There isn't anything priced at $1 any more. The product selection isn't what it used to be either. I miss the big bags of popcorn for $1. Now the snacks are much more expensive. They should change the name of the store to reflect the higher prices. read more

We stopped by the Dollar Tree Kietzke Lane location in search for some Christmas gift bags and wrappers but found a whole lot more items like awesome Christmas decor, Harry Potter socks, a Christmas tumbler, 2026 calendars. The store was full of different Christmas-themed decors, ornaments, gift bags, boxes and wrappers plus it looks like they stocked up the shelf full of toys in anticipation of Christmas. Surprisingly, the store was still very organized despite the amount of shoppers. Our brief encounter with the cashier was pretty friendly; overall, we had a good shopping experience. read more

Quality/Quantity - This is the better of the 2 Dollar Trees that I visited today. They have employees here, so the issue with this store is a delivery issue, not employee issue. Out of all the dollar stores, Dollar Tree is my favorite because #1 reason everything is actually a $1 here, unlike some of their competitors. No return policy, see below suggestion. Atmosphere - Better of the 2 locations I visited today. Also, delivery day today so I will remember to come on Thursday next time. Service - N/A; not that it is not applicable, I just don't expect any service. I always only come for 1 or 2 items and know exactly what I want and why I come here. Price - $1 Each!! Can't beat the price. Owner Suggestion - I suggest a better return policy. The good news is that I rarely do returns. My kids like this place for cheap pens and make-up. They loose interest in the stuff quickly, which works out because the stuff breaks just as quickly, so there's no drama about throwing it away. I don't take stars off for that- you get what you pay for. I'm giving such a low rating because, while I was here today, a few people came in without masks on. One had a mask under her chin, not over her mouth or nose. She and one of the others with no mask at all were clearly not well- coughing profusely and generally looked like they had the flu. I asked the manager "Are people allowed in here without masks?" while motioning toward the sickly looking duo. He stated "I'm not the mask police. I'm not going to loose any business by asking anyone to wear a mask. They can shop if they're sick or not." I understand the whole rebelling against the mask thing. But when someone is clearly sick and coughing all over the place at a time like this, that's a whole different issue. No way I'm bringing my children back here ever again. A few bucks cheaper doesn't make sense when things are probably covered in flu or COVID filled respiratory discharge. I usually keep negative reviews to myself unless what I experience is especially bad. If it doesn't come across in this review, this was especially bad. read more

I stopped at this dollar tree while passing through Reno around the first week of July and it was the cleanest most organized Dolar Tree store I've shopped at. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I also loved the selection of items in the store which my dollar tree and others Ive been to do not have in stock at their location. I wish all dollar tree stores were as good as this one. read more

It's a dollar tree ($1.25 tree). It got bumped for inventory. We ducked in for paper plates. They didn't really have any(but has tons of styrofoam plates). Disturbed person out front. But that's not a shock. read more

Was great until the cashier tried to parent my kids for me but unlike her I kept my opinion to myself and didn't confront her. I come here for bargains not so strangers can try to correct my kids. Especially when she doesn't know anything about us and weren't walking down the aisles with us. Today is my birthday and my children already asked me for a ballon before we hit the register. They used their manners but the cashier certainly didn't when she told them to say please and thank you. She knew she was wrong too when she tried to backpedal and talk about being a parent and parenting herself. I went to this store because it's walking distance and you can save quite a bit for some basic items. I picked up a few things and made my way to the cashier. When I got to the gentleman working there. I greeted him with a friendly "HI. How are you doing today". He didn't answer or look at me. After ringing me up, I realized that I forgot to get envelopes. I asked him where they might be located to save a little time. He said he said that he had no idea. It made me wonder if really worked there, or for that matter, if he actually worked anywhere. If you like the job, and don't like people, get out of customer service. You don't provide a service and soon, you won't have a customer. read more

The manager at this Dollar tree used to run a tight ship. But today when I stood in line with three people in front of me and three people behind the longer checker took his sweet time and then described his method for painting his nails and with his elderly customers and quit checking all together.
