Practical Neighbourhood Mall. Perfect for Essentials…read more Les Jardins Dorval is an underwhelming shopping mall on the edge of a residential neighbourhood, and does its job in so far as it has a lot of family conveniences and essentials -- a Walmart, SAQ, Pharmaprix, etc. If you're looking to do some recreational (or therapeutic) shopping, though, there's not much to see here. In fact, if you don't live in or frequent the neighbourhood, you'd be hard-pressed to find an excuse to spend your shopping dollars here.

I've been to the Dorval Mall with her a dozen times, and she…read morewent to check it out again this week, so I asked her to report back on how it's doing: "I was so impressed they've redone the floors and it's nice and bright now. Lovely. The floors were as shiny as anything, I felt like I was walking on marble. The stores... nice. I didn't go in all of them, only in a few because I was in a hurry. Don't ask me because I didn't go round the whole place. I've been there before and it was a little depressing but boy it was nice and bright and shiny. i like the jewelry stores.. oh i was in the little luggage shop, I was very impressed with the quality of the luggage and the prices were very good. The one by the post office, their prices were very good. That's not where I bought my luggage though. I bought mine at Walmart. They have a big pharmacy, and the Bay is in there... Overall I'd go back there to shop and I'd spend a lot more time."

This mall is kinda sad. The selection of stores is quite minimal and with covid, even more stores…read moreclosed. The positive side of that is that is there is a lot less people so I'm never worried about the 2m when I go buy things because there's lots of space. I also think for what they have, you will find all your essentials at least and there is a post office as well to pick up packages.

The mall itself has amazing stores and yummy restaurants (Valentine poutine- YUM), is very clean and is the first mall I've been to that has a breastfeeding room! It is just a small stall with a chair in it, with an adjoining room for kids to sit and play. It was nice to see a room for women like myself who have babies they need to take care of without having to be on display to the whole mall (although I bf in public anyway too). I will say though, for any parent with kids who want to try the Virtual Reality, be aware of who is working one of the stations. While we were there, there were two tall men who were very courteous. There was another shorter man working the other station. I am not sure if he is a permanent or seasonal employee, but his actions made us pull our son out of the line, complain and ask for our money back. Our Son is 8. In the 3 minutes he was in line, this man reprimanded him for not looking him in the eyes, said "we just passed Remembrance Day but you want to play a shooting game? Why don't you sign up for the army or military instead" (I didn't want him playing that one but don't OFFER a shooting game then), and when he asked what smash meant, he said "it's what your mommy and daddy used to do". That is when we left. It was COMPLETELY inappropriate. So, parents, just be careful. I'm glad our Son isn't old enough to understand what the man meant. Other than that one experience, we've had amazing times at this mall and we enjoy going.

I have shopped here twice. The first time was in April 2015. I noticed this outlet area while…read moredriving over to Montreal and made a mental note to visit. I revisited the outlet again last September. I am a Gap girl. I like the fact that I can get casual clothing at decent, reduced prices at any Gap outlet. This one is no exception. Both times, I bought some wonderful pieces. I fondly recall getting a jean skirt that had wonderful Lycra stretch to it. I got it for $10! The last time I was there, I got many nice articles of clothing, including a lightweight t-shirt that had various attractions in San Francisco, and a navy blue knitted cardigan with a hoodie. The first time I was there, I recall the male staff member cashing me out and how friendly he was. I bought a lot of items, but didn't break the bank. He gave me $50 worth of Gap cash, which you can redeem a bit later. I redeemed the $50 at the Gap outlet in Ajax. The woman there thought it was cool to see Gap cash entirely in French! I had the same experience the last time I was at the outlet. The woman was friendly and helpful. I love this location. It is my go-to place when I am nearby. (30)

I came in time of no extra sales but everything was generally 30% off compared to other stores. They have a well equipped women's, children's and man section. I saw some maternity items, but no gym clothes. Clearance items were not as many as I expected from other stores. I got some great mans shirts, that I wasnt willing to pay full price for in the store downtown. Other great thing I didnt know about: If you own a special Gap Bag, you get another 15% off on all the items, just ask at the register!
