I've been coming here for the past 5 years, but a lot of the good employees are gone & they hired an influx of new ones this past year that mostly stand around stocking the shelves all day talking to each other. It doesn't take the other DT locations very long to stock & I don't understand why it takes them long perhaps less chitchatting & also pay attention to cash register, with a line of people waiting on you to come ring them up. And I don't know if she's a manager, but the older Hispanic lady with dark hair, always in a bun, is by far the rudest & very unprofessional!!! She refused to wait on us, we walked up to the line & she told us to go to the other line, but other people came to her line & she waited on them. This is the 2nd to third encounter we had with her & it's always been a very unpleasant & disrespectful experience--it's heard in her angry aggressive tone & mannerism the way she talk to customers. DollarTree Corporate Office for this location needs to go undercover to this store & check on it for themselves. I'm definitely not shopping here anymore at this location even though it's the closest, I rather spend my money (which i spend at least $50 twice a week), at the one on Ynez or even Ramona -they treat their customers with respect!! I would never review the dollar tree but today this dollar tree made a difference and I appreciate them so much. I didn't catch the associate that was working today September 30 2024. It was around 2pm. This woman needs a raise!!! 1000% one of the best customer service experiences i have ever had at a dollar tree. Come on ya'll you know how it is right before Halloween /Christmas. The place is a mad house. And today was no different. But I took a chance and asked one of the ladies putting up stuff in the store where something was. And the associate, without hesitation, and without being rude. And with the biggest smile shows me where the stuff is and says she would even go look "in the back" for me. I almost fell over. It was fantastic and super helpful. I wanted to hug her right there! Anyways. Give this dollar tree another chance they are trying guys. I would recommend this place as a last resort there definitely are other Dollar trees in the area that have much better customer service. The night manager was yelling at me down the aisle before 8 PM telling me that if I don't hurry up the computers will shut off and I won't be able to make my purchase and then followed me again to tell me I need to hurry up, finally yelled back and let her know that I would be right there. I had a lot of things in my hand and it was not easy for me to juggle When I left it was 802. Everyone understands that people need to go home, but there's no need to panic and yell. Unfortunately, I did not get her name but she was the blonde lady with black glasses on. I will say the cashier that I had was very pleasant and nice. Just eeks out the Cal Oaks location as the largest Dollar Tree in the Murr/Tmec area. Inventory is basically the same as the aforementioned Cal Oaks as well as the Hot Springs location. However, parking here can be a bit bothersome. The store is located in the Food-4-Less shopping center. There is also a TJ Maxx, AAA, Kmart, Pier 1 and several hole in the wall restaurants. During peak hours, you'll have to navigate around shoppers/diners walking through the parking lot and/or parking further than you'd normally want to. But not to worry, that extra 2 calories you burn for parking 5 spaces farther than you had originally had hoped translates into bags of savings at Dollar Tree. For me, Dollar Tree and stores like it are meccas for the "one and done" item. $1 for salad tongs? Summary: I love coming to Dollar Tree when in need of durable yet inexpensive items. You can pretty much find anything from party supplies to kitchen utensils. This Location: This place seem a bit understaff and in my opinion if there is more than 3 customer waiting for just one cashier, they need to open a second line. Everything I need was in the right aisle yet I wish the place could be a bit more tidy. Staff: Nice and courteous, especially Jon and Ana. I absolutely love this dollar tree compared to the one on Temecula parkway. They have a clean store. Lines are never long. They always have help. The store manager Kimberly was so nice! She was funny and helped me around the store with ease and patience. Every time I come in she's so engaging. She helped me to my car when she could've let me go back and forth. I don't typically write reviews but I had too for this one. Store is fine. The staff are rude, particularly Fetu. You work in customer service. That's part of your job. Don't be rude to people who are simply stating that a sign says 2 for $1. The older lady was just confused. And yes the sign was correct, but things get misplaced. Instead of rolling your eyes, having a very rude tone trying to say the vendors put things the way they do...take the time to be KIND and simply say you'll check. She is extremely professional, and kind and goes out of her way to make people feel special and important. The store is always well stocked, and there are plenty of great buys that arrive from time to time. This is a go-to location for many people before they attend the movie theater nearby, in order to stock up on cheap brand name candy for a mere fraction of the price. The staff is always polite, and attentive, especially Marina. She is always a delight to see. There is always a sweet woman with a deep southern accent, that makes an effort to be inviting to all the customers. She knows how to small talk, while still working quickly to get you checked out on time for your movie. There can be a bit of a line sometimes, especially near the latest showtime on the weekends. This would be the only reason that they do not get the full five stars. Other than that, this is a great location to pick up those day to day items, and often things that you did not even realize you needed until you are perusing the shelves. They also have a frozen foods section, and the Jennifer's Gardens Spring Rolls are amazing in the toaster oven. read more

I want to say Thank you to Fetu, the manager, for being so patient with me during my item exchange. I always bring a receipt to exchange, but this time it was not in my bag when I got in the store. I was disappointed to find out that when you do not have the receipt for your items you can only exchange 3 items. So when they had rang up my 11 items and only gave me the $4 (made an exception), I reluctantly paid the $6 difference. When I went to my car I found the original receipt and returned back inside to get te $6 difference back I had paid. This was very confusing. I did not want to cause a scene but I felt explanation of the $6 exchange was correct, but Fetu was not in agreement. She was very calm and patiently explained her reasoning, although they were not the same as mine. Needless to say we were not in agreement, but Fetu was gracious enough to return the items and give me a $6 cash refund. I am so sorry it took so much time to resolve. I do appreciate Fetu's help and patient. I've always preferred this Dollar Tree store more than the others in the neighborhood. It is always clean and seems to have more variety of items. All the cashiers are always smiling and quick at ringing up the customers. I will still choose this store again. read more

I have been to other Dollar trees in the area and this one seems to have more in stock and well organized. They have some good deals here if you don't want to pay walmart/Target prices. I bought a selfie stick, car charger, candles and lots of kids school supplies here. They also have greeting cards, 2 for a $1. You can't beat the prices. The only con is long lines, usually one or two girls running the register. read more
