Would somebody please put this place out of its misery?…read more This downtrodden tired old girl needs to be put out to pasture. It is undergoing a renovation, but I have my doubts that you can make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. The best thing it had going for it was a Liquidation World, and even that's gone. There was a Fields for the higher end shopper that moved out. Left for the Aldergrove shopperatti is a tired old Extra food (staffed by the nicest people who are really trying to make up for how yucky their store is) and there is an old lady who sells t-shirts in the mall area. There is an excellent Chinese restaurant around back, but nobody knows it is there. Aldergrove might be booming, but you have to go to Langley or God forbid Abbotsford to shop. The rockstars that hang out around the mall waiting for the bus, or a handout make it so unpleasant to go there that I try to avoid it in all but urgent situations.

I agree this mall should be closed and torn down. It is an eyesore for the town of Aldergrove. We…read morehave the capacity to be a nice place to shop but this area is a real blight on the landscape. I have heard of development plans for the last 10 years and yet still nothing is done. The downtown core of stores along Fraser Highway are in need of a good painting or powerwashing, is this too much to ask from the various landlords to put a little money back into the place? I like Aldergrove but are finding it increasingly hard to want to live here down the road. Is there someone out there who can help this matter and cares enough to get the ball rolling? I am willing to do my part but would like to know how and where to start.

Thank you, Walmart -- truly…read more I just wanted to express my deep gratitude to Walmart and its wonderful staff. Over the past while, as I've been homeless and unemployed, Walmart has been more than just a store -- it's been a place of refuge and comfort, part of my daily routine, and a genuine sanctuary. I'm also really thankful for the variety of vegan options and organic foods they offer -- from fresh produce to meal ready rice packets, it's possible to live kindly and health-consciously here. That said, I'd love to see an even wider selection of organic produce moving forward in the future -- things like organic hot peppers, eggplants, tomatoes, and squash would be amazing additions. I've noticed some great features at Walmart too that can make a real difference in someone's day-to-day life -- the water bottle refill station, self-serve key-cutting service, and even the Klarna "Pay Later" option are thoughtful and practical touches that show Walmart is evolving with the times. And as a fun note for fellow vegans -- McDonald's has finally released a vegan burger, the McVeggie, which pairs nicely with a Walmart vegan grocery stop! All in all, 5 stars. I truly appreciate this place and the people who keep it running -- thank you for being a constant source of care, value, and community. Big Hugs xXx

I have now started to track how many times these guys have lied to me... we are up over 17 times…read more I bought a livingroom set and dining room suite from them on June 24th. We are now August 4th and I have a vein about to burst open in my forehead. So far: I received sofa and love seat promptly. Dining room set came with 5 out of 6 chairs being wobbly. A month later, the chair arrived.. it was the beat up showroom chair. the server for the dining set is "on a ship from asia" I told him I would give a $100 deposit, and he tried to take $800 off my debit card... and pretended he didn't understand I said $100. These guys are so slippery I had to actually laugh out loud one time when two people told me a different story, when the second one had actually hear the lie the first one told me, and then he proceeded to lie too!! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING AT THIS STORE unless you can walk out with it on the spot. I still don't have my wobbly chairs fixed, or a new living room chair, or the mysterious unicorn of a server... I am headed up there tomorrow to make a scene. I think I will spray paint a sheet with the message "DO NOT SHOP HERE" hang it over my car and park it in front of the store until they produce money or furniture. You think I won't? I will... I am just mad enough to do it... you watch...

Now the manager tells me the right colour is on order and he's waiting for some mystery container to arrive on some ship. Of course every week when I call he tells me he should know something the next week, but never calls and every weeks stalls for another week. I've now demanded some kind of paperwork or order form faxed to me proving this furniture is actually on order and that its coming soon but now he's not returning calls, even when I've informed him he'll be looking soon at a lawsuit. I'm pretty sure there's nothing on order, and he'll hope I'll give up and just except the wrong furniture. Nope! It's sad that the only language needed to deal with this shameful scam shack is threats of legal action and police intervention. Oh, and still haven't seen that promised $600 gas rebate card!! There's a surprise...

Hello, I want to share the terrible experience of my life with Aldergrove Furniture. In June 2020,…read moreI spent around $12,000 on two king-sized bedroom sets plus a dining table and living room sofa. Then we recommended to our Family members who spent $5,000 to $6,000 for their house furniture. So it was around $18,000 in total. It started well, but I did not know my nightmare was about to start. In August 2021, I bought a queen-sized mattress. They said I could return it if I kept the plastic cover, and they gave me a store credit of $448. And said I could use it for my future purchases as it's already written on the receipt. (Attached on google review) In Oct 2021, we saw a lift-up bed for $599 on their Facebook page and It caught my eye. On call it was available, but when I visited, they said it got sold and tried to sell me a different one for $999. If I wanted the same one I would have to wait for 6-8 months (another poor lie). (I was not even told then My credit was going to expire in 6 months) Recently, in June 2023, I wanted to claim the warranty of the king-size mattress we bought in 2020 I found out I couldn't because I couldn't provide a receipt and they did not seem to help me apart from being bought 18k worth of furniture in 2020. Then I wanted to buy a new one and use the store credit for a new mattress. The owner, Baldeep Singh Gill, dragged this issue for two months to talk to me and made vague promises. Later, he said my store credit had expired in six months which was not even mentioned on the receipt I got. Apparently, it was not even told to me when I wanted to buy a lift-up bed from them In Oct 2021 and it's not even displayed in the store or on their website. (which was absolutely a big lie) .
