Interestingly, I discovered that they have unique special items here. Like hazelnut KitKat or cookie and cream KitKat and other interesting snacks. It is definitely worth visiting here. Note that not everything is $1 here. It starts at $1 and it either ends in .50 or .00. Still pretty reasonable price. Definitely nice to visit once in awhile. I usually end up getting something here.

The things purchased from this chain generally don't fall apart in a week. The stuff here easily lasts months, if not years. In my books, this is what sets Dollarama apart from the rest of them, including direct competitor Dollar Tree. Very convenient location for a dollar store in this part of town. Parking is available in the nice large Scottsdale Centre parking lot. The location is a decent size, and selection seems to be slightly better than some other (smaller) ones I've visited in the past. Special mention goes to electronic section. Their $3 mobile phone cables work as good at their $20-30 counterparts. Yes, I tested them properly. Another special mention goes to their tool section. The stuff here is less than 1/3 that of the competition, but in many cases it's the exact same product, right down to the packaging. Recommended.

It has a food court, but not much of a selection, it needs an improvement on making the food court bigger. For unknown reason, my camera would not focus properly on Santa. Strange. Anyway, I like how it has 3 big stores: Save on Foods, Walmart, and Dollarama! There is a Holiday contest to win Lego, and I see there are A LOT OF ENTRIES since late November.
