Primarily because they really aren't around in my immediate area that much I suppose. I also thought that going to Walmart, Target and the others would be sufficient in this realm since they look like they fit in there, which is still true.... except when it isn't because Big Lots sells some unique stuff I've found. From foodstuffs to lawn furniture... it's in here. I found Faygo sodas, for example, a couple weeks ago. Two weeks prior to that I found Fanta pina colada. I've since seen it in a couple other stores but it was still a unique find at the time. Good prices to boot. Big Lots is alright by me.

If you're in the Waldorf, LaPlata, Brandywine, or Clinton area, Sprouts is absolutely worth the…read moretrip, IMO. I consider it my "upscale neighborhood grocery store," and it has become part of my weekly routine. One of my favorite things is their meal prep section. For around $30, I can grab enough food to last me about four dinners/lunches during the week, which is a great value considering the quality. The veggies are always FRESH... fresh out the ground, fresh. Farm to table, fresh! I also buy my sushi on the go here, and it's always delicious. I will say, some of the prices are a little higher than your average grocery store, but the quality of the food and the customer service make it worth every Abe Lincoln. I also love the huge selection of vegan, vegetarian, and clean-eating options even being the pescatarian that I am. But if you're trying to eat healthier (someone in my house always is on a diet lol), have dietary restrictions, or just want to try something new, there's always something interesting to discover. I leave with a new product almost every visit. The store is consistently clean, well-stocked, and the employees are always friendly and welcoming. One thing people don't usually mention in grocery store reviews is the bathroom, but I think it says a lot about a business. The restroom is always clean and if you've ever had to use a nasty grocery store bathroom, you know it can leave you wondering how they care for everything else... including the food. Trust me, you do not want to experience that. Lol, thankfully I've never had that concern at Sprouts. Their rewards program is another bonus. Super simple and convenient like every other grocery store, but worth it since this store is a bit more pricey. Lastly, I have to give a shoutout to the management team. Anytime I've had a pricing issue or any other concern, they've handled it quickly, professionally, and with a smile. Great customer service can be hard to find these days, especially when there aren't a ton of grocery store options in the area, but the team here consistently goes above and beyond. Sprouts has earned my business week after week, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for fresh, quality food and excellent customer service.

And yes I'm cheap and yes I'd rather the money go to the present, so yeah I put them down in hopes of finding better cards and a great value. At any rate, I walked through some of the aisles and I was really hungry and gravitated toward the chip aisle. I really wanted some kettle barbecue chips and/or Pringles but I felt I wanted to be a little healthy so I opted to get pork rinds because of the low carb aspect. But then I found some chocolate with some almonds and had to have wandered down the halls and got a strainer as well. The store is comparable to the other dollar generals I have visited in the area. I felt service was a little slow but overall not a bad place to find some good ole cheap snacks:)

If you are familiar with the Southern Maryland (Waldorf) area, you will find this store where Toys r Us use to be. Years ago the DMV had a few Eurocentric furniture stores such as SCAN and StoreHouse. Unfortunately, these stores closed their doors for good in the early 2000s. Luckily, we now have a rebirth of this awesome euro style furniture in our backyard. There was so much to consider, I need another visit to truly separate my wants and needs. Upon entry, I was greeted by a nice sales person (Nadia). She gave me information then allowed me to shop in peace. Please ask for Nadia during your visit. I've attached several photos to give you a visual of how unique their furniture options are when compared to other stores. I later reached back out to Nadia to discuss an art piece that I wanted to purchase. She set everything up and even informed me of an imminent holiday sale (nice)! Thanks Nadia!
