I will return, they had all the items I needed and more.I was going down the street and stumbled upon the store

The Dollar Tree is my place to go for hot cheetos or as it's sometimes known in the Rio Grande Valley, "jachiros." They carry xxxtra, fries, not extra, and puffs. Why pay the extra .29 cents or so when you can just get it for a dollar? Also as with all dollar stores, great for disposable, diminishing necessities like Drano, sponges, LINT ROLLERS etc. read more

My first trip to this Dollar Tree location was a huge disappointment! I went there to look for flowers and the only ones they had were pointsettias... Other than that... I will say that the floorspace is a lot larger than the one in City of Industry/Walnut, unless this one just doesn't have as much product on the floors? I do miss the first one I used to go to, I felt like it had way more stuff to look at/find. Surprisingly no impulse buys from me over here - that's a good thing for my bank account, maybe not good for the layout of this store? No se :/ NOTE: Private parking lot & street parking. read more

Some staff was very helpful, others clearly didn't want to be there. No plain clear plastic forks! Store is okay, pretty old and run down. read more

I like this Dollar Tree. It is large and well maintained. The parking lot is small though. They seem to carry different things from the Dollar Tree by my house so I check it out about every other month. Bargains galore if you shop carefully. It is my go to for puzzles, olives, paper plates, stocking stuffers, and seasonal kitsch. read more

I've been here a few times and there was a long line at the checkout every time. For the business they generate, they are understaffed. Typically, there would only be one cashier. I do have to say, despite the long line, the cashiers here are friendly, so that's definitely a plus. Their selection is decent, but the store is messy. Again, it may be that the store is understaffed for how busy it is, but there is always stuff thrown on the floor and misplaced. The store would look so much better if they just spend some time tidying it by putting things back where they belong and removing merchandise that were haphazardly placed on the floor. read more

This is a newer one that replaced I believe a blockbuster or some other store before. I forgot. This place is pretty big comparative to other dollar trees. The gap areas are large enough to fit a dance floor lol. They actually have nicer items here. I was able to find some cute washi tape. You can never find washi tape for $1! That was my steal of the day. They have a larger selection of party supplies. Since the aisles are longer and larger they have more selection of stuff which was pretty cool. It seems like at the time they had helium even with this shortage going on. Overall, would come back. Its farther but if I'm in the area which is DMV time, I would stop by to raid this store. =) read more

Definitely a better selection than the nearby Dollar Trees! Clean, organized, with a huge seasonal section, this is my go-to place to shop for holiday and birthday decors, seasonal items (xmas, valentines day, spring), as well as everyday home items that i can't muster to pay over $5 for. In particular, I came in to shop for balloons (the aluminum [i think] kinds, not latex), and they suggest coming in on tuesday/wednesdays to avoid them running out of stock. Edwin was the sales associate helping me, and my gosh, he was so patient and kind! I give him 2 thumbs up with dealing with annoying patrons (ahead of me in line) and my specific self with picking out balloons. He's a great employee that made my trip to the Dollar Tree enjoyable! read more

First time at this location (used to go here all the time when it was a Frazee paint store). They do a good job of using as much space as possible and providing a huge selection of items. Summary below: Pros: - Great selection of product - Price is always a plus - Even has some name-brand items - Have private parking lot - Lines aren't crazy long (at least when I went) Cons: - Parking lot is quite small - Location is a little difficult to see off Rosemead Blvd. read more

Love this place!!! I always find great birthday supplies and snacks. If you have lot gone to dollar tree yet, get off you butt and go. Also, they now have fall Decore out!!! read more

I normally wouldn't rate a dollar tree; for the main reason that it's a dollar/discount place, but this one is different. The store is organize, clean and the staff is helpful. I went to get to get 5 items. I ended up spending $60. All on things I actually need; which is even better! I found things here I couldn't find elsewhere or extra expensive at other stores. Ex/ scrap booking stickers; michael's $3.99, similar ones here $1. Crafts items; usually hard to find, were found here. PLUS, the staff is friend (no attitude or hesitation to help). I'm pregnant and the cashier kept offering bag/car service (staff help load baggage into car). Even thou I didn't need it I do appreciate the offer :). Thanks, cashier manager! They have lots here; seasonal items, craft, school supplies, (even) food, containers, name brand items and more. read more

I'm ashamed that the staff here knows me but i really enjoy coming here once a week. They have all types of trinkets for my toddler and lots of candy for my "crack drawer" at work. The store is clean and everyone is very friendly. They also have the latest in seasonal items. read more

This is my favorite Dollar Tree location- super friendly staff, clean store and gender neutral restrooms available for customers. And everything is $1, so go crazy! read more

Kind of a dirty location I have to say. Found some every day things here but nothing crazy.

