It's one of my favourite stores, but I tend to hit the outlets more than regular mall retail stores. I like the deals and still think that it's ridiculous to pay over $70 for a pair of jeans! Today, I got a pair of blue flare jeans and a magenta hoodie. I had to try them on in the fitting room. The wait to get a free room was about seven minutes today, but the fitting rooms are clean and bright. The lineup to pay was equally as long. I figured out why it was so busy on Saturday when the cashier asked whether I had an e-mail coupon. I subscribe to Gap e-mails and had to look for it on my phone. I found it. I got 50% off my entire purchase, so I only paid $17 with tax. Wow! Needless to say, I was a happy camper. It's not every day that you can get a hoodie for $6 before taxes. (183)

This location is crowded and I find a lot of times, things are out of stock. Or they simply don't have the same abundance of selections as other locations. There's times I can pick things up at the Scarborough/ Markham locations that I can't even find here (fruits, specials, clothing, etc). The staff here also aren't really quite as friendly. Few times we've had to interact with a cashier, they seemed a bit annoyed. They were giving us "teenage daughter" vibes.... you know when they roll their eyes and chew their gum and can't be bothered to make eye contact when telling you your total. We prefer self check out anyway so we just avoid interaction if we can. That's not to say ALL staff are like that. Just the ones we have unluckily had to deal with. The wait at the pharmacy is kinda long. Given the cost is better than at your regular pharmacy, I do think it's worth waiting if you're not covered by insurance.

There are many saving graces like the cheap food court eats and random scores of fantastic quality clothing I wasn't looking for. For example , I saw Lindor packs for $4. There's are normally at least $5-$6. Saw fancy almond milk for like $2. I say it's not our cup of tea simply because we tend to stock up / get too excited and buy a lot so expired/ close to expiring snacks is a no go . I was lucky to find these two steals and the expiration on each were at least close to half a year ! Camino bar was as only $1 :O and hairbo was only $1.55. Immediately entering I already felt that the supermarket was very clean. They had a large variety of produce products, all at a very fair price. They cater to not only to the Asian demographic but also other ethnicities as well which is a bonus if you're trying to find a one stop shop! Love that they also have a cooked food counter that is self serve. Didn't get to try it but all the food dishes looked tasty and there were a lot of people scooping their own food for purchase. Overall, worth the hype, especially if you live around the Ajax area!

There was a huge amount of outdoor wood chairs, perhaps as many as 15. I saw a staff member putting several if the chairs in a walk in dumpster. I asked the staff member assisting me if they were being thrown away. The furniture manager of the store told me too many had been donated and were indeed being thrown away. Im 69, a senior, a widow, on pension, experiencing difficulties with today's economic crisis and managing on our Canadian pension. I asked the manager since he was throwing them away, could I have 2 of these chairs as I could really use them. Remember they are headed for the land fill. I was promptly told NO. I would have to wait until the chairs being kept, we're priced and placed on the sales floor. I have shopped at Value Village a lot. I have recently moved and done a lot of purging of my personal items, several loads full in my SUV. I THINK its time the community find elsewhere to donate items. The prices are getting too expensive. We are being charged sales tax on items donated which was already tax when sold originally. Since we provide the inventory to Value Village and receiving a crap 20 percent discount, the discount for giving inventory should be 40 percent. I wish everyone would get together and set a time period for an organized BOYCOTT to register this is wrong and needs to be corrected. For those who don't know. Clothing that isn't sold is being bundled, sold and shipped to other countries. I have seen glasses and dishes thrown into garbage containers, to be broken since they didn't sell. Value Village need to rethink their policies and procedures.

I normally don't look at the rating before I review, but I don't think it's that horrible, folks. I visited this Old Navy with my friend on a Saturday evening. There were plenty of sales happening. I loved looking at the retro roller skate t-shirt, and cute fruit-themed clothes and accessories. My dear friend loves Old Navy as much as I do. It's affordable clothing at decent prices. She was looking at jeans. She likes the low-rise ones, as they fit her better. We were immediately greeted by an Old Navy staff member. She was nice and asked if we needed any help. There are change rooms and washrooms at this store. They are located smack in the centre of this store. There were two cashiers open. The lineup had perhaps three people, but it wasn't horrible. It's a clean store. Just be careful with the front door. For some reason, it ended up closing on my friend and we still don't know what exactly happened! (176)
