Upside is there's a village des valeurs nearby so if you don't find anything you can walk 5 minutes and try another thrift store.

A very nice clerk told me I had 2 weeks to return for a full credit. it was missized. I went back the next day and was told no return policy and could exchange it for another item. There was no getting around it. This was their policy and that was that. I was so angry, I really liked this tshirt, but it wasn't my fault that it was missized. Obviously, it was a one of a kind. I ended up picking up 2 items from another department to make up the. cost, but swore never again to buy anything and go make sure go pass along their wonderful customer service attitude.

As it turns out, the prices and selection here look to be competing with Eva B prices (for real) maybe even church basement flea market prices. Additionally, the space remains as cute as its Allo Vélo days with an equally adorable family running the show. Here's an account of my first, wicked good, haul: -one brilliant vintage ladies golf shirt ($3) -a nice beige knit top ($2) -a sweet vintage wool plaid men's jacket ($5) -almost-new huaraches ($3) And they threw in a free slice of cake. The new space on Boulevard Saint-Laurent is gorgeous, and much easier to shop (as in no squatting down to look at racks) and has much more room in general. They've kept a few small elements of the old place (hilarious vintage decor) which I'm very happy about, because honestly, it was the second best part of the store! The quality of the vintage stock seems to have improved, in that the less interesting flimsy modern pieces are pretty much gone. Not much else has changed other than the name/branding ( Local x annex) -- they still do their 30% and 50% markdowns, and the pricing seems about the same.