There is only 1 way and out of this lot and every time I try to go to the dollar tree there is some sort of grid lock. Now I park on the street and walk in. I suggest you do the same. This store is super organized. I appreciate it. Inventory changes with the seasons. Household goods, office supplies, cleaning supplies, disposable dish wear, party supplies, cards for all occasions, snacks (tuna snack box, vienna sausages 2 for $1), soda, and a lot of things you didn't even know you needed! They have the metallic helium balloons for sales for birthdays and graduation (since it is that time of year). For $1!? Pre-blown up, no line? I bought 2 for my sibling's birthday. read more

This place is so much fun to shop! You never know what you will find. Came in for Mother's Day card and balloons and $25 dollars later I was leaving with bags full of BBQ party, Fourth of July and other stuff I didn't know I needed. Got some freezable margarita glasses that I'm going to use as party favors for my next BBQ! read more

Big Shout out to Mark, the cashier, who was super friendly, patient, and helpful today. He was supposed to close the lane, but offered to stay open for the customer who came after us. He was courteous to everyone and offered to open the door for us since we had our hands full with our purchase. Customer service should be modeled after Mark! The store itself was pretty well stocked and neat. We were looking for Halloween decorations but it was minimal. Totally understandable since it's only August. They had lots of back to school supplies. There was also an employee in the back of the store who nicely offered to take the plastic bottle and broken cap that I dropped (opps, sorry!). The store was hard to find on the street because of the big trees that blocked it and lack of signage, and it was tough to exit because the view of oncoming traffic was obstructed. But other than that, I really liked this location. We'll be back to check out their Halloween stock (and 50 other things we don't need but had to get since it's only $1.) read more

I am here right now at 6:15 pm, it's dark outside. I guess I've never been here at night. It's not right or safe that the store has NO OUTDOOR LIGHTING!!! The only lighting comes from the store. That's not right or acceptable in my opinion! And the parking lot curves around the back of the store. I wouldn't recommend parking back there. DOLLAR TREE PLEASE FIX THIS!! read more

Everyone here is very nice but Yvotte. I was busy organizing inside of my wallet and I left some cash (for whatever I was going to buy) on the counter right next to their card reader. She YELLED at me to say that I was so rude not to hand the money directly to her. She was checking on her cell phone at work while I was putting all the money together. The small counter at the cashier is clearly there for customers to leave money on!!!!! She was lazy and just didn't wanna stretch her arm to get the cash on the counter. You never yell customers and you never touch your cellphone during work. It's a common sense. read more

Javier was incredibly rude and made my family and I not even want to be there. At checkout he screamed at us asking if we were ready to checkout when we were clearly in line, then once paying he was giving us all attitude and made us feel uncomfortable. This experience was bad, however I did find the items I was looking for so that's why I gave 2 stars. Wouldn't recommend this location, the workers I have stumbled upon are not helpful and very disrespectful. It could be that not all of the employees are this rude, but the ones i've come across sure are. read more

Very friendly staff. Store is clean and has s good selection of items. It's my new go to dollar tree.

Although the Pasadena store merchandise is good and it has fun seasonal stuff, it's a disorganized store. (It use to be a very clean, tidy and organized place) But since this last year, the shelves are a mess. Merchandise is not always where it belongs. The bathroom is not clean. No tissue seat cover, toilet paper down to just a few papers on the roll. Recently while i was in Fullerton I visited the Dollar tree there. That store in comparison was organized and the shelves were in order and tidy. All the merchandise was were it was suppose to be. It was a pleasure to shop there. There just doesn't seem to be any pride at the Pasadena store, it reflects on the manager and the workers there. What a shame. read more

New local Dollar Tree in the Pasadena area! My wife and I have been waiting for this place to open every time we pass by. Very clean and lots of different selection. We found our local supply store. Take a gander, you won't be disappointed. Parking is good and the staff is friendly. There is a handicap ramp and a place to put carts when you're done shopping. There are good deals on greeting cards: 2 for a $1. Lots of basic food items and condiments. Basic kitchen, cleaning supplies, and tools. Many snacks to choose from. You can't go wrong when it's a dollar or less. Our receipt was long but we only spent less than $30. Left the store feeling good. Welcome to the neighborhood, Dollar Tree!! read more

My visit was very short so I don't have much to say. The reason as to why my visit was short is because apparently this location likes to close early read more

According to older reviews, this store, I guess used to be well organized. Gosh, now stuff is everywhere, It could never be straightened out. As for security, well. I did notice some round bubbles in the ceiling, which I guess are cameras, but it seems too easy to just take stuff, since there is nothing at the front door. Yeah, a few employees, one of which should stay in the back room, all the time to monitor the cameras. As for my personal experience. It was late on a Saturday afternoon, and an older lady with blonde hair was waiting on me at the counter. Two more customers showed up. The lady reacted to our conversation by leaving the counter, and going to a remote part of the store to fetch a possible purchase for me. Obviously, the two customers were not impressed with being ignored. I felt really bad, but did not say anything. This employee (one of 3 that I saw), has a lot to learn. I still go to the store, however, due to the "alternate" sources to the 99 cent store. read more

The selection is good but the employees have no sense of urgency. Please clean up the exterior of the business. It's nasty.

