This is one of the messiest and disorganized Dollar Tree stores that I've been to. There's disorganized stuff all over ... every aisle is just a mess. I was in the area and I decided to stop to get a few things....but the way this store is....makes me not want to shop at this one again. A dollar tree is a dollar tree... that is to say most are similar -- with all items costing a dollar -- except for their neatness, organization, and staff. Although some are larger stores than others. This is a small to medium store. They have a good inventory selection. And it's usually fairly neat -- although lately not so much due to people ransacking their shelves. This is also our closest local store, so we are here often -- we get most of our greeting cards here as a rule, candy, Christmas stocking stuffers for the kids, and a few other items. However, it pays to know what everything should regularly cost as it's not always a bargain even at $1. Recently, when our local supermarket was totally out of certain items, I was able to find a dozen eggs here, a loaf of bread, margarine, and even a roll of paper towels. BTW, the eggs were medium in size, but surprisingly very good with deep yellow yolks. I'd never bought any "real" food here before, but now I wouldn't hesitate to do so. The other advantage, besides price, is the convenience of shopping nearby in a smaller and easier to navigate store. It's a popular location, since the Winn Dixie on the south end of the same plaza was closed last year, but still manageable. And I'm sure I'll be here again... read more

I have been on a Dollar Tree spree lately. All because of Pinterest! Anyhow, I have seen many, and most of them are messy, and have lots of out of stock items. This particular store is located in Powerline and Atlantic. It has a different set up. It was a little messy, but I saw a lot of boxes stocked on the floor which leads me to believe it was delivery day. I saw lots of items I have not seen in other stores, and no mayor out of stock items. The cashier was rude, nothing else to say about that. As far as Dollar Tree stores this one is worth checking out. read more

I love the Dollar Tree. You can get some of the most random things for a $1.00. I love the gift bags and wrapping paper, for the holidays there are always these very cool gift card holders that make giving the gift that much cuter, it's great for small rewards gifts for the kids, 20 oz. sodas, hair accessories such as bun donuts, and tools such as screwdrivers and wrenches. I mean how do you beat spending a dollar on these items? You can't! There are also glass vases of all shapes, marbles, and decorative things to make center pieces that are reasonable for parties whether it is Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc. There are party decorations for different themes, greeting cards, and random items you may need if you are staying at an Airbnb perhaps and just need something simple to get the job done. read more

Eh, not the best Dollar Store I've been to, but you know, I don't really expect much from my Dollar Trees which is sad I guess. This location looks a little rundown compared to most and could definitely use a good scrub and some new fixtures. In true Dollar Store fashion, everything costs, YOU GUESSED IT, one dollar, nothing more, nothing less. This store is on the smaller side so you may not find what you're looking for here. They do have pregnancy tests here so that's a bonus if you're in the market for those. Also, lots of greeting cards and cleaning supplies. The lady at the register was super efficient and friendly. There was a long line and only one register open. I was tempted to put everything back. Did I really need these tissues, probably not, but she got through the line so quickly with a smile on her face. There's a Walmart across the street, you may be better just going there. It's ok here, but with the size and selection here, if you're looking for something specific here you may not find it, but if not give it a try. read more

Give me a holler if you love only paying a dollar. The Dollar Tree is a great way for me to stretch my budget where everything is a buck. You can't beat that! This store was expanded so now it's twice the size it was before. I primarily shop for party supplies, gift wrap paper and bags, cheap holiday decorations, Mylar balloons, and candy. There are a lot of bargains to be had. One recent discovery is the hard cover books for a $1. Sometimes they have some pretty good titles. They usually have a decent office supply section but today it was picked over. I was looking for a padded mailer and scotch tape and they were both out. On the bright side for only $4 I was able to get enough party decorations to brighten up a birthday party potluck. They were so cheap that I didn't feel bad about tossing them out once the party was done. It's always worth a look to see if you can score an inexpensive treasure. read more

These Dollar Trees here are far nicer than the ones I've been to in Boston and Delaware. Aisles upon aisles of $1 goodies I possibly wouldn't need. They even have food warmers for those buffet trays, wide selection of hair and beauty products, plenty of cleaning products, and a good amount of snacks and kitchen products. The tongs here, something I noticed, are smaller and partially made of plastic, while the dollar store on Atlantic has the full metal BBQ style tongs. If a fellow Yelper said this Dollar Tree was slightly rundown and limited, then I can't imagine how much better the others are and we've been missing out in Boston. read more

This place was clean and well organized. Staff were friendly and helpful. Albeit no toilet paper was available for sale.

OK Staff. Saw fecal in the trash last night, absolutley not acceptable if staff is so busy before closing. Management skills are lacking since they should clean up the fecal in trash, and how hard is it to check the bathroom before closing time? I felt sick after breathing in the fecal. One of the greatest joys of suburbia are the high-class dollar stores. Unlike dollar stores in the ghetto that have a motley crue of crap available for sale, these massive dollar department stores have just about everything, They're clean and organized, and CHEAP. I stopped in here for a few last minute accessories for the gang attending the pub crawl. The store was pleasant, and had a massive selection. Why can't they build some of these in South Miami? I suppose real estate prices have something to do with it. Nonetheless, whenever I'm in the area, I stop in for my cheapo depo fix, and love it. read more

I walked in seemed like a normal dollar tree.. Needed some plastic table covers. That area was crazy 3 rows were taken by kids running around playing with toys. I ended up seeing a iPhone iPad stylus I stopped to look and what seemed to be the kids mom was next to me. I just had a myomectomy so it's my 3rd day starting to walk. Two kids started bumping in to me and hitting me with little plastic baseball bats and the mom. They ran off and she stayed. I made a comment who's kids are those, she says mine and walks off rude to another aisle while mumbling profanity I spoke to myself and said I keep my kids by side in stores for their safety. She turns around yells profanity and calls me a dumb white lady. Now their is pencils flying from the other aisle and crayons. I hear a lay say "where is she" and then I hear a louder scream "the white lady" then while still looking at the phone products a lady approached me screaming crazy and cussing I said ma'am please do not curse at me and not in front of children. The kids started cursing and a little girl around 5 years old eating a bag of in store chips threw a bunch on me. The manager told them multiple times kids can't be running in store. Management was scared to kick the ladies out. I told her i am going to call police if she doesn't stop threatening me. My fiancé was between us she wanted to fight in the store August 2nd at 4:30pm even the cashier said he thought people were fighting. They emptied there baskets stood outside the doors screaming I bet you won't come outside. This is a very unsafe place. read more

The selection of items in this store is limited. I came in to purchase snacks and beach items for a family trip. There was a small section dedicated to food items and many of those shelves were empty. For a store located so close to the beach, there were just a few items to choose from. I did find a six-pack of water for $1 which was a good convenience buy. Still, there were many boxes stacked around the store. By the time I joined the check out line, it was quite long and only one register was open. The cashier did not seem in rush to get the line down and did not call for back up for several minutes. Eventually, they opened another line, but both of them moved slowly. I overheard the cashier telling customers several times that they had sold out of several items they were looking for. I can say that this store was not cluttered with merchandise and it was easy to maneuver around the aisles. read more
