As soon as you walk in you realize this isn't your average thrift store. The store is well laid out, organized and has that fantastic smell of used gear (but in a good way); it all brings back good memories of the past. They have a good assortment of records (yes vinyl is making a comeback). And they are dirt cheap; mostly costing less than a buck! I picked up two records and it cost me a toonie. How great is that!! The store shelves are organized in a great way, great friendly and inviting owners, wonderful jazz music was playing in the background, housewares, books, clothing, toys, electronics and even furniture were available to snap up. The dates and date chocolates were purchased last year, the other goodies just before daughter returned home from this recent stay. All purchases were gifted to us as soon as she was back home. We now know why the granddaughter enjoys to shop at this store, and wished her Mom to see it. And 'wow' to the selections made to come home to our place!! The dates and date chocolates have long since been enjoyed. But we savoured each piece as a "special treat", and attempted to make all of them last for as long as we could -- not an easy task! It is obvious that effort goes in to make sure that stock is not junky or dirty. Staff and volunteers are very willing to help and prices are better than most second-hand stores. Fun to check out the on-going silent auction of artwork, jewelry, collectibles, etc. Furniture tends to sell very quickly because of the prices and value. Several stores and businesses donate to it as well as ordinary folk decluttering or downsizing. You can find everything from Ikea to antiques.

Parking has been no problem whenever I've gone, though I tend to go in the evening. I find this store easy to navigate, and the racks tend to be organized/well looked after. The few times I've been here I've found it to have good selection and I have always been able to find my size in what I am wanting. The staff here seem helpful and the do offer to grab alternate sizes if something doesn't fit when you're trying it on. I find Gap Factory clothes tend to fit a bit different and have different cuts and material qualities than original Gap (I actually googled this and see that Gap Factory clothes are made specifically for Gap Factory only), and I find some things are better than others when shopping at Gap Factory.I tend to find myself heading to the factory store if I need some basic tee's for layering, jeans and cardigans.
