It's one of my favourite stores, but I tend to hit the outlets more than regular mall retail stores. I like the deals and still think that it's ridiculous to pay over $70 for a pair of jeans! Today, I got a pair of blue flare jeans and a magenta hoodie. I had to try them on in the fitting room. The wait to get a free room was about seven minutes today, but the fitting rooms are clean and bright. The lineup to pay was equally as long. I figured out why it was so busy on Saturday when the cashier asked whether I had an e-mail coupon. I subscribe to Gap e-mails and had to look for it on my phone. I found it. I got 50% off my entire purchase, so I only paid $17 with tax. Wow! Needless to say, I was a happy camper. It's not every day that you can get a hoodie for $6 before taxes. (183)

Pretty well what you expect at a Costco. Because they're in the same plaza as a bunch of retail/…read moreoutlet locations, there's quite a bit more parking available if you're willing to park further. This location is crowded and I find a lot of times, things are out of stock. Or they simply don't have the same abundance of selections as other locations. There's times I can pick things up at the Scarborough/ Markham locations that I can't even find here (fruits, specials, clothing, etc). The staff here also aren't really quite as friendly. Few times we've had to interact with a cashier, they seemed a bit annoyed. They were giving us "teenage daughter" vibes.... you know when they roll their eyes and chew their gum and can't be bothered to make eye contact when telling you your total. We prefer self check out anyway so we just avoid interaction if we can. That's not to say ALL staff are like that. Just the ones we have unluckily had to deal with. The wait at the pharmacy is kinda long. Given the cost is better than at your regular pharmacy, I do think it's worth waiting if you're not covered by insurance.

There are many saving graces like the cheap food court eats and random scores of fantastic quality clothing I wasn't looking for. I am unsure if Costco is really worth it for a small family like mine without a freezer. This location is always busy, like all the other Costco locations, but does offer ample parking.

I hadn't stepped foot at any Value Village since I went on a purging spree during the pandemic. I drove across the plaza and parked fairly close to the main entrance. There was lots of parking. The clothing section greeted me when I entered the store. Everything was ordered on the racks by size and was nicely organized. There were a bunch of graphic t-shirts available. It was interesting seeing what folks had donated. A Smoke's Poutinerie t-shirt with the founder guy on the front? Yeah, I wouldn't want it either. Jonas Brothers concert t-shirt? There were two of them! I like music more than people? It's true to some extent. It was fun looking at them. Looking at old technology that may or may not work was a blast. I saw a blingy telephone. I also a Meridian phone model that I've used at a bunch of past jobs. A Sears Crockery Cooker looked cool. I love small appliances and seeing their versions of crockpots was so fun to see. I spent the longest time browsing used cassette tapes and CDs. I love music and I like spotting some gems. I ended up getting two CDs: - Alan Doyle - A Week at the Warehouse - $3.99 - Rod Stewart - The Definitive Rod Stewart (two CDs) - $8.99 It's was nice getting CDs that I don't have without breaking the bank. I liked the socks section. It has new socks for women's size 11 feet. Yay! This store has self-checkout kiosks. You need to have a credit or debit card to use it. I went ahead and gave it a try. What's interesting at Value Village is that you're scanning a small QR code next to the price on each item and not the product's barcode. I paid with a credit card. I tapped and I got a receipt. I also got a discount on my next purchase. I enjoyed stopping by this store. I'd do it again when I'm in Ajax. (386)

I normally don't look at the rating before I review, but I don't think it's that horrible, folks. I visited this Old Navy with my friend on a Saturday evening. There were plenty of sales happening. I loved looking at the retro roller skate t-shirt, and cute fruit-themed clothes and accessories. My dear friend loves Old Navy as much as I do. It's affordable clothing at decent prices. She was looking at jeans. She likes the low-rise ones, as they fit her better. We were immediately greeted by an Old Navy staff member. She was nice and asked if we needed any help. There are change rooms and washrooms at this store. They are located smack in the centre of this store. There were two cashiers open. The lineup had perhaps three people, but it wasn't horrible. It's a clean store. Just be careful with the front door. For some reason, it ended up closing on my friend and we still don't know what exactly happened! (176)

One of them asked for service after a few minutes, and only then was acknowledged and told to wait. Eventually the two people who came before me were served, and when I asked to be served, I was told that there are other people waiting and the wench behind the counter decided to point out all the people waiting. The ones who came after me. Extremely rude and no service. They didn't even have any idea what I wanted. Will never go back to that pharmacy and suggest that if you hate your job that much, then you should change your occupation. General courtesy was all that was required. Horrible, horrible, experience. Terrible way to deal with the public. Extremely ignorant.
