There are three highlights to a good thrift shopping experience in my book. 1)The hunt for something great, vintage, original or simply needed, at a great price. 2)Cleanliness, organization and community centered. 3) A universal thing not limited to a thrift experience- Kind employees who take pride in what they do- no matter what the job is. This store is lacking on all three fronts. Instead I see piles of disorganized mess, dirty clothing, dirty restrooms and a dirty store overall. I see employees standing around chatting and gossiping about things customers don't need to overhear. I see all this work that needs to be done in the store and yet... Self check out. Employees on phones outside while people are trying to donate. Instead of showing some integrity in one's work, they let the donation section turn into a dump your junk type situation instead. This ripples from outside the store to the inside. I kept sneezing inside from all the dust getting kicked up from sifting through all the pieces. Give me the job for a day or more. I still would stand on what I am saying. I see too much poor work ethic in today's society and at this stage of my life, it quite simply saddens me.

And I don't know if she's a manager, but the older Hispanic lady with dark hair, always in a bun, is by far the rudest & very unprofessional!!! She refused to wait on us, we walked up to the line & she told us to go to the other line, but other people came to her line & she waited on them. This is the 2nd to third encounter we had with her & it's always been a very unpleasant & disrespectful experience--it's heard in her angry aggressive tone & mannerism the way she talk to customers. DollarTree Corporate Office for this location needs to go undercover to this store & check on it for themselves. I'm definitely not shopping here anymore at this location even though it's the closest, I rather spend my money (which i spend at least $50 twice a week), at the one on Ynez or even Ramona -they treat their customers with respect!!
