For some reason we were convinced that this place would be the size of a Goodwill, but when we entered, it was about the size of a 7-11. I know it sounds weird, but there was a sadness in this place. The people working had no joy and they appeared disappointed when we didn't buy anything. The prices here were exactly what you would expect to pay. My only and only issue with this place was selection. Had it been larger, I'm sure we would have found some treasure. I really like supporting places like this and they get extra points for having a house dog. Unfortunately, they just didn't have anything unique or collection to me.

My husband had the Ruben, he wanted a 9" but also wanted Rye Bread so they said they would make the inside 9" on the 6" Rye, that was nice of them to offer. There was a lot of meat and plenty of dressing, hubby said very tasty,too - however, the meat was cold on the inside and it was a Dark Rye instead of Marble Rye, and the bread slices were very small and thin; suggest getting a larger slice Marble Rye and make it as a 9" sandwich. Drinks and chips are offered at a seperate price. Parking is very limited, and The building needs some work. The eating area is small but okay, the tables were mainly a waiting area for take out, but for those of us who did eat in, the tables were not wiped down once while we were there, and the floor needed a desperate sweep. The wait was a bit long but they were very busy (a very good sign) take out orders are many, and for the most part only 1 person dedicated to making sandwiches. Suggestions: You're busy! Hire more people to make sandwiches and Dedicate someone to the register and taking care of the lobby area, clearing tables, sweeping etc. Honestly, the concept is ideal, and the food is great and can only get better with time. I have stopped shopping at this store because the new managers merchandising strategies cater predominanatly to the hipster crowd, and I (as a senior citizen) felt snubbed when I asked about the reason(s) for all the recent changes that were made within the last 3-4 months. {for the new managers} Sorry, I know retail work is challenging, but I do have a choice of where I spend my money. I shop carefully and check expiration dates, ingredients, weights, and recommended number of servings. You can also find products you did not know you "needed." Eggs can also be a good buy, bread not so much. A great time of the year is when they have their 20% off wine sale and 20% off vitamin sale. (Not positive it's 20% off on vitamins, but I think that's it.) The owners are friendly and proud of their store. Most of the employees are super helpful. Also this store supports several local charities. My advice is give yourself time to shop and you will be amazed at some of the bargains.

I had to purchase a pair of dress shoes, and I specifically asked the salesperson when I told her that they were a little tight, but was assured that they would loosen up upon wear and if they didn't, that I could return them. I thought, "that's why I love Nordstrom's." Fast forward two hours, and I had a huge blister on the inside of my big toe. I had to remove the shoes and switch into tennis shoes, which did not match my suit at all. But, I knew I could return the shoes, so I was OK with that. I took the shoes back and was told by a sales clerk and by the manager, "Finn," that I could not return the shoes because they had been worn outside. I explained to her that I specifically asked that when I purchased them earlier and was assured that I could. She said that didn't matter because there were scuffs on the sole of the shoe. I said I would take store credit and she said "aren't you listening, I said we could not take them back." I would avoid this Nordstrom's rack, find another or better yet, just skip them altogether - they are not what they used to be, they do not stand behind their products, and they do not stand behind their word.

They have big ones, small ones, heavy ones, ones with short handles, and ones with longer handles. I spent a long time picking one out to my liking. The inside feels like a big warehouse with everything neatly placed in a way that you can just walk up and down the aisles with ease. There was so much to look at that I felt like I spent close to an hour or more here. Some things were reasonably priced, while others were a little higher. It really depends on what you plan on getting from here. I almost got a wok from there but decided against it because the one on sale was a little bit too heavy for me. If you are in the area and love kitchen things, I would suggest going to Shin Shin to check it out. It was fun for me, and I plan to take my mom there on our next trip to Seattle. However, I might regret that decision later, because my mom would just spend her entire trip there and not want to leave. Haha, I will keep you posted on this. Parking is plentiful. Credit cards are accepted. One thing that caught my attention, though, was that the employees would stare you down after a little while. Instead, I was met with the most shockingly rude, dismissive service I have ever encountered at any retail establishment. This one employee single-handedly cost your store a guaranteed $500 sale. I left empty-handed -- not because you didn't have what I needed, but solely because of her attitude. I took my business elsewhere, to someone who actually wanted to be there, and spent every dollar without hesitation. As a business owner myself, I would never allow someone with this disposition anywhere near a customer. One bad employee can undo everything you've built. Today, that's exactly what happened. I won't be returning.
