After looking around, I think they've done it. For essentials and things you didn't know you needed until you see it here, this place has got it covered. The name of this store sums it up -- a lot of dollar items and dollar or more-plus things, but none were over-priced compared to comparable places. The last thing asked as I left the store was if I was looking for anything in particular, because he'd order it. Everyone who came in was offered a basket for shopping and if they needed it, assistance in finding something. If it wasn't here, he said he'd order it and for that person to come back next week. Who has customer service like that anymore? and in a 99c+ store? Three stars, but I have to throw in another one for the customer service.

The beauty area is pretty sloppy - a few items broken and leaking on other products. Some of the clothing racks are pretty messy as well. One thing that always drives me nuts about TJ Maxx is how they assume everyone is there to steal... the purses are all chained together and you have to get an employee to undo them to even look at one. Also, the same treatment at the fitting rooms...very rigid about number of items, etc. I guess they have a huge theft problem? Anyway, it's an okay store. I don't go out of my way to visit here, just stop in if I'm over in that shopping area and have a few minutes. Definitely not worth making an extra trip.

Raleigh Food Trap promoted them and while off today on a Friday I headed over at 7:30 a.m. The line was wrapped around the street with many people wrapped in blankets and sitting in foldable chairs. I stood and sat in my foldable camping chair from 8:15 am- 12:00pm. We finally were let in by the kind staff and they restocked all the bins. I scored a Power XL Air Fryer, a Italian turbo blow dryer and a Stainless Steel Copper Cuisinart Coffee Maker/ Kuerig Machine. HomeBarista Reusable Filter Cup which lets you use your own coffee !!!!! Retail value is over $300 for all 3 items I purchased at $10 each for $30 collectively. Please note: these items are not brand new or in perfect condition by any means. My air fryer is missing one of the baking pans that is included. There are notes detailing the defect. That's why they're $10 or less. On a good day I was in and out within less than 10 minutes with my items. Bring a wagon/ cart to carry your items and bring lots of patience. Don't come any other day except Friday and time management is key ! Be sure not to plan anything else after your trip to the store because there will always be unpredictable wait times in line.

They have a LARGE selection of gluten free products as well. You have probably guessed by now that we REALLY like this place. We live in Spring Lake and still patronize. Funny, when I lived In Wake Forest, I never stopped in. We are members of the coop and enjoy special perks that come with it. I encourage others to join so that the store can open. It is truly a blessing to have this business around.

I really hope they do well and I look forward to seeing how they expand in the future.

The creole pasta was good but definitely could have used more of that creole spice and flavor. The grilled chops we had to send back because they were over cooked and just tasted way too charred. But once they brought out the new chops they were good and the mashed potatoes and veggies were delicious that came with it. We then got dessert and ordered the beignets and the deep dish apple pie.
