While in the Tamarac area, I could not skip stopping at this Dollar Tree. Always an adventure to see what they have on the shelves and what they might have that other Dollar Trees don't have. I have a weakness for snacks....salty snacks...so when I can get name brand snacks for $1.25, I load up. Most items were well set up and well organized on the shelves. Good size store.

Like all other chain stores, this review is pretty much a copy of the other ones for dollar tree. These types of stores all follow the same business model from store to store. Most of my readers know that I am a HUGE fan of the Dollar Tree stores and this location is no exception.  This store is in a pretty big shopping center with a very large shared parking lot The store is big and fortunately these stores are all set up the same way so finding items from store to store is very easy.   What ever you need for household items and food, and cleaning supplies, etc, etc. can be found here. I don't know how they do it but dollar tree is my goto for cards, balloons, glassware and more.    They have a great staff who are always willing to help you out but...  that staff is limited and if they're not helping you, they're probably working at the cash register or unpacking new merchandise.  They could definitely use a few more cashiers to move the line a bit more quickly but that could have a negative impact to the pricing structure so I never go here if I'm in a big rush. Big, bright and clean with a friendly team....    They have the perfect retail model here.

I am a dollar tree fan for sure because their items are all really a DOLLAR. Unlike some, a dollar and up... Some false advertising in some stores. Anywho.......... I have been to many dollar tree stores and they tend to be small, unorganized... Stuff everywhere, lack of inventory and employees don't care. But THIS store stands out from the rest. It is located in a shopping plaza with Walmart. It is easily the cleanest and most organized dollar tree I've ever been to. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in actually! You can navigate through the aisles easy, items very organized. They have a good amount of inventory. Pleasant store and employees. I will be definitely making more visits here!

I can't believe I found me a Dollar Tree that's well-kept not only that employees that have good personality.

I was so excited to read about this new store... an odd lot;job lot;big lot;place with bargains. In…read morereality, it was very disappointing. The concept is that you grab a bag and sift through cardboard boxes of stuff and fill up your bag. Depending on the day you come, the prices change. Monday's price is $3; on Tuesdays it's $2 for each item in the box, etc... down to a 25 cents "blowout" on Thursday morning... until they restock and start the week again. I don't know if the people who came over the weekend and paid $6 an item got all the bargains, but we didn't see even one thing that we considered buying. It was just big cardboard boxes lined up and very awkward to reach into that had piles of the same junk in it -- items you'd find left over from a sale in a flea market. Around the perimeter were drug store and grocery items marked at supposedly 50 percent off the retail price. Again nothing that was of any interest to us. And that's saying a lot when I can't find at least one thing to spend my money on. I'm glad I came -- so I won't feel like I've missed out on anything. Now I know.

Store feels cluttered and slightly dark. We walked in to find only one other visitor on Saturday afternoon. We heard staff making up prices in back area for incoming items. It felt like rock, paper, scissors. Hmmm .... They proudly offer they are a Target Store liquidator now. Interesting as at least 1/2 the store did not look like regular Target merchandise. The pricing now is full retail and then a discount of 35% off. Todays special was slightly higher. They also warned that credit card would add a 3% charge. (Being in financials, they should check processor contract as Visa/MC do not commonly allow this) It was not what we wanted and left. Not knocking their decision to go this route, but doubt we would return. The original business design seemed to offer more possibilities and just needed some better execution. We do wish them luck ....

Original bins is a discount store located in the Boulevard Shops II on University Dr. in…read moreLauderhill. The store sells returns and overstocks from other retailers like Amazon and Target. I have shopped this kind of discount store before and for me it is hit and miss depending on what they have in that day. Here they have the bins in the middle of the store. What you pay depends on the day of the week, Friday's $12, Saturday's $10, Sundays $8. By the time you get to Wednesday everything in the bins is $4. They restock on Thursday evenings. I stopped in on a Friday afternoon so the bins had the best selection but they were also the most expensive. In addition to the bins they have other items around the perimeter of the room at set prices, up to 90 percent off retail. I saw clothing, a lot of perfume, household items, holiday decorations, and small appliances. The friendly staff was at the ready to open any boxes I wanted to see and plug in the appliances to verify they worked. I saw a Le Creuset stock pot for only $29. They had a lot of household goods like dishes, sheets, blankets, pillows, and decorations. If you are setting up a new home and aren't picky this would be an inexpensive way to do so. If you are set on a specific brand you may find yourself out of luck. While I left empty handed it is always fun to stop and check out this kind of store because you never know what you will find.

99 Cent Farmer's Market - Pompano…read more What an unexpected gem! The 99 Cent Farmer's Market in Pompano blew me away with its gorgeous fruit selection, super fresh herbs, and all kinds of miscellaneous goodies -- all at unbelievably low prices. Everything was vibrant, fresh, and far higher quality than you'd ever expect for 99 cents. They even have great snack boxes that are perfect for on-the-go. And as a sweet surprise, we were given a free pumpkin on our way out! The staff made the experience even better. Everyone was warm and friendly, and I have to give a special shout-out to Angelina, our wonderfully helpful cashier, and Anissa -- The Juice Spot Queen -- who absolutely lives up to the title. If you haven't checked out this place yet, you're missing out. Highly recommended! PS Don't forget to bring your own shopping bags!

They always encouraged me to come back, and I did. Quality is OK day-of. Most of it needs to be eaten quickly. For instance their watermelon or mangoes wont be good after a week. That's fine but $5.99/small melon or $1/mango are almost as bad as publix. Not quite but almost. Where's the deals? If its expensive, Where's the high quality? I respect their game and wish them luck but sadly its a closed chapter for me. Its not that im not going to return out of spite, but I wont be returning simply because there's no point to. Theres no deals or anything amazing anymore. Best of luck
