toilet to clean, as the seat was fractured off the hinges but carefully placed back so I wouldn't notice?! Seriously! Luckily I discovered this during my move out inspection. I sent her a photo of the receipt (of an equal replacement from Home Depot) which she had the audacity to dispute. From my complaint to the Better Business Bureau (pending): The owner, Clarissa, came to my residence and gave me a bid of $200-$250 to do a deep house cleaning. She stated there would be 2-3 cleaners and they would spend several hours cleaning floor to ceiling in all rooms (3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, dining, living); our rooms are not messy as it is just two adults, but they do need basic cleaning. The day before Clarissa was scheduled to come she changed the time and asked me how much she had told me she would charge. Clarissa arrived on time to clean, but it was just her. Clarissa spent less than 3 hours in my home and cleaned the bathrooms and part of the kitchen- but no floors, and she didn't finish the kitchen. I was walking my dog and when I returned there was a note on my counter saying she had an emergency and she would be back later. When I texted Clarissa she said she could return the next morning at 8:30 to finish. The next morning, at 8:20 Clarissa called and said her grandfather passed away and she had to leave town, but she would finish when she returned. 3 days later Clarissa sent a text saying her company had merged with another and to let her know when she could start the regular bi-weekly cleaning. Clarissa said she would send an invoice for the work she had done. Clarissa was not planning to return to finish the deep clean at all. The invoice I received was for $150. I contacted her via email in an attempt to negotiate and stated: In regards to the invoice, there are a few things that should be considered. First off, you were here for 3 hours and you billed me $150; that is $50 an hour which seems quite steep. Second, when we discussed the whole house deep clean you were going to have several people here to clean the entire inside of the home, from floor to ceiling for $200-$250; you billed me $150 for the partial work you did the bathrooms and kitchen (the floors were not done, the fridge (in and around), cabinet fronts, etc was not done but you had told me it would be). Third, your departure had nothing to do with me and I was accommodating to every scheduling change you needed to make. The amount you have billed is unreasonable and unfair. I believe $75 would be more than a fair price to pay for three hours of work in which resulted in much less than we had agreed to. CLARISSA'S RESPONSE: This was a partial deep clean. Not a regular clean. I deep cleaned the kitchen and the 2 bathrooms. I charged you half. You have 7 days to pay. MY RESPONSE: Clarissa, You did not finish deep cleaning those rooms! You didn't finish the kitchen, not even close, and you didn't do the floors in the bathrooms. A DEEP clean cleans floors! Even your invoice states that. Plus, basic math. Half of $200 is $100. I am so disappointed in you personally. I trusted you. Please respond with an updated invoice to reflect HALF of a deep clean- even though you didn't do even that much. This business owner did not provide services as agreed. Clarissa made the whole process a hassle and she is billing me an unreasonable rate for the work performed. Could not agree with these other one star reviews more. Clarissa came and acted all professional at first. Noting things our other cleaner had missed and sounded like she was going to take of everything and more. Her two ladies came, 30 minutes late. Told me it was going to take 2 hours so I left and came back two hours later. They had just come downstairs to clean. My house is not big and there is no reason the upstairs should take 2 hours. I noticed the hallway and stairs weren't vacuumed upstairs either. I was suprised to hear they charge extra to vacuum stairs and a hallway. TOTAL RIP OFF! When they left I looked around and noticed several basic things were not done. Our sliding glass door still had finger prints from our kids all over it. The ottoman was not moved and vacuumed under. The tv had handprints all over it from our kids. Some parts of house were not dusted. The kitchen cabinets were not wiped down and still had grease on them. All of this I was told would be done in her "core" package. Also the stove and microwave basically just had smeared grease on it. It was not clean. I told the owner and she basically said I was lying bc her girls told her they did this stuff. So unprofessional. Then the next day text me and said she would take $10 off the next time they cleaned!! There was not going to be a next time and as far as I'm concerned it should have been free the next time they cleaned or refunded my money for this time. To top it off they broke one of our blinds and just left it sitting on the couch. Cost us 100 to fix. Something they should have been responsible for. I had another lady come and re-clean bc nothing about this cleaning job made me feel like my house was clean. Would never recommend this company and will never use again. Waste of money! read more

