Something about this place felt off. I mean it is set up like every other Salvation Army out…read morethere, right down to the smell. The store was fairly big but it felt as if it wasn't stocked appropriately. What was available in here wasn't anything I was looking for. I browsed through the selection but was easily disappointed. The one good thing about this spot was the location. The way it was connected to other stores made it easy to shop more at other places.

This is a fairly new addition to the Somerset area. Taking over a spot that has been plagued by…read morevacancy. It is a welcomed addition I am sure, but will it stand the test of time? Taking up space where the former Save-a-Lot once stood they have done an amazing job at making this space feel new. Fresh paint on the outside, bright lights on the inside. Your typical new Marshalls that you can come across. There is one glaring difference compared to the other locations. The size. This one, when compared to others, is much smaller. However, they didn't attempt to jam so much merchandise in here that it was overwhelming. They got the right amount of items and stocked the store accordingly. Departments were well labeled and you could navigate the store easily. I came in here in hopes of grabbing a pet item, kind of like a hail mary type of thing. They did have plenty of pet items, but not exactly what I was looking for.

I love the selection of locally crafted goods, and snagged some jalapeño mustard and garlic pickles as testament to things yummy. This shop also had nice selection cast iron skillets, boots, jackets and gloves. Seriously, this shop has it all, and I think anyone in the area is missing out if they don't stop in at least once. The owners are extremely friendly and they even steered me toward a pair of Alpaca socks, which I love beyond measure; every time I wear them, I know that I'll think of this store and better times.

This is my hometown pharmacy. When I was little, if my mother had any medical questions a doctor…read morecouldn't answer, Dick Letrent (owner) would be on it...whether it was an allergic reaction or possible case of elementary school head lice...they were always more than helpful!!!! Even more recently, like 9 or 10 years ago, when my daughter was still a baby or toddler visiting my parents in the summer for a few days to do some fishing or camping (or any outdoor activity) when she'd get any bee sting, rash, infection, etc. while she was in Bedford, my mom or dad would take her to Letrent's and they'd give her advice, tell her what prescription (or home remedy) would help her, and simply be there for her in any way that they could. At least once or twice, I can recall that the pharmacy would even stay there late to fill a prescription that my daughter or another family member would need right away, and they always did the same for my brother and I when we were kids. This pharmacy and family is absolutely wonderful!!! I still occasionally get my prescription refilled there when I'm visiting town for the holidays...just to say "hi" and support their local business. Nobody in any big chain pharmacy would or could provide the outstanding service that Letrent's has provided for their customers all of these years!

In April I had the chance to stop by this pharmacy to drop off prescriptions for my sister…read more Everyone there seemed like family to their "regulars" and truly appeared to care for their health and wellbeing. Besides being extremely friendly, they were also quick and efficient. When they had a question about one of the numerous prescriptions I had dropped off, they quickly called me so it would not hold up the filling of the others. When I had expressed concern that I was not positive that my brother-in-law might not be able to get the medicines picked up before they closed that evening, they were like, "Just call us, we'll be here". Who does that???? I wish this pharmacy was closer to me as I would surely use it myself.
