I'm a fan of this brand, and this seems to be the only New Balance store in the Montreal area, and…read moreit's an outlet. I was hoping to find some good deals, and while the deals and discounts did seem great (stacked discounts of i believe 30% off of already sale-tagged item prices) - I personally found the selection of items to be lacking. I tried on a few pieces of clothing, but none of them were quite the right fit for me, which I did not expect. I have trouble finding clothes that fit well, but with New Balance I can usually find *something* that is nice, stylish, and suits me well. On this day, however, I left empty handed...though they seemed to have plenty of buyers and back-to-school shoppers while I was there. I don't think I would personally go out of my way to go back to this location, as there wasn't as much clothing as I hoped there would be and the store was a bit smaller than New Balance stores I've been to in the past. Ultimately: not for me, but I would still recommend it to others people if they're in the area as the prices were great.

You have everything a corner store have but no brand that you really know. (Expect in the food aisle) If you go camping and need an extra swimsuit, lotion, marshmallows and a pan this is your place. The prices are really hit and miss. By example bacon can go as low as 1.99 a pack. But because there is no groceries around some items are on the pricier side. But never by a huge margin.

Anyway, so I was first introduced to Treasure Hunt at Dixie Mall in Mississauga. It's a big outlet store with everything from clothes and shoes, to toys, housewares, bicycles and tools. In my opinion, a lot of their stuff is junk, but there are hidden gems for those with the time and patience to look. When I was there, they had some Banana Republic dresses for $30. They also had lots of Athleta (the athletic wear brand owned by The Gap) pieces for $4. They also had lots of brands that were of no interest to me though, like George from Walmart and Merona from Target, so I had to wade through those, but hey "treasure hunt" is the name of the game, right? ;) Admittedly, the cool stuff was only in sizes 00-4 and XXS-S, so good for the likes of me, but if you are a larger size, you may not have the same luck. They had lots of discount toys, but most of the boxes were opened or pretty bunged up. I was at the Brockville location a few weeks earlier, and the selection at that store was better in my opinion, and the prices were lower for certain things too. Anyway, if you like outlet/discount/liquidation type stores, then you'll probably like Treasure Hunt. It's definitely not for everyone, lol. Lots of free parking in the plaza.

There's parking right out in the front and when we went there were plenty of spaces. Inside they have fruits and veggies as well as other frozen and fridged food. They do have fresh maple donut holes which we did end up buying alongside an apple pie, cranberry apple pie and maple sugar pie. They do have one restroom in the back if you do need to take a little pit stop. The woman there was quite friendly and the place definitely felt like you're going to a neighborhood small grocery store. The maple sugar pie was ultra sweet and the cranberry apple was sweet but at least it was tart to balance. The maple donut holes and apple pie were the winners for me. I believe the donut holes were made from potato flour so it was savory and sweet. Overall, it's a nice spot to take a quick pit stop and grab some snacks and desserts before heading back to Montreal.

They specialize in loads of different dessert pies a huge selection of apple, blueberry, tarte au sucre, fresh doughnuts and many many other offerings. These delectable delights are in the room on the right side when you enter. If you walk to the back area in the main building they have freezer section of prepared foods in various sizes and a huge selection. My fave are the chicken pot pies. They are not chalky and lacking filling as I've had with grocery store varieties. Their chicken pies are creamy and packed full of veg and generous chicken serving. I've also had their tourtiere du Lac St Jean and it was loaded with meat and a few different kinds of potatoes! They also have various tourtiere, frozen pasta meals, cabbage rolls and loads of stuff your grandma may have specialized in. It's Sunday night comfort food! All delicious. There is a fresh fruit and vegetable produce area and also lots of jams and jellies that are great to discover. They make a great small gift. These types of country stores are a real gem. I googled some of the prices on some of the boxes and I found their charging full price when I asked the lady working about this. She says that's the price they have to charge when I pointed out that she's not giving a discount like written on the front of the store, she said I could buy it there today or I can order it from Amazon and wait two days, everyone that goes to that store to use their cell phone to check their prices when you buy things from a liquidation store it doesn't come with a factory warranty I'm gonna go back in the store today and check out the prices and hopefully I could change these reviews and it was a mistake

This liquidation store offers a wide assortement of goods ranging from food, toys, household (bedding, decorations, kitchenware..) clothing and electronics. It is essentially a discount store that sells refurbished items that were normally sold at Costco for example, food that could be close to their best before date, discontinued items, "rejects" and other mistmatched goods. Most items are new and in great, unopened conditions. Other times the packaging could be damaged without affecting the quality of the item. There are many similar liquidation/outlet centers within the city that offer these types of deals, but this particular location caught my eye because they sold things I've never seen elsewhere. For example, they had frozen Mcdonalds chicken nuggets - a 1 kilo bag for 10$, which was roughly 50 nuggets. These are the real thing served at Mcdonalds restaurants and came directly from the supplier. We baked them at home and it was a hit - the whole family loved them! It's a fun place to shop if you want to come often since it's like a treasure hunt. You never know what you'll find. We ended up also buying some cheap Keurig coffee Kcups, chocolates some beauty items and a blanket. Small family run business with great service. I revisited the outlet again last September. I am a Gap girl. I like the fact that I can get casual clothing at decent, reduced prices at any Gap outlet. This one is no exception. Both times, I bought some wonderful pieces. I fondly recall getting a jean skirt that had wonderful Lycra stretch to it. I got it for $10! The last time I was there, I got many nice articles of clothing, including a lightweight t-shirt that had various attractions in San Francisco, and a navy blue knitted cardigan with a hoodie. The first time I was there, I recall the male staff member cashing me out and how friendly he was. I bought a lot of items, but didn't break the bank. He gave me $50 worth of Gap cash, which you can redeem a bit later. I redeemed the $50 at the Gap outlet in Ajax. The woman there thought it was cool to see Gap cash entirely in French!
