Fairview Mall is a cute mall off of st jeans and it's one of the biggest malls around the west island I've been coming around to this mall for over a decade and it never disappoints they always add extra stores and try to keep up with the demand of their shoppers. From The food court .. that has been completely renovated to stores that have unfortunately closed down ( Sears java U and deco découverte going bankrupt a lot of stores in the past) but they always make sure to re-open new stores and bring in what the demand is looking for. The starbucks is always insanely busy and so is the apple store lol... they are always constantly changing and bringing new things. I love how they even have a pharmacy if you need to get some medication. They even have a passport canada service office so thats cool They got lots of great shopping options for clothing electronics and much more The parking at the mall is alright .. not always easy but theres a lot of space in the back of the mall facing the highway It's a fun place to lose yourself and I definitely recommend this place !

While this is not my go-to mall, everything seems to work for me here as the selection of stores and layout makes it a breeze to pass some time. The location is pretty easy to access from the highway (unlike the Carrefour Laval), the food court selection is decent but seating area could use some freshening up. The washrooms are easy to access and parking is a breeze. They get an extra star for having a large Winners/Homesense as well as a Kegs Steakhouse attached. Yay

    Center atrium... Very large!

the lady employee was horrible with customer service. Refused to print a shirt because her emotional status was that of a child.

Big bummer is stores closing their doors at 5pm on weekends, but a nice mall with ample amount of stores.

It is one of the nicer malls around my area, however Carrefour Laval in my opinion is still the champion.

It's a one stop shop. Metro, rbc, saq, pharmacy etc…read more The best part about this little mall is my hairdresser Moving here. It's closer than the original location which is a plus. They have a bar and a few little restos nothing fancy but if you're bored and want something to eat you're in luck. There's a little area to sit in eat not big but either is the mall. The sandwich shop is pretty good from what I remembered. A little revamp for the floors and the place would look brand new.

You know, this strip mall is kind of outdated but it has a bunch of really interesting stores…read more There is Papillon, a large natural foods store (where I recently purchased some agar powder to attempt making the Japanese water drop cake). There is a candy store next to it that sells a bunch of imported British candies and other goodies. There's a Viennese bakery with cakes and breads and imported European candies and a lunch counter that seems to be quite popular (oddly, one of the things it had was Jamaican patties). Wendy's dance shop has all your needs for ballerinas-in-training. Ted's Hobby Shop is a classic for crafty folk. There's also a collector's shop that I used to buy interesting coins from and has Beanie Babies for sale (remember those?). There's a Christian bookstore if you need some Bibles or inspirational goods. There's also a big modern Metro and Uniprix and a bar for the rest of your needs. Just don't expect much from the 'food court' - basically the Viennese bakery and only one other fast food place. Don't discount this mall... you just might find a hidden gem.

This is a very sad strip mall. I've been living here since…read morebefore it was built, so I notice alot of things here. The businesses here NEVER survive, when oddly enough the resedential area it's in are not poor people. Such a shame really. I never understood why they decided to put another outdoor strip mall. People hate walking in and out of stores here because of the cold! There are just not enough different or pertinent shops here to make it worth visiting on a regular basis. I think the only thing that will survive here is the Tim Hortons because there's a drive through and it's conviniently located near the entrance/exit so it's great for people heading out to work. And the vetenarian hospital/clinic? because most pets don't do well in long car trips. My usual vet is a 10 min drive away, which eventhough that's awesome, it's still a strain on my pets, so this much shorter drive is pretty much heaven for us. I can only imagine similar gratitude from the rest of the pet owners in the neighborhood. Each store they have ever had here was a good store. Just there wasn't really a point to going to it because the same store and even type of stores were also available up at Fairview, which was not far at all, and we'd much rather enter an indoor location to visit multiple stores, instead going in and out all over the place. It's a bad duplicate. Don't see the point in this at all. The movie theater is sadly not helping the surrounding stores. Half of the west-island comes here to see their movies, yet they're not being allured to the shops nearby, because movies are a night event, when shops are closed... this really was not properly thought through. If there's not going to be enough variety in shops here to give people a reason to want to explore it over and over again, than they should just stick to basic needs, and be practical to actually give the area what it needs so people have a reason to come back. The trampoline place at least gives some nightlife during popular moving going hours, so that has potential. How about more restaurants? there were 2 similar restaurants competing against eachother in this location, and one finally gave up, but that was stupid to even bother. Why be similar in the first place? They should have been completely and clearly different types of food to accomodate the area, and give variety. I hope the new gym stays. Would make sense to bring an athletic atire and equipement store as well as healthier choice restaurant or even smoothie shop. Would just make sense and actually compliment the other stores there. Subway is a decent healthy selection, love how they're a fast food burger/Asian right next to it lol Keep these. No need for clothing stores here. Really. Like no. Come on. Common sense. They'll ever be able to have as much variation as Fairview that's too close by. The clothing stores here were known to be good outlets for popular stuff, but they eventually each always kept going out of business because people who like warehouse prices for clothes can now just get more variety online. No point for clothes here at all, like I said. The dollar store is new... I have no idea how that will work out honestly. I wish it the best. Was a glasses store here. Why come here when they have actually multiple ones at fairview. Not a good idea when they're targetting people with cars. Had a spa/salon, which wasn't very different from other spas all over mtl... they should have gone big and make it a spa center or even a water spa, or combine it with the gym that came later on. The depaneur is a great idea, but it's sadly a hidden secret! And going out of business, as much patience at they have... I'm sure the pizza place is on it's last leg. The end buildings there was very badly desgined, literally hidden from plain sight. Unfair to make it this way when they had a clear slate to build on. Your website doesn't show off what's available here. It looks CHEAP and unpleasant. Needs to be more appealing to shoppers as a good base and to support more stores. Too much to ask for a second level and to make into an actual indoor connected mall, right? haha xp ok ok... I'd still love to see this location become a nice regular hang out asap.
