The mall itself has amazing stores and yummy restaurants (Valentine poutine- YUM), is very clean and is the first mall I've been to that has a breastfeeding room! It is just a small stall with a chair in it, with an adjoining room for kids to sit and play. It was nice to see a room for women like myself who have babies they need to take care of without having to be on display to the whole mall (although I bf in public anyway too). I will say though, for any parent with kids who want to try the Virtual Reality, be aware of who is working one of the stations. While we were there, there were two tall men who were very courteous. There was another shorter man working the other station. I am not sure if he is a permanent or seasonal employee, but his actions made us pull our son out of the line, complain and ask for our money back. Our Son is 8. In the 3 minutes he was in line, this man reprimanded him for not looking him in the eyes, said "we just passed Remembrance Day but you want to play a shooting game? Why don't you sign up for the army or military instead" (I didn't want him playing that one but don't OFFER a shooting game then), and when he asked what smash meant, he said "it's what your mommy and daddy used to do". That is when we left. It was COMPLETELY inappropriate. So, parents, just be careful. I'm glad our Son isn't old enough to understand what the man meant. Other than that one experience, we've had amazing times at this mall and we enjoy going.

This liquidation store offers a wide assortement of goods ranging from food, toys, household (bedding, decorations, kitchenware..) clothing and electronics. It is essentially a discount store that sells refurbished items that were normally sold at Costco for example, food that could be close to their best before date, discontinued items, "rejects" and other mistmatched goods. Most items are new and in great, unopened conditions. Other times the packaging could be damaged without affecting the quality of the item. There are many similar liquidation/outlet centers within the city that offer these types of deals, but this particular location caught my eye because they sold things I've never seen elsewhere. For example, they had frozen Mcdonalds chicken nuggets - a 1 kilo bag for 10$, which was roughly 50 nuggets. These are the real thing served at Mcdonalds restaurants and came directly from the supplier. We baked them at home and it was a hit - the whole family loved them! It's a fun place to shop if you want to come often since it's like a treasure hunt. You never know what you'll find. We ended up also buying some cheap Keurig coffee Kcups, chocolates some beauty items and a blanket. Small family run business with great service. If you like finding a deal and are in need of a gift at a good price come here!

I visited Walmart to get some groceries on Saturday January 29, 2022 and here were my observations…read more Nothing much has changed for the most part since my last review (back in 2016) in terms of stock and shelves. One thing I noticed is that they now have free WiFi which is good. Also, at the period that I showed up, vaccination passports were required to enter. I'm not going to get into the politics of it and since this is a government mandate, my review doesn't really take this into consideration (it would be like giving a restaurant which is closed because of government mandate a bad rating). In any event, upon entering the store, there were roughly 2 Walmart employees in the front checking for the vaccination passport of customers. The line up to get into the store wasn't bad and inside, I didn't notice any reduction in customers based on when they didn't have the vaccination passport mandate. They have self checkout and I would say that the majority of customers are "pushed" into the self checkout line. There are 2 manned cash registers at the time that I went but the line up behind this seemed long and people who were waiting in these lines generally had full carts. In terms of grocery prices, Walmart's prices aren't the best except when they have items on special. They also no longer offer price matching. When shopping for groceries at Walmart, I'll generally just buy the things on special. This Walmart doesn't have a McDonald's inside and has a pharmacy.

Needless to say I wasn't going to bother with some cheap a$$ faux mocassins somewhere else, I knew I had to find the place we originally bought them. I could not remember the name of the place nor exactly where they were in town and so instinct was my driver. The first turn was right, but then I lost myself somewhere down the unmarked residential streets of town and had just resigned myself to heading back home over the bridge, with the intention of just telling my bf about the thoughtful gift I couldn't quite get on Christmas morning. When what to my wondering eyes did appear: " Wolf's Den, Mocassins, Gifts, Beads etc. ", instinct took the wheel and signaled left and turned in. I was not at all on the road I remembered it being on and first turned down. I had only gotten there because I got lost and decided to give up and go home empty handed. Christmas miracle folks. I walked in.. And knew I was in the right place. The service was fabulous, they were happy to hear my tale about their mocassins lasting over 10 years and to help me find a brand new pair. Then they told me it's an extra 10% off (on top of tax being included) for the last week before Christmas sale! They totally could have charged full price and I would have been happy to oblige. On top of authentic mocassins at super reasonable prices, they also sell plenty of beading material, furs for crafting, jewellery, clothing, souvenirs etc. Definitely worth checking out! I will be back, sooner rather than later to replace my own pair too!

I know, how random but the kids loved it so we had to stop. The shop is full of knick knacks displayed from floor to ceiling. The curvy, windy aisles lead you to the adult material mags in the back. The Levi's wedgie cut was pretty close to what I was looking for but they unfortunately did not carry my size in the wide leg cut. Worth a visit if in the area but wouldn't go out of my way.
