Wide open easy to view store. Employees walking around to help to find items. All items now $1.25 unless special items like birthday cards - still $1. Everything available here from food, school supplies, St Patrick's Day stuff, to helium balloons. I love the candy aisle. Quick check out area too. 3.5 stars here.

They have another store in Sunrise on Nob Hill and Sunset Strip next to Doris's Italian Market. There is also a location in Hollywood and Boynton Beach. Uncle Buck$ seems to be most well known for their 3 for $10 wines. The also sell cold water for 25 cents which is great because Sawgrass Mills Mall is huge and you get parched walking the whole mall. Items I saw for sale included healthcare, clothing, accessories, food, toys, cleaning products, jewelry, house hold goods, and seasonal items. The had a whole wall of Easter decorations and toys. Prices were inexpensive. You could get pajamas for $5 and children's clothing for as low as 4 for $10. There wasn't anything here that I needed today but this mall attracts a lot of people on vacation who will appreciate having an inexpensive place to pick up the odds and ends they may have forgot to bring with them.

Very reasonable wine prices too. Only problem I had was most of the bottles were either labeled in Italian or Spanish. I did find a Robert Mondavi red blend however did not have a chance to drink it. 3 bottles for $11.00 or 1 for $4.00. I always shop here when I am in town. Geat fun!

The Dollar Tree is descended from the Ben Franklin discount stores that first began operating 1953…read more After creating Ben Franklin's, the founders opened K&K 5&10 and K&K Toy Stores. In the mid 80's another discount chain was started called only $1.00. In the 90's it was decided that the company would only focus on the development of dollar stores and in 1993 the name was changed to Dollar Tree. The company now operates close to 15,000 stores in 48 states. The company also operates the Family Dollar chain. In the past I have shopped Dollar Tree for inexpensive birthday decor, bags, candy, wrapping paper, tissue paper, greeting cards, and sensory items for my students. This time I was on the hunt for plastic gold coins for St. Patrick's Day. I found a craft online where you stick the coins in a paste of water, green dye, and baking soda and form it into leprechaun rocks that when dry can be hidden and when found dissolved in leprechaun juice otherwise known as white vinegar. The hidden surprise floats to the surface to reveal the lucky coin. I think the kids are going to love them. Unfortunately the Dollar Tree nearest to me was sold out of everything for St. Patrick's Day. I was in the area and spotted this store and from the outside I didn't have high hopes but jackpot! They had exactly what I needed plus more. The store was very neat and was actually quite large. They had a lot of items my local store doesn't carry. I ended up purchasing some more things to fill out some birthday gifts I will be giving shortly. A few aisles were closed off with yellow tape but you could still shop them. Best of all no line and I was out in a flash. Dollar Tree may charge an extra 25 cents now but for most things they are still a bargain.

But they seem they are organizing things better as time goes along. They have some of EVERYTHING from food stuffs to furniture, toys, clothes, shoes, towels, sheets, bug zappers, light bulbs, paper ware, fancy water bottles, car seat covers, blankets, aspirin, deodorant, dishes, electronics, watches, big TVs, paper shredders, wine coolers, generators, safes- those big cast iron ones that survive infernos-----I still left a ton of stuff off this list haha......be aware that scratch and ding and retaped boxes of repackaged stuff rule here. I go mainly because I'm intrigued every time I go. Its unsuspectingly located in a huge warehouse, a short business row. From the front, it is quite nondescript, next to a dental office. Once inside, it can be overwhelming. You can wander around inside for hours discovering items tucked away in nooks and crannies, inspecting goods for missing parts and defects, looking for that "steal deal". Most of the items look like Costco returns and overstock items. Lots of Kirkland around. I got this really cool 2 person Tommy Bahama beach tent that compacts down into a tiny shoulder bag for $15--it scanned $60 on amazon price check, but I had to search through a bunch of them to piece part a complete one to take for myself. Also, some stuff, being a loyal Costco member myself, seemed really over priced for the not-great condition it may have been in. Check expiration dates! Customer service is usually pretty good, too. They get it that its controlled chaos, and they do their best to help you sort through it. In the winter, be prepared to be bulldozed in th aisles like you don't exist by some lovely visitors who, I've witnessed, argue for hours with the cashiers about the clearly posted "no money back, all sales final" policies----waiting in line, you see it on everyone else's faces "it was a dollar, really? Unlike maybe, YOU, I've got to get back to work!" Workers have been awesome for me, though, with exchanges if you talk to them with decent respect and reasonableness. Gee. Fun.
