I guess these stores should be renamed Dollar and a Quarter Tree. This particular store is better organized, better stocked and less messy than other ones nearby. You can basically find what you are looking for with the various aisle signs. Better management? Obviously everything is basic and cheaply made stuff. But it's nice to quickly stop by and grab a pack of envelopes, kitchen sink stopper, detergent, Christmas items, OTC, cosmetics or whatever you need without having to buy a larger quantity such as at Target or Costco. read more

A big Dollar tree location and in a nicer shopping center where Target is at. Plenty of parking spaces. I ended up coming to this location to get batteries. For $1.25 for AA or AAA it is a good deal. I have no complaints about this location. I just wish people were not shoplifting from Dollar Tree or destroying the store. Service 4/5 I ran in here just to browse since I was out the house and had already made a stop in this fairly large strip mall. I was greeted upon entry. I found my favorite corn nuts, tropical DOTS and two different flavor boxes of Mike & Ikes. They had some name brand offerings in the frozen section like Talenti over cream and Sorbet for $5. It's no longer the dollar tree as things now start at $1.25 and the highest item I've seen is $5. So, misleading name. When I was ready to checkout no one was at the register with the light on so I n went to the one where I saw the one employee at a register. She directed me back to the register with the light on for an employee who was stocking shelves to ring me up. That was my experience. read more

2/6/20 Came here to grab a couple cleaning supplies. Upon check out, not only do I get the most mean mug I've ever got and for no reason, he doesn't tell me my total, or offer a bag. The small minded boy working behind the register clearly got mad I came to check out when he was trying to flirt with another customer. GTFO of here with the bullshit. You're here to work, so do your damn job, you ignorant POS. Very rude, of course no name tag to give the props to the kid. But he looks like a wanna be T.I - the rapper. Cashier overcharged me for 2 extra items I did not buy, I noticed and asked for refund. They returned me cash although I preferred to be it returned to card, and they had to charge me again for what I bought and returned previous wrong amount in a hole, which is pretty inconvenient to me personally. Plus, they did not even apologize to me and treated me not nicely as if I owe him something and it's my fault. Mistakes happen, but treat your customers nicely. read more

Second time at this particular store where the older male cashier requested that I open the bag so he could put the items in the bag. No other location have the cashiers making this request. Your policy should be consistent throughout all of your stores. Is he just too lazy to open a Dollar Tree bag brought in by the customer? My wife and I went to our local Dollar Tree yesterday and each and every customer was wearing a mask and trying to maintain social distancing in aisles that are too small to walk another person with being next to them. The PROBLEM for all of us is that a manager of regional supervisor, and the employee he was talking to as she followed h around the store were no wearing masks. When I got my phone out he ran by quickly turned around and got his mask on. I was able to catch the store employee without proper safety protocols. The picture of him in the aisle is as we were leaving the store he looked at me and even though he had a mask, it was pulled down past his nose. This pandemic will last as long as we have people like this in management. read more

With all the closed stores we have come to depend on stores like Dollar tree and others that have remained open to get basic essentials the posted hours indicate that it doesn't close until 8 p.m. but when we got there at 5 on a Friday no one was there to open the door in fact the doors are locked. We waited for about 10 minutes and during that time at least a dozen customers came and went because the doors were locked no employees at the front saying they were closed temporarily no sign saying that they were closed just a locked door. read more

