I was waiting until my eye brows healed so I can have pictures to prove for Stephanie's work of art , I've never had eyebrows just a basic line & drawing them on AND them looking pretty was only for times I was coordinated & had plenty of time in my hands. What better way to celebrate my 30th birthday than to pamper myself with ombre eyebrows. After lurking around on instagram, I came across Dollface Permanent Makeup. Stephanie is licensed and BBP certified. She does ombre, microblade, microshading and removals. Her work on her instagram page really stood out to me so I booked the appointment. It was very easy, she accepts Venmo, Apple Pay, Cash, and major credits cards. You pay a deposit fee and you have the option of paying the full amount anytime prior to your appointment. The studio is not hard to find, its on the second floor and plenty of parking in HB. My initial session was on Feb 3rd, 2019 Super Bowl day haha. We took a lot of pictures, before, during, and after. She will not do anything without your consent. It is about 4 hours total from counseling, to the stencil, and then the actual tattooing process. Service Date: April 2022 + July 2022 (touch up) Service: powder ombre brows Stephanie is worth every penny. Her work is always so beautiful. It's like a piece of art work you get to show off daily. I was lucky enough to get to experience getting my brows done by her as both a client and a demo model. Total disclosure, not getting any benefits to write this review. I just loved my experience so much that I wanted to share. Booking - Super easy and it was also easy to reschedule. Only down side is she's usually super booked so you gotta wait a while to get an appointment unless you get lucky. No one usually cancels their appointment with her either cause she's just that good. Even when I needed to reschedule, all I had to do was text her. Mapping prior to tattoo- Stephanie is always super up front with what she is going to do and why. I like that she takes the time to explain everything to you and makes sure you are happy with what you're going to get throughout the entire process. She is very honest and isn't going to try to force you into a style that won't work with your natural brow shape. She'll set you up with realistic expectations and guidance so you'll know how to manage the new look you want. I absolutely love that she's so clean too. Everything is super sterile and new. I got to listen in on some of her teaching and methods as a demo model. She is so throughout. I know I came in for new brows but I definitely appreciated how much thought and precision she puts into her service. If you ever have any questions or don't understand anything (whether it's about the process, brows, policy,etc), she is always super patient and great at explaining everything to put you at ease. Tattoo experience- I was definitely super nervous going in the first time cause I was so used to not having a shape for my brows that I had no idea what I wanted. She not only helped me create my shape but also calm my nerves about how dark it was going to be afterwards. I'm a little slow, so the fact that this was essentially a face tattoo didn't hit me until I was there getting it. When I was getting my first pass, it hurt a little. But she was gentle and after I got the numbing cream, it didn't hurt at all. I could've probably taken a nap. Healing- Stephanie gave me a kit with an ointment, shower shield, compact towel, and instructions. Her instructions were easy to follow. Despite the urges to scratch my face, I managed to heal nicely. I had colleagues complimenting my brows throughout the entire healing process. They looked so good, people couldn't tell they were peeling until closer to the end. 10/10 would recommend and go back to again. read more

I've gotta be honest when I say as a man I never thought I would be coming into an eyebrow salon. My natual eyebrows are pretty full however they did get pretty sparse around the arches and tails. I figured it wouldnt hurt and look into brow tattoos since its "all the craze" anyways. I just needed reassurance that I wouldnt look too "groomed", and unnatural. But Steph pulled off the perfect balance, and was very considerate with my concerns when designing my eyebrows. Gotta say, I'm actually very pleased with the results. Stephanie slayed my eyebrows! I previously had it microbladed once with. Different artist and never went back for a touch up. I found Stephanie and I wished I came to her first! She was very helpful and patient with me when we were doing the outlining before the initial procedure.
