Hello, I want to share the terrible experience of my life with Aldergrove Furniture. In June 2020,…read moreI spent around $12,000 on two king-sized bedroom sets plus a dining table and living room sofa. Then we recommended to our Family members who spent $5,000 to $6,000 for their house furniture. So it was around $18,000 in total. It started well, but I did not know my nightmare was about to start.
In August 2021, I bought a queen-sized mattress. They said I could return it if I kept the plastic cover, and they gave me a store credit of $448. And said I could use it for my future purchases as it's already written on the receipt. (Attached on google review)
In Oct 2021, we saw a lift-up bed for $599 on their Facebook page and It caught my eye. On call it was available, but when I visited, they said it got sold and tried to sell me a different one for $999. If I wanted the same one I would have to wait for 6-8 months (another poor lie). (I was not even told then My credit was going to expire in 6 months)
Recently, in June 2023, I wanted to claim the warranty of the king-size mattress we bought in 2020 I found out I couldn't because I couldn't provide a receipt and they did not seem to help me apart from being bought 18k worth of furniture in 2020. Then I wanted to buy a new one and use the store credit for a new mattress. The owner, Baldeep Singh Gill, dragged this issue for two months to talk to me and made vague promises. Later, he said my store credit had expired in six months which was not even mentioned on the receipt I got. Apparently, it was not even told to me when I wanted to buy a lift-up bed from them In Oct 2021 and it's not even displayed in the store or on their website. (which was absolutely a big lie) .
