Hired Laz and Ricardo in an emergency leak situation after a strong storm may 2020. They came around 930-10pm no more than a couple of hours after reaching out. They went above and beyond to detect that the leak wasn't plumbing related per se but caused by a bad seal on the roof line where my sewer vents/plumbing stacks meet the outside. They stayed for two hours and were very thorough. Can't thank them enough. I unfortunately had to hire a roofer to complete the work but I will assuredly be hiring them back for future plumbing needs. Thanks guys!!! I contacted Lazaro for a small job in a bathroom in one of the properties I manage. He gave me a quote over the phone and told me he was going to go to the property the next day. He didnt go so that night I called him again and he said he had a problem with his phone and bla bla bla. We scheduled the app for the following day. He went, fixed the problem and sent me the invoice for $40 more. I reminded him of what he told me over the phone so he changed the invoice. But that same night the tenant called me with another problem, this time in the kitchen so I Lazaro again and for my surprise he kept repeating he didnt do anything wrong and it was not his fault and he refused to go to the property again and check on the new problem. In the meantime he sent me a couple of very rude messages. Not professional at all. First he doesnt show up. Second he charges more than what he told me. And third he doesnt go to check on the new problem. read more

Sent a quote request through Yelp, got a response quickly. After a few back-and-forths, scheduled someone to come take a look at the work that needed to be done and give a quote. I received the email confirmation of the appointment and it did not have the correct scope of work noted and seemed to suggest that the appointment was to actually do the work rather then just provide a quote. After a bad experience of scheduling the work without first getting an in-person quote, leading to what should have been a $175 job costing over $700, I've learned my lessons about that. I sent a Yelp message to Dolphinz clarifying the scope of work and that this appointment was just to provide a quote, and an hour or so later, I received a notification that my appointment had been completed (this was hours before my scheduled appointment). I attempted to follow up via email and through Yelp to determine what happened, but I received no reply and no one showed up during our scheduled appointment time. I'm assuming this company did not want to come out to provide a quote, only to do work, but they did not have even the courtesy to tell me that or reply to my questions to clarify. In retrospect, I'm glad this happened as if this is how they treat prospective customers, I'd hate to see how they treat you once they have your plumbing torn up and you have no choice but to have them finish the work at whatever price they decide they want to charge you. read more

Laz and his wife were very professional. They came in and diagnosed the water heater which ended up needing to be replaced. They were both very knowledgeable and polite. They gave me a very good deal on the new water heater plus filter. I was a little hesitant to give them 2/3 of the deposit before the job was completed but they proved to be trustworthy and the job was completed the same day in a timely manner. Paid $1230 to get our Well Pump replaced. They came on Wednesday to replace it and on Thursday it was not working. Have tried calling dozens of times to no avail. I went to the address I found online and it is a residential home. A woman answered the door and said there is nothing they can do because it was working when they left and that she would tell her husband to call me and still have not heard anything. I put a request in at 830pm to trace a leak in my bathroom, Laz was the first to respond. I didn't decide to use him because he was the first but also because of previous customer testimony. We scheduled an appointment for the following day, he showed up on time, was supper polite and professional. He went through a battery of tests going under my house (crawlspace) inside my house until he was able to locate the leak. He plugged my shower, flooded it then went back under the house with a line camera and was able to see the shower pan was leaking. This guy is young, energetic and is passionate about his work. These guys are thieves. They preformed terrible work. My kitchen sink still leaks and they will not own up to their sub par craftsmanship. Originally they answered the phone and apologized saying they would come fix it right away. Ever since that phone call I can not communicate with them. I'm pretty sure they've blocked my cell number. My water bill was astronomical for the last quarter so I checked around and couldn't see any leaks that could account for that number. I called the water company and they told me to get licensed plumber so I called Dolphinz plumbing. They answered immediately and I explained my problem and told me they will run an complete system analysis for a leak. Lazaro came within the hour after I had called he was finishing another job on a Sunday afternoon. He checked everything from the outside fixtures for leaks , checked water heater with a thermal camera,all the toilets and faucets. Basically anywhere water went. After all that he put a gauge and tested the pressure in the system. He was able to tell me in a written report that I had leaks in the toilets where the water was slowly leaking and I had leak in the outside water fixtures. Also he said there was a build up of sediment that was causing fixtures and valves not to close properly and causing water to seep slowly. We had a broken pipe fitting at our tankless water heater which caused a leak late at night. We were looking for a 24 hr plumbing service to help us and Lazaro answered our questions very late at night and helped with the situation over the phone. The very next morning he came to our house and took care of the issue. We were in need of a bigger water heater as the tankless one we had was too small for the size of house and could not be upgraded without a complete electrical overhaul.
