I absolutely very highly recommend DP Helpers. Anthony is so nice and responsible and really cares about getting the job done correctly. During the last huge storm in NYC a water main broke and my car was literally frozen in a block of ice, all the way up to the bottom of the car. I really didn't know what to do. I called Anthony and DP Helpers, and he couldn't have been nicer. He came with his crew of 4 strong guys, and it was impossible to get my car out at first. Well, they kept coming back to the car over the next several days, doing as much as they could each time. They even came by and worked on the ice when I wasn't there. Finally they were able to chop away enough ice to free my car. I can't tell you how grateful I was to have Anthony and his crews' help. They are all good-natured, patient, and truly take pride in their work. I think they saw it as a challenge to get my car out of that block of ice, and they weren't going to stop until they succeeded. I know that they do all kinds of jobs around the home, and I plan to call Anthony and DP Helpers for many projects that I'm not able to do on my own. I'm truly grateful to have found them. Domestic Personal Helpers came to my rescue and did a wonderful job!!! The night before our Passover Seder for 25 people, the person I had hired to help fell and was unable to work. I called at 7 pm on Sunday night and Anthony promised that he could get someone for Monday. It turned out that Anthony himself came. The job entailed serving and clearing the table numerous times, refilling whatever dishes were needed, plating several courses, washing mountains of dishes, glasses, pots, etc, and then cleaning up the kitchen at the end of the night. Anthony was totally professional, worked hard and did whatever we asked of him without hesitation. Overall Anthony had great attitude and was so easy to work with. He didn't leave until the last chair was back in the basement, the last dish was washed, everything was back in place and he seemed to be enjoying what he was doing. They are awesome. I got Anthony's number from a neighbor because I needed to clear a lot of extra soil from my backyard. When I texted, he promptly replied with pricing and availability and we made a plan. They arrived on time and his team of 2 guys worked really hard all day, leveling ground and clearing weeds. I wasn't able to be there and when I returned at 4, it looked great but there was a little misunderstanding that I spoke to Anthony about. I really needed them to remove more soil instead of all the weeding which is someone I can do. Since they needed to come back for another 1/2 day to accomplish this, Anthony gave me a huge discount on the price. It was a ton of work, digging and leveling the ground and carrying buckets and bags of soil through the house. The crew got it done quickly and were also super nice. Anthony was immediately responsive, friendly & professional, and was willing to work with me around my budget limitations--something I found nowhere else. He was so kind and responsible in all communications. Henry and Dominick were the best team I could have imagined. They were prompt & kind and had to troubleshoot on the spot when a recliner barely fit out my apartment door. I have used DPH twice and have been extremely happy with the service. Anthony is very responsive to emails and quote requests. His prices are quite reasonable. His crew is totally professional. They work very quickly and clean up their mess. I had them put up some curtains for me that had to go into a concrete wall and they just put together some dreaded Ikea furniture for me. There is nothing more frustrating than Ikea furniture. They did it in 2.5 hours. It would have taken my husband and I twice as long and could have potentially led to a divorce! I had Anthony and his crew working on a few projects in my apartment. Hanging a TV, a large mirror, coat hangers and a picture. Our house is very old, the studs are not centered, and often crumble, so we needed a real professional to do it. We're so happy with the work they did. Everything looks beautiful. They have been amazing: dependable and thorough, allowing us to never have to worry whether our property will be shoveled throughout this very snowy winter, a comfort to us as we are often away. 09/27/2019 Rear Yard Cleanup Anthony and his crew did a wonderful job of removing debris and other clutter from years of neglect. The crew was very professional. I only regretted that I did not take a before and after photo. The difference was amazing. I almost did not recognize the finished job.
