Most if the time they have snacks and other stuff that you can taste from, they have pretty much everything you could ask for. Food, clothing, cleaning products, some furniture, and also a pretty sweet fast food "resto". The menu is pretty basic but I'm sure that's a huge money making profit for the company. Im still living with my parents ( for now ) and I dont need a card yet, but I'm getting one as soon as I leave. They have just everything and its a great place if you want to stock up on thing. Want to have a bag of chips that you could feed Africa with, they have it! Back in the States, I had been looking for some hooks for the condo and I found a bunch of them at this Dollarame on the Plateau. I got a few to take back home with me. That is the thing about dollar stores, sometimes the inventory varies from day to day and also from store to store...it's like a gamble...but if you get lucky, take advantage of it. Thank goodness for this Walmart because it's not just a Walmart, it's basically a Super Walmart with groceries and the standard Walmart goods. There's a large parking lot and it's pretty busy. We were able to get a salad mix that came with greens, toppings and dressing. It was the best thing I ate. Not best thing EVER but when you're wanting some vegetables, anything is delicious at that point. Now you're wondering why the 3 stars? Well it was so packed. There were so many people there. I guess it's Christmas time so a lot of folks are expected to be around. I just felt really....surrounded. And this doesn't help that we were knee deep in omicron surge. We easily checked out in the self checkout area which is what we tend to do when it's available. Otherwise, it's basically your typical Walmart. Each Costco you go to has local items so Canada of course had a lot more pastries and poutine. Yes, poutine in the food court and packs to make some at home. They also had mini chocolate croissants, nutella filled beignets....and I was surprised they still had the Kirkland hazelnut spread! Ugh, we've been wanting this forever since it disappeared in California. It's better than Nutella in our opinions. The layout was foreign of course, so we didn't explore a whole bunch but noticed that the wine/liquor area wasn't as large. The lines here weren't long and check out went fairly quickly. Overall it was a fairly calm Costco which is amazing and some regional specialties is always fun. Definitely check it out!

I know for a fact that the regular membership is $55. there is a second one that is in the hundreds but I don't know how exactly it is. I have to mention that Costco has an awesome return policy so if ever you are not satisfied with one of the product they are really flexible. I bought a dog food that my dog didn't like and it was easy for me to trade it. Now let's talk about the shopping so Costco has a little bit of everything from expensive jewelry's to electronics like laptops computers, cameras, tv. Honestly Costco has almost anything you could find. If there was a zombie a Apocalypse. This would be the place you would want to be. They offer a lot of services for example they have a garage, optometrist, photo center and also a pharmacy. Some of them even have gas station and the gas is always a few cents cheaper for some reason. Would definitely recommend the oil change They have a great price. Also if you need a passport picture. Great price! I often go to Costco for the fruits and vegetable. Not always the best price but definitely the freshest in the region. I would definitely recommend coming in with a friend and then splitting the food if you live alone. This is the perfect spot for all families.

You can easily lose yourself in this place and there's a lot of things you can buy on the cheap. My only gripe with this Walmart is the overabundance of staff walking around yet so many displays can be empty. For example, I wanted to buy some batteries and when shown where it was by a member of the staff we both noticed the entire section for it was nearly empty except for a few select batteries I didn't need.

Since there were several exceptional occurrence I put five stars since those staff members deserve it. I won't lessen it for the one disappointing staff member or perhaps that would be worthy of its own review, so again sticking to the good for now. One specific time I was looking for basic kitchen items like utensils and dishes etc. and the person in that department really went above and beyond what you'd expect to help me find what I was looking for and also gave useful opinions of the various items. Another time it was the store manager who was extraordinary accommodating. On even another visit to the pharmacy section the staff member helped me find and go over the differences of a few products which was very helpful. Again above the average good service. It's always refreshing to have these types of experiences in such a huge store, where poor service can sometimes be expected or par for the course. I now remember another good team member who helped at the checkout, when I had a couple of questions. They didn't just brush me off - which sadly it almost feels like at other times. So again focusing on the exceptional this time and we can debate the one apple proverb later.
