There was another item on the original purchase I wanted to exchange also this what happened. So I was not even on her register she came over mad sloppy and unprofessional then left with my receipt after she shut me up when I was going to just let her know the details and the amount that was purchased she shut me up saying like I said I'm going to see waiting 15 mins wondering where the hell was this horrible manager she comes Bach saying we'll I was checking the cameras and investigating everything which cleared my point she was bias and assumed I was stealing I was dressed in my work uniform I feel she literally even was checking the camera on today also to see if I stuffed the pants in my bad from work and just made it seem like I was retuning stolen items. Come on now that was so rude and disrespectful not to mention disgusting I know it's a low budget store but dam I get treated like a thief even after she got her facts she didint even apologize for the messed up things she did I want corporate to reach out to me if you see this message please reply to this review with a way to reach out to you directly I feel violated honesty!

The Dollar Tree is descended from the Ben Franklin discount stores that first began operating 1953…read more After creating Ben Franklin's, the founders opened K&K 5&10 and K&K Toy Stores. In the mid 80's another discount chain was started called only $1.00. In the 90's it was decided that the company would only focus on the development of dollar stores and in 1993 the name was changed to Dollar Tree. The company now operates close to 15,000 stores in 48 states. The company also operates the Family Dollar chain. In the past I have shopped Dollar Tree for inexpensive birthday decor, bags, candy, wrapping paper, tissue paper, greeting cards, and sensory items for my students. This time I was on the hunt for plastic gold coins for St. Patrick's Day. I found a craft online where you stick the coins in a paste of water, green dye, and baking soda and form it into leprechaun rocks that when dry can be hidden and when found dissolved in leprechaun juice otherwise known as white vinegar. The hidden surprise floats to the surface to reveal the lucky coin. I think the kids are going to love them. Unfortunately the Dollar Tree nearest to me was sold out of everything for St. Patrick's Day. I was in the area and spotted this store and from the outside I didn't have high hopes but jackpot! They had exactly what I needed plus more. The store was very neat and was actually quite large. They had a lot of items my local store doesn't carry. I ended up purchasing some more things to fill out some birthday gifts I will be giving shortly. A few aisles were closed off with yellow tape but you could still shop them. Best of all no line and I was out in a flash. Dollar Tree may charge an extra 25 cents now but for most things they are still a bargain.

I went to this store yesterday, and the experience bothered me so much that I had to write a review…read moretoday. I'm not even the type of person who writes reviews, but the behavior I witnessed was so disrespectful and disgusting that I couldn't stay quiet. I returned a box of stroopwafels (Cookies) that were stale. Only one cookie had been eaten because that's how I realized they were bad. The first cashier was professional and processed the return with zero issues. Then another employee inserted herself and immediately accused us of "eating too much" before even checking the box. She was loud, rude, and confrontational for no reason. When my partner pointed out that every box only comes with a few cookies to begin with, she left to check, -came back and confirmed we were right, but still kept arguing. She refused to call a manager when asked, insulted my partner by calling him "stupid," and even made inappropriate personal comments about our relationship. All of this over a single stale cookie... and after the return had already been processed. The whole interaction felt hostile, unprofessional, and full of unnecessary attitude. I left feeling disrespected and targeted, and it genuinely ruined what should've been a simple errand during my birthday weekend. I hope management actually addresses this, because no customer deserves to be treated this way. If nobody addresses this I think I will have to make a more formal complaint on BBB or something.

Located along Pembroke Rd. in Miramar; S & A Caribbean Market is a small business, part market/restaurant, that carries various Caribbean items such as snacks, vitamins, beverages, grocery and baking items, seasonings, canned goods; and many more at very reasonable prices from Jamaica, Guyana, Trinidad & Tobago, etc. There's also a section where you can get meat by the pound. There was only one person running the market and he was very pleasant. When I told him about the items I was looking for, which was split pea flour, and tumeric powder, he was kind enough to show me where the items was located. We even had a small conversation. As he was giving me tips to make the pholourie, he thought I was from Trinidad because of the way I spoke. I get that from people sometimes, but when I speak to Caribbean people, the island accent does come out. I didn't get the chance to venture through the restaurant because I had less than an hour before the business closed, but my Trini friend told me they make good roti so I got to come back to try some. I will also return to purchase other island items.
