The positive side of that is that is there is a lot less people so I'm never worried about the 2m when I go buy things because there's lots of space. I also think for what they have, you will find all your essentials at least and there is a post office as well to pick up packages.

The mall itself has amazing stores and yummy restaurants (Valentine poutine- YUM), is very clean and is the first mall I've been to that has a breastfeeding room! It is just a small stall with a chair in it, with an adjoining room for kids to sit and play. It was nice to see a room for women like myself who have babies they need to take care of without having to be on display to the whole mall (although I bf in public anyway too). I will say though, for any parent with kids who want to try the Virtual Reality, be aware of who is working one of the stations. While we were there, there were two tall men who were very courteous. There was another shorter man working the other station. I am not sure if he is a permanent or seasonal employee, but his actions made us pull our son out of the line, complain and ask for our money back. Our Son is 8. In the 3 minutes he was in line, this man reprimanded him for not looking him in the eyes, said "we just passed Remembrance Day but you want to play a shooting game? Why don't you sign up for the army or military instead" (I didn't want him playing that one but don't OFFER a shooting game then), and when he asked what smash meant, he said "it's what your mommy and daddy used to do". That is when we left. It was COMPLETELY inappropriate. So, parents, just be careful. I'm glad our Son isn't old enough to understand what the man meant. Other than that one experience, we've had amazing times at this mall and we enjoy going.

However, now that I subscribe to certain streaming services, I no longer go to Dollar Cinema as often as I used to. I found myself in Decarie Square since I needed to get something done with my driver's license and this was the most convenient SAAQ which was relatively accessible by public transportation and between where I live and where I work. There aren't a lot of places that I would go to at this shopping center. It has free underground/level parking so you can either park in front of the shopping center or you can park in the underground/level parking area. The only 3 places in this mall that I might go to when I'm in the area is the Dollarama, the Dollar Cinema, and the SAAQ if I need something specific to them. This mall is also not as nice looking as some of the other malls that I've been to (such as Rockland, Fairview Pointe-Claire, Place Vertu, etc.). I would say that it is at roughly the same level/category as the Cote Des Neiges mall.

Food court is so much better than it use to be. Enjoyed a meal at Souvlaki Bar and Grillades Torino. The sausage bowl was good and had lots of items inside of it, such as rice, lettuce, corn, olives, pickled peppers, pickles, spicy mayo, garlic sauce, onions and more. The chicken souvlaki from Souvlaki Bar was some of the best chicken I've had, great taste and the pita was also very good.

I was more concerned about my wife than myself. We made THREE trips to Montreal $'s and two to Dr Roy. My wife had injections to AVOID SUGERY that lasted two weeks. She was told by Dr Roy that if this didn't work he had other options he could try. Pain is back full tilt! Called Dr Roy and they wouldn't let me get through to him for my wife. She's having bad side effects. So I go online to make another appointment! A very very rude male nurse calls her to only LECTURE her on the Dr's Position. He only does injections and does not follow up on patients or call them she was TOLD. So we don't get to here what the other options were and why she's having these severe side effects that she's never ever had before. What a coincidence. We flew three times to Montreal to see a specialist only to get a rude nurse trying to pass her off. Told her to see her own Dr here in Sydney. My pain for myself is healing both neck and back so I'm the lucky one. I paid $750 for a five minute talk with a promised follow up call when he received my spine MRI. By email, LONG STORY but no call was made the rude male nurse flicked me off.I really don't care about myself and getting ripped off $750 what I care about is my poor wife that is now experiencing 9/10 pain and being talk to rudely by a nurse who couldn't care less. Sorry to rant but the general public should be aware. We are back to the drawing board after me putting all my faith into Rockland clinics. Very disheartening and disappointed! I TRUSTED THEM.

Plaza Cote des Neiges is basically one of the older shopping malls on the island of Montreal or at…read moreleast it appears to be. There is plenty of parking at the mall and they also have leveled parking. Whenever I go here by car, I will generally try to park in the leveled parking lot as opposed to parking in the parking lot which is out in the open. The reason for this is if it rains, I don't have to get wet when I go to/from my car and if it is sunny, my car doesn't get too hot from parking for a few minutes to over an hour under the bright sun. The only big recognizable store names at Plaza Cote-des-Neiges (in my opinion) is Canadian Tire, a Walmart Supercenter, and a Dollarama. They do have a lot of mobile/cellular stands or storefronts (Rogers, Fido, Videotron, Koodo, Virgin Mobile, & L'espace Bell). There is also a La Source. There is a discount movie theatre that shows movies that have played for a few weeks or a month or so at one of the bigger theatres but haven't been released on DVD yet. The price is ~$5.00. I used to go to the movie theatre that was there before when there were 3 major movie theatre companies in Montreal (Guzzo, Famous Players, and Cineplex Odeon) and I believe that this theatre was a Cineplex Odeon back in the day. I haven't tried this discount movie theatre out but might give it a try one of these days when I have the time. With some of the longer movies, you have to be careful about parking since there are signs indicating that there is a 3 hour parking limit. There is also a very large Asian grocery store in this shopping mall. In the food court, you won't find any of the big fast food restaurant names that you might find in food courts in the newer malls. A quick look at the food court showed what I would classify as ethnic small/independent fast food restaurants (so no McDonald's, A&W, Kojax, Tiki Mings, Thai Express, etc. here). I come here maybe once every 3-4 months just because I'm in the area. When I am here, I generally visit the Walmart Supercenter, Dollarama, and the Canadian Tire here. This shopping mall is dated when compared to the newer shopping malls on the island of Montreal. I would give them 3 stars.

If you decline by phone call, the manager will hang up on you multiple times and call you back to deliver undesirable news, to then hang up on you again. They will even blackmail you by removing your wheels and keeping your keys (speaking from personal experience).