This dollar tree is located like about 10 minutes from my job. I love going here, the customer service is always great. Parking is so easy to find. Everything is stocked up and it's pretty clean. The only thing is that there usually is a homeless person outside the establishment, in one of the times I visited, a homeless person tried to jack something and an employee stopped him, a kind of scary altercation but nothing to serious. Overall you can't go bad with these low prices! read more

What a mess in this store, nothing is in order, can't find anything, I wondered why my friends never liked shopping their. I love the dollar tree stores but the Pasadena store needs some work read more

Clean store. Good selection of items. Nice workers. And everything is a dollar (hence the name, hehehe)!

Typical dollar tree, good place to pick up inexpensive items. Parking is ok if you go to the back. A little dicey getting out of the parking lot, just be careful. The store was clean and orderly when it opened, but now some of the shelves are in disarray, merchandise on the floor, and the parking lot looks a mess with litter. There is no excuse for that; employees should patrol and pick up litter. I would have bought a few items, but there was a line of about 7 people, so I just left. I'm disappointed in the store. read more

Beware of Tammy. Rude, rude and down right bitchy! Texting on the job instead of organizing the endcaps, it's no wonder why this store looks the way it does. Her attitude is not the kind you expect from anyone in customer service. She was upset because I placed a couple of my unwanted items in a basket that already had merchandise to be restocked to begin with. She then asked me if I wanted that stuff and I replied no. She huffed and rolled her eyes. I was taken back by her reaction. With an attitude, she told me that she saw me in the aisle with two baskets. I told her that one basket wasn't mine and it already had other items that weren't mine in it. I asked her if that was ok. She replied with, "I guess it's going to have to be" and went to start ringing me up. I did notice her hovering over me while I was shopping. Did I look like a thief? The face she was making and the stare she gave me while she was ringing me up was almost to intimidate me made. It made me very uncomfortable and tense. I asked her if she was doing ok today. She replied very annoyed and rudely that yes she was. As I exited the store, I observed her through the window texting on her phone instead of making use of the down time to tidy up the cashier aisles and stock merchandise from the dozen boxes just laying around. She clearly doesn't know how to cope with stress or customers. Management needs to look into the morale and employees like Tammy who reflect poorly on the store not only with customer service but the overall operation. Take the Monterey Park location on Atlantic Blvd for example. 9 out of 10 employees have wonderful and positive attitudes that seem to like their job and the store looks neat and orderly 99% of the time. They even greet you as you walk in. That store is a perfect example of good management with happy employees. Tammy needs a reality check that it's consumers who pay her wage and management needs to reprimand and retrain her. I've tried calling to speak to the store manager regarding this incident and I didn't get an answer. I didn't mention that my purchase was nearly $60 and for that I hoped to get at least get a friendly smile out of Tammy. I gave it the extra star only because I did find a few items that I've been looking for that I couldn't find at other Dollar Tree locations. read more

I went to this Dollar Tree recently and was highly impressed!! There's a private lot witih the entrance on Rosemead, just north of the store. The store is very clean and organized. There was an employee who went above and beyond to help me find something I was looking for. You don't get that type of customer service in many stores anymore. Although I don't frequent that area quite often, I will start making it a point to visit this store. They have so many items for $1. Everything from school supplies, organizational items, car cleaning supplies, beauty products, food containers, utensils, painting supplies, paper goods, etc. If you're going in for one item you're most likely going to come out with several ;) read more

This dollar tree is pretty big , I would have to say it's the second biggest dollar tree I've been too the other location that's quite large is in covina on grand I believe that location has more product ... But today we are reviewing this location lol it's very clean organized and has a lot of open space so your not feeling cramped while looking for a specific product. I was also surprised to see name brand things I don't see at other dollar trees or maybe everything is so crammed in other stores that I tend to go for holiday decorations get In and get out ! But this location carries Betty Crocker cookware as well as name brand candies. One tip is this city does charge .10 cents per bag so if your planning on buying the store or don't want to pay the .10 per bag pack your own ... And happy shopping !!! read more

My biggest issue with this location is the lines are always a mile long. The checker never bothers to look up to notice how long the line is. The merchandise is the same as any other location. It's a shame I won't be giving them my business as often. My time is precious! read more

I was very impressed when I went in today! The one by my house has a lot of things but it's smaller location and not very well organized but the one at this location had huge amount of product that I had no seen in the other locations very friendly workers the had no Christmas ornaments but it's prolly because everybody took them lol and they have extra parking in the back just wish they had more space read more

What you would expect from any dollar store. Great savings but you have to know quality isn't going to be the best.

Came here to shop for cheap items to take to college. It's perfect for budget buyers! Tons of great quality items.

Best dollar tree location I have ever been to. Well stocked. Great staff. Highly recommend this location. Will be returning next week. Word of advice, don't go to the Rosemead location. If you do steal and laugh from them since they don't give a shit about you or your needs. Don't steal from this location because they are here to serve you. read more