Dollar Tree has arrived at the Target shopping center in Vallejo. I love DT all because the food is not taxed and you get the everyday essentials for well ... you guessed it. I believe its only been opened for a few weeks, so the store was impressively clean. Although the only thing is when its busy, the DT need to step it up and open up the cash registers) quicker. I didn't mind too much, but I only had two items ($2.08!!!). I plan to go back soon because Christmas is coming up and I need to get my wrapping paper in order. I have the shopping here for so many years! And I have never been disappointed :-) every time I come in I am greeted by everyone. I'm there so much the lady Lorraine knows me by name and assists me when I need it. I can honestly say this is one of the best stores I've been to in Solano County. They treat me like family here. The prices are great and the store is always clean. Being a disabled person and to be treated like I am the same as everybody else is a blessing whenever I come across it. Most people still what treat you with kid gloves. However they treat me like I am like everyone else. They got their way to help me even if the lady seems extremely busy. Yesterday i went to this dollar tree on admiral Callaghan lane in vallejo along with my 2 teen age daughter. One of my daughters decided she was going to pick her sister up like a baby. Long story short i hear this ratchet ass cheap $9.00 an hour employee screaming from the front by the office saying oh hell naw not in my store ya need to stop oh hell naw. I turned around and i see her ghetto ass talking to my teen girls that way. So i tell her if she has a problem with my kids to approach me about and to stop talking to my kids In that manner. Well she starts yelling in her ghetto tone hell no this is my store and they will not do that, i am 8 months pregnant so i tried hard to keep my cool i start walking to the register and tell her again to stop approaching my kids in that manner and to talk to me well she continues to be rude to me as well. The older black man tells her why did you say anything and all 3 of them start laughing as the black old man says i see why. The woman name is jaquila or something like that I want someone to contact me feom corporate Asap. This woman was way out of line if i do not get a call i will presue this in a different matter my Blood pressure dropped due to this woman upsetting me so much and me being pregnant. This Dollar Tree is filthy and although a couple of the employees were pleasant, none of them wore masks. The store was dirty and I went first thing in the morning when it opened at 8 a.m. The employees were cursing also as if they were not at work. I do not recommend this Dollar Tree and will not return. If I could give zero stars, that is the option that I would choose. One of the best dollars stores I've been to. It is very small yet the little store has EVERYTHING. It has a refrigerated/freezer section!! Lots of kitchen supplies, lots of crafts, books, drinks, tools, anything you could want. This specific location has items I haven't seen at other stores. My #1 favorite dollar store is in Concord, CA but this is a close 2nd just because of the physical size and crammed feel. read more

I was there today around 5 an older black man who was working at the cash register was holding up the line talking to one was of his friends. He was done paying and was still talking to him the line got longer so I just up my stuff in front of him and he got mad... he was being so rude and kept saying stuff in Spanish Sir I speak English as well !!! Well... You can't expect too much from a Dollar Tree store. But this location never has enough staff. We came here on a Sunday afternoon. There was ONE cashier helping a long line of about 10 customers. That was it. I didn't see another employee on sight. All we needed were TWO balloons. I asked the one & only cashier for assistance at the balloon station. She picked up the phone & called for "customer service" for balloons. As we waited, we heard an employee speaking behind the locked doors right next to the balloon station to the left. It sounded like she was on personal call & she was talking very loudly- I could literally hear her entire conversation and her language was absolutely INAPPROPRIATE. Really? I have my children with me. We left immediately & headed to the dollar store on Sonoma. I am not returning to this Dollar Tree. read more

Horrible, and I mean horrible return possibly policy - because there is none! And they do not even mention that unless you pay attention to the little teeny tiny sign under their card machine. What's even more stupid, I did not even leave the store! I mis-read the sign that had the same thing two for one, and they told me they cannot put the difference back on my card (even though this is 2018) because they don't have the "capability of doing so" - what time-period of the living in? Everybody else can! I called my bank and disputed the charge and my bank told me that they can do it but either management will not allow them to or they were never properly trained on how to push 3 freakin buttons! My bank suggested I call their corporate office and see if they are aware of these policies but in the meantime after spending a ton of money there, I will give my "dollars" to another dollar store. read more

This location is often times the cleanest and well stocked in Vallejo. That being said; tonight left me livid. We made a quick visit for essentials; my husband and 3 kids and I. The store was mostly empty and my kids were the only kids in the store. Now, my kids moved onto the toy isle with my husband while I grabbed an item from an isle next to the toy isle. My kids have a great relationship with their daddy and they were making jokes and laughing; which caught the attetntion of a scrooge of an employee. My kids were supervised and engaged in play with their dad when they tossed a ball literally 3 inches back into the ball compartment which caused the already stalking employee to reprimand my kids right in front of me. Then he stomped off proclaiming loudly to fellow employees "these kids, man!" I'm contacting everyone because let me tell you: i make it a certainty that my kids behave in public. That employee took his every day frustrations out on my kids and i wont stand for it. Nor will i be returning to this location. read more
