The cashier was very rude and provided terrible customer service. It was a horrible experience, and I won't be coming back.

Dollar Tree continues to be one of my favorite spots due to the fun seasonal items, affordability and depending on the product the quality. They have a good selection of cards, gift bags, candy and arts/crafts. They have products that would be good to customize a basket/gift for someone you care about. They have an extensive selection of giftcards which I'm grateful for. Some of my go-tos are their fun seasonal drink ware, glass jars, cards and wooden items in their arts/crafts section. The customer service has improved as well. I look forward to my next visit. read more

Customers, be careful of expiration dates here at this particular Dollar Tree store. My daughter went in to purchase the 2 liter sodas Stars and Stripes generic brand they have always sold. She checked the dates on the bottles and they were expired! And not just recently expired, but back in June and it is now the end of September!! She sent me a pic of the dates! Anyone knows, who drinks these drinks, that sodas don't fare well on taste much after the expired date. My daughter asked the employee for a discount...at least half off, but they said "No." Oh my goodness! This store is manipulating its customers in selling outdated drink items! And possibly even food items too! And they're not even attempting to lower the price for the items!! That means after my daughter set the drinks back onto the shelf, this store was attempting to sell this outdated drink to yet another customer!! This is terrible! Poor tricky store tactic to rip off customers! Therefore, I urge you all as you come in to shop here....please check the dates before buying!!!! read more

Saturday before Easter Sunday- only one person on register... two boys wandering around not helping anyone... a line wrapped through the back of store and contains at least 35 parole to check out.. told to just get in line to get help when get up to register.... Poor management and no one called from other stores to help??! Poor poor management... disappointing.... read more

It's gotten a little better now that they've expanded and remodeled the store. Seems there are more check out lanes and perhaps one extra cashier, but the lines can still be trying at times. That being said, Dollar Tree is still my favorite place to buy greeting cards. At 50 cents each, you really can't beat that price. read more

This store is typical of the cleaner and better run Dollar Tree stores. But, we don't appreciate the Dollar Tree enough as a society. For certain things, it's the coolest store ever. Even if service is bad or people aren't happy there. Dang, everything in the store is a BUCK. It's bargain basement retail, not Neimans. The prices are so low here, it's like a community service. Where else can you get batteries for a buck? A sharpie for a buck? A pregnancy test for a buck? Energy drinks, cleaning supplies, snacks, seasonal crap, everything's a buck. Gift bags, one of the greatest holiday swindles in history, all of them in the store - a buck. Greatest movie candy store EVER? Dollar Tree cuz it's all one frickin dollar. I bought black ceramic plates for my granite-topped, stainless-applianced, modern kitchen there: ten plates = $10. That woulda cost me $50-$100 or more at Kohls or Target. So I'm giving my local Dollar Tree some love. Here's five stars for being there for me! read more

I go to this Dollar Tree quite consistently to buy things I know are a good deal. Most of the employee's are rather helpful, however, if they are on break, they need to finish it. I've read some reviews about how people were "shocked" that Dollar Tree employee's couldn't go off their break to help them find something. Breaks are mandatory and if an employee doesn't get one, they are entitled to compensation (which I'm sure management would not like). Overall I have had pretty good experiences. Every once and a while you will get a customer who is demanding something outrageous or just plain dumb, but you can't really blame the corporation for that. read more

Worst store to ever go during this Pandemic that is going on. Some customers entering without a mask and no one would tell them anything. For the safety of everyone's health there are regulations and laws that people need to follow and this store was for sure not doing that. read more

The customer service was terrible. The staff was completely rude and nobody had a smile on their face. They argued between each other in front of customers. When I stated to my mom this is why we have yelp and the lady scoffed. 2 stars for clean store. read more

Not a bad Dollar tree. I've seen better and definitely a lot worse. They are almost always stocked but usually have boxes around in the isles. Always a great place to waste some time buying things you don't really need. read more

I've been to many Dollar Trees and this one by far is the best looking, cleanest, stocked one. It also has the refrigerated section which a few others don't. It also has the most Christmas stuff compared to the other Dollar Trees. The Dollar Tree on Mid-cities/Rufe Snow and the one on North Tarrant/Davis are ok too. However, all the other Dollar Trees that I have been to are pretty ghetto compared to the one on Denton HWY. Just don't buy electronics from here. Cables and adapters are ok. Other electronics are a hit or miss. Actually, don't buy electronics from any dollar stores. The food is ok. I don't understand the snobby nature of people when it comes to food from Dollar Tree. Some people act like any food that comes from a dollar store is either expired or made from arsenic. I like to try new things whether they're cheap, expensive, common or exotic. Heck, I would try fried bugs if I could. So, I've ventured out and tried several items at Dollar Tree and so far I like what I've tried. Some of the food items are the same items you can buy at grocery stores. Some Dollar Tree specific foods are pretty good too. I hope this Dollar Tree stays $1 forever. The 99 Cents Only nearby on Rufe Snow slowly have been increasing prices. I've seen prices of $1.29, $1.49, $3.99 and so on. Defeats the purpose of the word "ONLY". read more

can't believe what I witnessed today. There was an elderly woman attempting to ask a question to two associates that were standing in the back room with the door propped open. They yelled at her telling her to stop bothering them and slammed the door in her face. She then proceded to ask for a manager to a different associate and she was extremely rude and told her I don't know when he'll be back and walked away. Then I went up to the register to check out and a woman was in line in front of me purchasing balloons. When it was her turn she let the clerk know that she'll be buying balloons and walked over to the balloon area to show him which ones she would like. He ignored her and starting ringing my items up. I told him she was in front of me and to help her first. He turned around looked at her and said "If you wanted balloons you should have stayed in line, you just lost your spot!" He then turned back around and continuted to ring my items up. I refused for him to help me until she was taken care of because she was in line first. He then threw a fit and told another associate to help her. I can't even believe this kind of behavior happened. I will NEVER shop here again and I WILL be contacting the corporate office. I hope those two customers do the same. read more

While the store is cleaner than most Dollar Trees, it is hotter than heck in there because their air conditioning is broken in almost half the entire store. The employees on the front end consistently look like they're about to faint, and clearly no customer enjoys spending any longer than 15 minutes there because of the heat. I was told by one cashier that "the A/C has been broken for at least 6 months now." Also, the lines are often extremely long. I have had to abandon my purchase because I had places to be and had been waiting in line for at least 10 minutes. Usually during those times there was only one cashier checking every customer out, calling for assistance every so often with no response. Very bad for business, if you ask me. I try not to shop at this location if I don't have to. read more