Workers are great people. Too bad for the unprofessional owner... caught me off guard and came 1 day before actually scheduled. I was nice enough to have them come since they were already in town and I felt bad if they would have to turn around and go back ... Very friendly workers. I did call and have to have them come clean specific areas I asked for . Came and did great ... But still missed the mirrors in bathrooms Basically owner did not believe me .... I offered to face time her so she can see what I see ... In the end she said she would not provided services for me anymore ( I had already told her I wouldn't hire again when she offered $15 off next services)... Not a huge deal I can clean my mirrors but I should not have to since I paid for the services already....but I only mentioned it to her since she is the owner. And I don't like the things the owner was saying to me or what she was insinuating and how she "handled" the situation. She was quick to turn... Once she realized I had said I may have misunderstood a previous conversation she was quick to turn and changed her attitude and tone of voice all of a sudden after seconds ago talking to me the way she was... FYI she said she sometime records conversations with clients and sometimes has her workers take pictures and or videos of the work done in situations like this.... Well you can get sued if you don't have written permission for either of those. She never asked my permission to record conversation or take pics or video in my home if she did. But I'm not concerned about that since I remember conversations and I know I'm not lying about simple mirrors. Hope they work for u... But did not work for me I did give 2 starts because the workers were great wonderful friendly people The pictures were taken today after coming home for the second time to mirrors like this ... I want to let everyone know that the owner, Clarissa (which is not her real name) is a scam artist who doesn't pay her workers. I work with her for 2 days and was never paid. I had tried to reach her with no luck, and sent her to labor commision office, she never showed up and there I found out she owes about another 5 women money as well. Please do not hire her and if you have any info on where to find her I would greatly appreciate an email or something. I have heard that she has moved out of the Monterey area and is going to start up a new cleaning service in the Sacramento Area, so please be vigilant and aware of her. DO NOT HIRE DOMESTICATED DIVAS, whatever you do. Based on my initial conversation with the owner, Clarissa, I was hopeful that my first experience hiring a professional cleaning service would be worth it. I was so wrong. Clarissa agreed to do a "move out" clean for $200-$250, which we agreed would include cleaning 2 bathrooms, the kitchen, wiping down all cabinets and vanities, vacuuming and mopping the floors, and cleaning mirrors. Clarissa said she would meet me for a formal walk-through to finalize the price; however, she never showed. When I called her, she claimed to be in traffic and apologized and said she would call me in the morning to let me know when her workers would be there. She never called, but one woman in a cleaning shirt appeared in our driveway. The woman spent three hours vacuuming and wiping down counters and dusting some lights. However, when she left, I checked the bathrooms: None of the vanity drawers were wiped out, the kitchen drawers weren't wiped out and the produce drawers in the fridge hadn't even been touched. I called and told Clarissa I was disappointed and she told us she had given us a good deal and had made special arrangements to accommodate our requests. She finally agreed to have her worker return to wipe out the vanities. Forty minutes later, the reluctant worker showed up, wiped out a vanity and received a call from Clarissa, who told her to leave and who then called me and told me I had demanded too much from them. If I could give zero stars I would. I was contacted by the owner after posting on Nextdoor that I was looking for a house cleaner. We were not able to meet in person so we talked over the phone. Went over everything and she gave me a quote. It was higher than I was paying with other companies but she made it seem like they were going to take care of the things I was disappointed with other companies. Boy was I wrong. First off, only one person came to clean. Should have been a red flag when she told me it will take only 2 hours. I come home about three hours later and she has not even touched the downstairs. I had to go back to work but when I came home, the entire downstairs was still not touched! The upstairs was. It even done well. I could have done more in the three hours she spent here. I hired Domesticated Divas to clean my rental on a regular basis back in September. Clarissa was friendly and courteous and we came to agreement on rate. She told me there would be 2 girls cleaning so they'd get it all done in 2 hours. Things went ok for first few cleanings. We had a check off list of what needed to be done, along with pictures. Then we started having little things happen. Supply closet key taken home by cleaning girl, then key was locked IN the closet, toilet paper not restocked and guest ran out, and so on. Clarissa's responsiveness was why I stayed with her after those issues; giving her people an opportunity to learn the house and our expectations. But noticed that the cleaning girls were taking longer and/or showing up later. She once even tried to charge extra saying the girls had to work later one evening. (But the security system showed that they actually arrived several hours late as well.) The last straw was the week before Christmas when no one showed to clean. Clarissa was no longer responding to my calls or texts. When she finally did call, she "guaranteed" that the house would be clean and the cleaning girls were at the house. WRONG! No one showed up in another hour and I only received cryptic texts from her. This resulted in me and my family having to change holiday plans to clean the house ourselves.
